  • Four angels hold the breeze wey fit destroy things (1-3)

  • Them stamp 144,000 people (4-8)

  • Plenty-plenty people wey wear white long cloth (9-17)

7  After this one, I see four angels wey stand for the four corners of the earth, and them hold the breeze wey de come from the four corners of the earth tight, so that no breeze go blow the earth or the sea or any tree.  And I see another angel wey de come from the east,* and e hold the seal of the God wey dey alive. E come use loud voice talk to the four angels wey them give the power to cause trouble for the earth and the sea,  de talk say: “No do anything to the earth or the sea or the trees, until we don put stamp for front of the head of the slaves of our God.”  And I hear the number of people wey them stamp. Na 144,000, wey them stamp from every tribe of the sons of Israel:  From the tribe of Judah, na 12,000 people them stamp; from the tribe of Reuʹben 12,000; from the tribe of Gad 12,000;  from the tribe of Ashʹer 12,000; from the tribe of Naphʹta·li 12,000; from the tribe of Ma·nasʹseh 12,000;  from the tribe of Simʹe·on 12,000; from the tribe of Leʹvi 12,000; from the tribe of Isʹsa·char 12,000;  from the tribe of Zebʹu·lun 12,000; from the tribe of Joseph 12,000; from the tribe of Benjamin, na 12,000 people them stamp.  After this one, I see plenty-plenty people wey nobody fit count, wey come from all nations, tribes, people and different-different language,* them stand for front of the throne and the Lamb, and them wear white long cloths, and palm tree leaves dey their hand. 10  And them continue to shout with loud voice say: “Our God wey sitdown for the throne, and the Lamb, don save us.” 11  All the angels be stand around the throne, and around the elders and the four cherubs,* and them fall face ground for front of the throne and worship God, 12  de talk say: “Amen! Make the praise and glory and sense and thanks and honor and authority and power be our God own forever and ever. Amen.” 13  One of the elders come ask me say: “This people wey wear white long cloths, who them be, and where them come from?” 14  So quick-quick, I tell-am say: “My Lord, na you know the answer.” E come tell me say: “This na the people wey come out from the serious trouble,* and them don wash their long cloths and make them white with the blood of the Lamb. 15  Na im make them dey for front of the throne of God and them de do holy work for-am day and night for im temple, and the Person wey sitdown for the throne go spread im tent cover them. 16  Them no go hungry again and their throat no go dry again. Sun no go beat them again and no strong heat go worry them, 17  because the Lamb, wey dey the center of the throne, go care for them like shepherd, and e go lead them go the place* wey water of life de come from, and God go wipe all the tears comot from their eyes.”
