Romans 10:1-21
10 My brothers, the thing wey I really want for inside my heart and wey I de really beg God for about Israel people na say make God save them.
2 I fit talk about them say them de put all their heart to serve God, but them no de do-am according to the correct teaching.
3 Because them no know the things wey God see as righteous things but them de try to do wetin them think say e dey righteous, them no put theirself under the righteous things of God.
4 Because na Christ be the end of the Law so that everybody wey de show say e get faith, God go see-am as righteous person.
5 Moses write about how to dey righteous through the Law, e talk say: “The person wey de do this things go live because of them.”
6 But the Word of God talk about to dey righteous because of faith say: “Make you no talk for inside your heart say, ‘Who go go up to heaven?’ wey mean, to bring Christ come down,
7 or ‘Who go go down inside the abyss?’* wey mean, to bring Christ come up from death.”
8 But wetin the word of God talk? E say, “The word dey near you, for inside your own mouth and for inside your own heart, wey mean, “the word” of faith wey we de preach about.
9 Because if you talk for public with your mouth say na Jesus be Lord and show say you get faith for your heart say God bring-am back to life, God go save you.
10 Because na with the heart person de show say e get faith to dey righteous, but with the mouth, person de talk for public about that faith wey go save-am.
11 And the word of God talk say: “Nobody wey put im faith for-am go shame.”
12 Jew person no dey different from Greek person. Na the same Lord be the head of all of them. E de open hand give to everybody wey de call-am.
13 Because “Jehovah go save everybody wey de call im name.”
14 But, how them go call-am if them never put faith for-am? And how them go put faith for person wey them never hear about? And how them go hear if person no dey to preach?
15 And how them go preach unless person send them? Just as them don write-am say: “The leg of people wey de preach good news of good things really fine!”
16 Even with that one, no be all of them obey the good news, because Isaiah talk say: “Jehovah, na who don put faith for the thing wey them hear from us?”*
17 So faith de come after person don hear something. And person go hear the word about Christ when them preach-am to the person.
18 But I ask say, Them be get the chance to hear? Yes, them get-am. True-true, the word of God talk say, “their sound go out for all the earth and their message reach everywhere for the earth.”
19 But I still ask say, Israel be no understand? Moses first answer say: “I go use something wey no be nation to make una jealous, I go use foolish nation to make una really vex.”
20 But Isaiah start to really get strong heart and talk say: “The people wey see me na people wey no de find me; the people wey know me na people wey no de ask about me.”
21 But e talk about Israel say: “For the whole day I really stretch my hand to people wey no de obey and people wey stubborn.”
