Romans 12:1-21
12 So my brothers, I de use the pity wey God de show to beg una say, make una give una body as sacrifice wey dey alive, wey dey holy and wey God accept. And this one na the worship wey una de give God* for the way una de reason.
2 And make una stop to allow this world* to mold una. But, make una change the kind person wey una be as una de change the way una de think, so that una go fit prove to unaself the thing wey God want wey dey good and wey e accept and wey dey perfect.
3 Because of the special favor wey God don give me, I de tell everybody among una say, make e no think about imself pass as e suppose to. But make e de think so that e go fit reason well, each person according to the amount of faith wey God don give-am.*
4 Because just as we get one body with many parts, but all the parts no de do the same work,
5 for the same way, even as we plenty, we be one body wey dey as one with Christ. But as parts for the body, each of us join to one another.
6 So since we get different-different gift just as God don show us special favor, if the gift na to talk message from God, make we talk the message according to our faith;
7 or if na work, make we do our best for the work; or the person de teach, make e do im best to teach well;
8 or if the person gift na to encourage* people, make e de encourage;* if the gift na to share* wetin e get, make e de open hand do-am; the person wey de direct,* make e de do-am well;* the person wey de show mercy, make e de do-am with all im heart.
9 Make una love no de pretend. Make una really hate wicked thing; hold good thing tight.
10 Make una get deep love for each other like people for the same family. Make una be the first* to show honor to each other.
11 De work hard,* no lazy.* Make the spirit de really move una.* Make una work as slave for Jehovah.
12 Make una de happy because of the hope. Make una endure when una de suffer. No tire to pray.
13 Make una de share wetin una get with the holy ones according to wetin them need. Make una de always welcome and care for people.
14 Make una continue to bless people wey de suffer una; de bless and no curse.
15 Make una de happy with people wey de happy; make una cry with people wey de cry.
16 Make una de see other people the same way una de see unaself; no de put una mind for big-big things,* but de follow simple things.* Make una no de think say na una get sense pass.
17 Make una no do anybody bad because e do una bad. Make una first de think of wetin everybody de see as fine thing.
18 If e dey possible, as long as e dey una hand to do-am, make una de try to get peace with everybody.
19 My dear brothers, make una no do person back for wetin e do una, instead, make una leave-am for God to show im vex; because them don write-am say: “‘Na me go give punishment, I go pay back,’ na wetin Jehovah talk.”
20 But “if your enemy de hungry, give-am food; if im throat dry, give-am something to drink; because as you de do this one, you go de pack hot charcoal ontop im head.”*
21 Make you no allow the bad thing win you, instead, make you continue to win the bad with the good.
