Romans 15:1-33

  • Welcome each other as Christ do (1-13)

  • Paul na servant wey de help the nations (14-21)

  • The plans wey Paul get to travel (22-33)

15  But, we wey strong suppose de support* people wey no strong for where them dey weak, no be to do wetin go benefit only ourself.  Make each of us de make im neighbor happy and de do wetin good for-am, to make-am strong.  Because even Christ no do wetin go make imself happy, but just as them don write-am say: “The things wey people de talk to insult you don fall ontop me.”  Because all the things wey them don write before our time, them write-am to teach us, so that when the Word of God don help us endure and give us comfort, we fit get hope.  Now make the God wey de help una to endure and de give una comfort help all of una get the same mind like Christ Jesus,  so that as one, una go fit use one voice* praise the God and Papa of our Lord Jesus Christ.  So make una de welcome* each other just as Christ still welcome una, so that God go get praise.  I de tell una say Christ become servant for people wey don circumcise, to show say God de always talk true, and to prove say the promise wey E make to their papa-papa them na true.  This one still happen so that the nations go fit praise God for im mercy. Just as them don write-am say: “Na because of this one I go praise you for public among the nations, and I go praise your name with songs.” 10  And again e talk say: “Make una wey be the nations de happy with im people.” 11  And again: “Praise Jehovah, all the nations, and make all the people praise-am.” 12  And again Isaiah talk say: “The root of Jes′se go come, the person wey de come to rule the nations; and na this person the nations go put their hope for.” 13  Make the God wey de give hope make una full with complete joy and peace as una de trust-am, so that una go fit get hope more-more with power of holy spirit. 14  Now my brothers, I dey sure about una say una still dey full with good things, una really know everything, and say una fit advice* each other. 15  But I don write to una to talk some things make e clear more-more, to remind una again because of the special favor wey God don show me, 16  for me to help the nations as servant of Christ Jesus. I de do the holy work to spread the good news of God, so that God go fit accept this nations as sacrifice wey e don use holy spirit to make-am holy. 17  So I get reason to really happy as disciple of Christ Jesus because of the things wey concern God. 18  I no go talk anything wey I don do by myself except the thing wey Christ Jesus don use me do, so that people of the nations go obey. And e use the things wey I talk and the things wey I do, 19  with the power of signs and wonderful things, with the power of the spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and go round reach Il·lyr′i·cum, I don really preach the good news about the Christ well. 20  So true-true, for this way, I don decide say I no go preach the good news for place wey them don already preach about the name of Christ, so that I no go build ontop another person foundation. 21  But just as them don write-am say: “People wey them never tell about-am go see-am, and people wey never hear go understand.” 22  Na this one still be the reason why many times, I no fit come see una. 23  But now, e no get place wey I never reach for this areas, and for many* years e don hungry me to come see una. 24  So, when I de travel to Spain, I hope say I go see una and una go escort me small when I de go, after I don first enjoy to stay with una for some time. 25  But now, I go soon travel go Jerusalem to help the holy ones. 26  Because the brothers for Mac·e·do′ni·a and A·cha′ia don happy to share their things as contribution to the poor people wey dey among the holy ones for Jerusalem. 27  Na true say them really happy to do-am, and true-true, them de owe the holy ones, because if this people of the nations don share from inside the things wey the holy ones receive from God, then them too suppose help the holy ones with wetin them get. 28  So after I don finish with this one, and I don make sure say I give them this contribution,* I go visit una when I de go Spain. 29  Apart from that one, I know say when I come see una, I go bring full amount of blessing from Christ. 30  Now my brothers, I de use our Lord Jesus Christ and the love from the holy spirit de beg una say make una join me to use all una heart de pray to God for me. 31  Make una pray say make God save me from the people wey no believe the good news for Ju·de′a and say make the holy ones for Jerusalem accept my work, 32  so that if God want, I go come see una with joy and we go enjoy the time wey we go spend together. 33  Make the God wey de give peace dey with all of una. Amen.
