E tell the people wey come look the land sey: ‘I go help una because I know sey Jehovah dey una side and because una go win this land. Abeg make una promise me sey una go save me and my family.’

Dem tell Rahab sey: ‘We dey promise you sey nobody for inside your house go die.’ Dem still tell am sey: ‘Tie red rope for your window and nothing go happen to you and your family.’

Rahab come give dem rope wey dem go use come down from im window. Dem come run go the mountain, go hide for three days before dem go meet Joshua. As Israel people cross river Jordan finish, dem arrange how dem go take collect the land. The first land wey dem collect na Jericho. Jehovah sey make dem march round Jericho for six days and na once dem go march round everyday. But for the day wey make am seven, dem go march seven times. As dem dey march, all the priest dey blow trumpet and soldier dey shout as dem fit shout reach. Jericho fence come dey scatter. But Rahab house wey dey the fence no scatter. Rahab and im family no die because Rahab put mind for Jehovah.
