(Genesis 19:15, 16) After plenty years, they throw prophet Daniel for place wey lions dey. But the lions no chop Daniel because “God send e angel come close the mouth of the lions.” (Daniel 6:22) Later, Jehovah send angel make e free apostle Peter from prison. But that one na lie, e fit put us for big trouble. For example, Bible show-am say demons and people wey them de see the future de work together. Acts 16:16-18 talk about one girl wey e de tell people things wey go happen. Na demon de give the girl power. When apostle Paul remove the demon from the girl, e no fit talk things wey e go happen again.

They want make we believe say this people de live for another place, and say they fit talk to us or cause trouble for us. For example, person wey e friend or family member die fit go meet native doctor. The native doctor go talk  say e fit talk with the dead person. E fit talk some things about the dead person, and e fit even talk like the person. (1 Samuel 28:3-19) Because plenty people believe say dead people de live for another place, e de make them do some kind things when their person die. Some of this things na wake keeping, sacrifice for dead people, remembrance, and second burial. When Christians no agree for this kind things, their family and country people fit de talk bad about them. They fit even insult them, or stop to do things with them. But Christians know say dead people no de live for another place. We no fit talk with them, and they no fit cause trouble for us. (Psalm 115:17) No ever try to talk with demons or dead person. ¹³ Demons no only de fool people, they still de do things wey e go make them fear. For this our time, Satan and e demons know say na “small time” remain before God go remove them from this earth. Na e make them de vex pass before. (Revelation 12:12, 17) But plenty people wey them de fear demons before no de fear them again. Na wetin help them?

14. Like the Christians for apostle time, how we fit free ourself from demons?

¹⁴ Bible tell us how we fit fight demons make they no de control us. For example, some people for the  city of Ephesus be de talk with demons before they come be Christian. How they fit free theirself? The person go still troway anything wey e de wear to protect e self from bad things.​—1 Corinthians 10:21.

15. Wetin we go still do if we want fight Satan and the demons?

¹⁵ Some years after the Christians for Ephesus destroy their magic book, apostle Paul talk say they still de “fight . . . wicked spirits.” (Ephesians 6:12) Even though say they don burn the books, the demons still de cause trouble for them. So wetin them need to do? Paul tell them say: “Carry the big shield of faith. ¹⁶ How we fit make our faith for Jehovah de strong more? We need to read Bible every day, and make we trust Jehovah say e go protect us. If we get  strong faith for Jehovah, Satan and the demons no go fit do us anything.​—1 John 5:5.

17. Which other thing go protect us from the demons?

¹⁷ Which other thing the Christians for Ephesus need to do? Plenty people for that town de use demon power. Na e make Paul tell them make them “de pray and de beg God all the time.” (Ephesians 6:18) They need to beg God to protect them every time. What about us?
