How They Arrange the Congregation

1. Who be the head of the congregation?

(Acts 15:2) But the Governing Body members no be the leaders for our organization. Them de allow Bible and Jehovah to guide them and them de follow direction from Jesus.

2. Who be the elders and which work them de do?

Elders na mature Christian men and them de use Bible teach, help, and encourage servants of Jehovah. They no de pay them for their work. Instead, them de follow wetin Bible talk say, “no do-am like them de force wuna. No do-am because wuna want gain something for wunaself, but make e be with all wuna heart.” (1 Peter 5:1, 2) Ministerial servants na brothers for congregation and them de help elders, and as time de go they fit become elders too.

The Governing Body de choose some elders to be circuit overseers. Them de visit congregations to guide and encourage brothers and sisters. Circuit overseers de use Bible check to see who they fit choose to serve as elder or ministerial servant for congregation.—1 Timothy 3:1-10, 12; Titus 1:5-9.

3. Which work every Jehovah Witness get?

Everybody for congregation de “praise the name of Jehovah” as them de give comment, give talks, and sing for congregation and as them de try their best to preach.—Read Psalm 148:12, 13.
