Wetin We Suppose Do if We Commit Serious Sin?
Even though say you love Jehovah with all your heart and you de try hard make you no do anything wey go pain Jehovah, sometimes you go still make mistake. But some sin serious pass other ones. (1 Corinthians 6:9, 10) If you commit any serious sin, remember say Jehovah never stop to love you; e still ready to forgive and help you.
1. Wetin we must do if we want make Jehovah forgive us?
People wey love Jehovah de always feel bad when they know say they don commit serious sin. But wetin Jehovah promise e people de make their heart calm down. Jehovah talk say: “Even if wuna sin be like red color, I go make-am white like snow.” (Isaiah 1:18) If we repent from our heart Jehovah go forgive us. Wetin e mean to repent? Na when we feel bad about the thing wey we do, stop to do-am and beg Jehovah make e forgive us. After, we go work hard to change the way we de think or do things wey make us sin, and we go try to live our life for the clean way wey Jehovah want.—Read Isaiah 55:6, 7.
2. How Jehovah de use the elders to help us when we sin?
If we commit serious sin, Jehovah tell us say make we “meet the elders for the congregation.” (Read James 5:14, 15.) This elders love Jehovah and they love servants of Jehovah. Jehovah don teach them wetin them go do to help us when we sin so that our friendship with Jehovah go strong again.—Galatians 6:1.
How the elders de help us when we commit serious sin? Two or three elders go use Bible correct us. Them go still encourage us and give us some advice from Bible. This advice go help us make we no sin again. They fit talk say we no go fit do some things way we de do before as Christian for some time until we dey strong again for our faith. But if person no gree stop the bad thing wey e de do, the elders go remove the person from the congregation to protect the congregation.
