Quick-quick, Mary run go meet Jesus and tell-am say: “Their wine don finish.” (John 2:1-3) Wetin Jesus do? E do something wey nobody ever expect, e change water to ‘better wine.’—John 2:9, 10.

If we count all of them, they go pass 27000 people wey Jesus give food. (Matt. 14:15-21; 15:32-38) For this two times, Jesus still heal plenty people for there wey de sick. (Matt. 14:14; 15:30, 31) Just think about how the people go don feel as Jesus use miracle give them food and still heal them!

⁴ The miracles wey Jesus do no de only teach us better lessons about Jesus but e still de teach us better lessons about Jehovah, because na Jehovah give Jesus the power wey e take do the miracles. Acts 10:38 talk say, ‘God anoint Jesus with holy spirit and power. Because God dey with-am, e go everywhere for the area, de do good and de heal everybody wey Devil de trouble.’ Still remember say, Jesus copy the way e Papa de think and feel for everything wey e talk and do, even for the miracles wey e do. 5. Wetin make Jesus do miracle? (Matthew 20:30-34)

⁵ Number one, Jesus and e Papa really love us. When Jesus dey this earth, e use e power help people wey de suffer, this one show say e really love people. One time, two men wey blind beg-am make e help them. (Read Matthew 20:30-34.) Bible talk say “Jesus feel pity for them” and heal them. The Greek word wey them translate as “feel pity,” describe the strong feeling wey person de feel when e see person wey de suffer. Na this kind strong feeling, wey show the kind love wey Jesus get for people, make Jesus do miracle to give people food and heal one man wey get leprosy. (Matt. 15:32; Mark 1:41) We dey sure say when we de suffer, e de pain Jehovah wey be the God wey de “show pity,” and e Son wey really love us. (Luke 1:78; 1 Pet. 5:7) True-true, e really de hungry them to remove all the problem wey de make us suffer!

6. Wetin Jehovah don give Jesus power to do?

⁶ Number two, God don give Jesus power to end all our problem. The miracles wey Jesus do show say e get the power to remove all the problems wey we no fit solve by ourself. For example, e miracles show say e get the power to remove the sin wey dey our body wey de make us sick and die. (Matt. 9:1-6; Rom. 5:12, 18, 19) E still show say e get the power to comot “all kind of sickness” and even bring people wey don die back to life. (Matt. 4:23; John 11:43, 44) Jesus get the power to control breeze wey fit scatter things and win demons. (Mark 4:37-39; Luke 8:2) E really de make us happy say Jehovah don give Jesus this kind power!

⁷ Number three, we fit dey sure with all our heart say the good things wey Jehovah promise us go happen for E Kingdom. The miracles  wey Jesus do when e dey this earth teach us say when e start to rule this earth for God Kingdom, the miracles wey e go do, go really plenty pass the ones wey e don do. Think about wetin we go soon de enjoy when Jesus start to rule this earth. We no go sick again because e go remove all sickness and other things wey de make us suffer. (Isa. 33:24; 35:5, 6; Rev. 21:3, 4) E go remove hunger. And things like heavy breeze, water and other things wey fit scatter house and property no go dey again. (Isa. 25:6; Mark 4:41) E go really sweet us to welcome our people wey don die back to life. (John 5:28, 29) Which miracle you go really like to see for paradise?

⁸ Anytime wey Jesus de do miracle, e always show say e carry body down and say e get pity for people. This na wetin we really need to copy. Make we see two example of miracles wey Jesus do wey show this one. We go start with the one wey e do for the wedding for Cana.

9. Wetin Jesus do for the wedding wey e attend for Cana? (John 2:6-10)

Just think how you go feel if drinks finish for your wedding. Jesus really feel for the family, especially for the man and woman wey de marry. Or so that the husband and wife go fit even sell the one wey remain and get some money after their wedding. This one go don make the husband and wife really happy.

¹¹ Wetin we fit learn from this miracle wey Jesus turn water to wine? We learn to de carry body down. Jesus no boast when e do this miracle. In fact, e no ever boast about anything wey e do. Instead, e de carry body down and e de always give e Papa the praise. (John 5:19, 30; 8:28) If we de carry body down like Jesus, we no go boast about anything wey we do. No matter wetin we de do for Jehovah organization, make we no boast about ourself, but make we always give the praise to God wey give us power to fit do the work. Jesus tell the people make them stop, and e do wetin really surprise the boy mama—Jesus bring the boy wey don die, back to life! Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John talk about three people wey Jesus bring back to life and this one na the first one.
