 AS JEHOVAH servants, we de preach to people because we love Jehovah and we want make them know Jehovah and come join us worship-am. Many of us really de enjoy the preaching work. But some of us, no too de enjoy-am. Why? Because some of us de quick shame and de feel say we no sabi teach well. E no de easy for some of us to go person house when them no invite us. Some de fear say people fit vex for them. For some people, as them de grow, them teach them say make them no de talk something wey fit make person vex. Even though say this brothers and sisters really love Jehovah, e no still dey easy for them to preach the good news to people wey them no know before. But because them know say this preaching work really dey important, them de do their best to preach. This one de really make Jehovah happy.

2. If sometimes e de hard you to enjoy preaching, why this one no suppose tire you?

² Sometimes, e de hard you to enjoy the preaching work because you de feel like the people wey we don talk about? If na so e be, make you no tire to de preach. The way you de feel show say you de carry body down and you no want do notice me. And say you no want argue with people. Nobody want make other people vex for-am, especially when e be say na good thing e de do. Know say your Papa for heaven know how you de feel and e want help you. (Isa. 41:13) For this article, we go talk about five things wey fit help you, so that you go de enjoy the preaching work.

ALLOW THE MESSAGE FROM BIBLE TO MAKE YOU STRONG

3. Wetin help prophet Jeremiah to fit preach to other people?

³ Since Bible time, the message from God don make im servants dey strong, to fit face hard time when them de do  the work wey Jehovah give them. Make we see the example of prophet Jeremiah. E fear, when Jehovah tell-am say make e go preach. E talk say: “I no know how to talk, because I be small boy.” (Jer. 1:6) Wetin help-am stop to de fear? Na the message wey Jehovah tell-am make e go preach, give-am strong mind. Jeremiah talk say: “Inside me, im word come be like fire wey them put inside my bone. And I tire to hold-am inside.” (Jer. 20:8, 9) Even though say the people wey Jeremiah preach to no like the message, the message make Jeremiah strong.

4. When we read Bible and think deep about wetin we learn, how this one go help us? (Colossians 1:9, 10)

⁴ The Word of God from Bible de make Christians strong. When apostle Paul write letter to the Christians for Colossae, e tell them say if them continue to learn more about Jehovah, this one go help them to fit “de live [their] life as people wey de serve Jehovah,” as them “continue to produce fruit for every good work.” (Read Colossians 1:9, 10.) The preaching work dey part of the good work wey apostle Paul talk about. So, when we read Bible and think deep about wetin we learn, this one go help our faith for Jehovah strong and help us understand more, why e dey important to preach the good news.

5. How we fit gain well-well, when we de read and study Bible?

⁵ To fit really gain from Bible, when we de read-am, study-am and think deep about-am, e go good make we no rush-am. Take your time, do-am. When you de read Bible and you meet one Bible verse wey you no understand, no just pass-am. Instead, you fit use Watch Tower Publications Index or Research Guide for Jehovah’s Witnesses for English, to understand the verse. If you no rush when you de study Bible, this one go help you to dey sure more-more say wetin Bible talk na true. (1 Thess. 5:21) The more you trust wetin Bible talk, the more you go de happy to tell other people wetin you learn from Bible.

TAKE TIME PREPARE, BEFORE YOU GO PREACH

6. Why e good make we take time prepare well, before we go preach?

⁶ If you take your time prepare well before you go preach, e go easy you to fit preach to people. Jesus prepare im disciples before e send them to go preach. (Luke 10:​1-11)  Because them follow wetin Jesus teach them, them help many other people become Jesus disciples and this one really make them happy as them de preach.—Luke 10:17.

⁸ Apostle Paul use one example help im brothers and sisters for Corinth to understand the work wey them de do. E talk say: “We get this thing wey get value for inside clay containers.” (2 Cor. 4:7) Wetin be this thing wey get value? Na the preaching work wey de save people life. (2 Cor. 4:1) And wetin be the clay containers? Na Jehovah servants wey de carry the message go preach to people. For the time of apostle Paul, business people de use clay pot carry things wey get value, like food, wine, and money. For the same way, Jehovah de use us carry better message wey get value well-well, make we go preach-am to people. With Jehovah help, we fit get the power wey we need to continue to preach.

PRAY MAKE JEHOVAH GIVE YOU STRONG MIND

9. Wetin fit help you stop to de fear people or fear say people no go want listen to the good news? (Still check the picture.)

⁹ Sometimes, we too fit de fear people or fear say people no go want listen to the good news. Wetin fit help us stop to de fear? Make we see wetin help the apostles when leaders for Jew people religion tell them say, make them stop to preach. Instead make them de fear, them pray to Jehovah say make e help them, so that them go “really get strong heart to continue to talk about [im] word.” Jehovah answer their prayer quick-quick. (Acts 4:​18, 29, 31) If we de fear to preach sometimes, we too fit pray to Jehovah make e help us.  Beg-am make e help you fit love people more, so that you no go fear to preach to them.

10. How Jehovah de help us to fit preach to people? (Isaiah 43:​10-12)

¹⁰ Jehovah don choose us to be im Witness and e promise us say e go help us get strong mind to fit preach. (Read Isaiah 43:​10-12.) Make we talk about four ways wey e de do this one. Number one, Jesus dey with us anytime wey we de preach. (Matt. 28:​18-20) Number two, Jehovah de use angels to help us. (Rev. 14:6) Number three, Jehovah don give us holy spirit to help us fit remember the things wey we don learn. (John 14:​25, 26) And number four, Jehovah don give us our brothers and sisters to help us as we de preach. With Jehovah help, and the support from our brothers and sisters, we get everything wey we need to fit succeed for the preaching work.

11. How we fit adjust for our preaching work to meet more people? (Still check the picture.)

¹¹ When you no meet many people for house when you de preach, e de make preaching tire you? Ask yourself say: ‘Where people for my territory dey now?’ (Acts 16:13) ‘Them don go market or them don go work?’ If na so, you fit preach to more people for street? Brother Joshua and im wife, de use the questions for the front of our tract them, when them want preach to people. For example, when them want use the tract wey the title na, Which Kind Book You Think Say Bible Be? them go talk say: “Some people de talk say Bible na book from God, but other people no believe-am. Wetin you think?” Plenty times, this one don help them fit preach to people.

13. Why we fit talk say we de succeed for our preaching work even when people no listen to us? (Proverbs 27:11)

 ¹³ If people wey we want preach to no gree listen to us, e no mean say we don fail. Why? Because we don do wetin Jehovah and im Son Jesus want make we do, wey be to preach. (Acts 10:42) Even when we no see people to preach to, or them no want listen to our message, we fit still happy because we know say we de make our Papa for heaven happy.—Read Proverbs 27:11.

14. Why we de happy when other brothers and sisters see person wey like our message?

¹⁴ We fit still happy when one brother or sister see person wey like our message and start to study Bible with-am. Watchtower don compare the preaching work to people wey de look for pikin wey lost. Na plenty people de join find-am for different-different place. When them see the pikin, na everybody go happy, no be only the person wey see-am. Na so e still be for our preaching work, na everybody for congregation de help Bible student become Jesus disciple. So we need everybody for congregation to join preach all our territory. And na everybody de happy when new person start to attend meeting.

PUT MIND FOR THE LOVE WEY YOU GET FOR JEHOVAH AND FOR PEOPLE

15. When we do wetin dey Matthew 22:​37-39, how e fit help us enjoy our preaching more-more? (Still check the picture for front cover.)

¹⁵ When we put mind for the love wey we get for Jehovah and for people, e go help us love the preaching work more. (Read Matthew 22:​37-39.) 16. Wetin we go do so that we go fit enjoy the preaching work even when we no fit comot for house? Give example.

¹⁶ Something happen wey make you no de fit comot for house? If your answer na yes, make you think about wetin you fit do to show say you love Jehovah and other people. For coronavirus time, one brother wey im name na Samuel, and im wife wey  im name na Dania, no fit comot for house. Even though say things hard for them, them use telephone preach to people, write letters, and use Zoom study Bible with people. Brother Samuel preach to people wey e meet for hospital when e de receive treatment for cancer. E talk say: “When we de face serious problem, we fit de worry, we fit tire, and our faith fit weak. So we need to do things wey go make us de happy as we de worship Jehovah.” As all this things de happen, Sister Dania fall and e no fit comot from bed for three months. And after three months, e start to use wheelchair and e use-am for six months. Sister Dania talk say: “I try do wetin I fit do to preach to people. I preach to one nurse wey come my house, and I preach to people wey bring the things wey we buy come our house. I still use phone preach to one woman for one company wey de sell hospital things.” Even though say Brother Samuel and im wife no fit do as them de do before, them do wetin them fit do for the preaching work and this one make them happy.

17. How you fit gain from all the things wey we talk about for this article?

¹⁷ Try follow all the five things wey we talk about for this article. Them be like the different-different things wey we de use cook one particular food, like salt, pepper, and other things. When we de cook the food, we need to put all the things wey them de use cook that food so that the food go sweet. When we do all the things wey we talk for this article, nothing go fit make preaching tire us and we go de enjoy the preaching work more-more.
