FAITH de really give us power. Faith no be just to believe the truth or agree say God dey, because even demons “still believe so, and de shake with fear.” (Jas. 2:19) So, wetin be faith?

(Num. 14:11; John 12:37) God’s holy spirit de produce faith for only the people wey their heart really love truth pass lie.​—Gal. 5:22; 2 Thess. 2:10, 11.

Some people for Bible get strong faith, one of them na King David. (Heb. 11:32, 33) But, no be everybody inside the family of David get strong faith. For example, one time dey wey Eliab, the oldest brother of David, show say e no get faith. When David vex because Goliath insult the God of Israel, Eliab talk say David get bad plan for mind. You fit get faith like David if your thinking and character be like the one wey Psalm 27 describe. (Ps. 1:2, 3) When you de study, take your time to think deep. Plant de grow well when they plant-am for better soil. (Heb. 10:23-25) Another thing be say, we de show say we get faith when we continue to “pray and . . . no tire.” (Luke 18:1-8) So, make you “de pray every time” to Jehovah, and trust say “e de care for [you].” (1 Thess. 5:17; 1 Pet. 5:7) Faith de push us make we do the right things. And when we de do the right things, our faith de grow more-more.​—Jas. 2:22.

(Rom. 8:32, 38, 39; Eph. 1:7) If you really believe say the ransom sacrifice fit help you, you no go de feel bad about yourself.​—2 Thess. 2:16, 17.

Second, use prayer to near Jehovah. The ransom sacrifice don make-am dey possible. Because Jesus die for us, we fit pray to Jehovah “with confidence, so that they fit pity us and show us favor to help us when we need help.” (Heb. 4:15, 16; 10:19-22) Prayer de help us make we fit make up our mind to fight temptation to sin.​—Luke 22:40.

Third, obey Jesus. Apostle John write say: “If person de show faith for the Son, e go live forever; if person no obey the Son, e no go see life, instead the anger of God go remain with the person.” (John 3:36) Notice wetin John talk. (Matt. 24:45) When you obey Jesus, you go fit endure any problem even if the problem come like strong breeze and heavy rain.​—Luke 6:47, 48.

One day, one man beg Jesus say: “I get faith! Help me make I know areas wey I need faith!” (Mark 9:24) The man be get faith, but e know say e need more faith. Like this humble man, all of us go meet situation for our life wey we go need more faith. All of us fit do something now to make our faith strong. We don see say when we study the Word of God and think deep about-am, we de make our faith strong, and our love for Jehovah de grow. Another thing be say, our faith go still grow more when we join our brothers and sisters to worship Jehovah together, tell other people about our hope, and no tire to pray. Apart from that one, when we make our faith strong, we go get one better benefit. Bible tell us say: “But wuna wey we love, make wuna continue to make wuna faith strong with the holy teachings . . . so that wuna go continue to do wetin go make God love wuna.”​—Jude 20, 21.
