Them dey happy and they get faith say Jehovah go give them all the things wey they really need. Jehovah go fail them? No! Why we dey sure of this one? ⁷ Abraham go need to trust Jehovah say e go protect-am and protect e family. Why? Remember say Abraham and Sarah comot from place wey dey safe and wey better life dey, for the city of Ur. E begin live for tents outside of Canaan. For this new place wey Abraham and e family de stay, no big wall and deep river to protect them. Instead, e dey easy for enemies to come attack them.

Even with that one, Bible talk say Abraham “live long and e happy with the way e live e life.” (Gen. 25:8) Even with all the problems wey Abraham face, e continue to get strong faith and e use all e heart wait for Jehovah. Why Abraham fit endure? Na because for all the time wey Abraham dey alive, Jehovah protect and treat Abraham as e friend.​—Gen. 15:1; Isa. 41:8; Jas. 2:22, 23.

 ¹² Like Abraham, we de wait for the city wey get correct foundation. But no be say we de wait make they build the city. Brother Bill talk about e whole life say: “I really dey happy and I de thank God anytime wey I think about the special chance wey I don get to serve Jehovah for more than 70 years. I de always thank Jehovah as e help me make I fit use my life do e work.” You don fit use your life serve Jehovah full-time?

14-15. Wetin you learn from the story of Brother and Sister Apostolidis?

¹⁴ No think say problem no go come. From the example of Abraham, we learn say even people wey de use their whole life serve Jehovah go face problem. (Jas. 1:2; 1 Pet. 5:9) The story of Brother Aristotelis Apostolidis * show say this one na true. This brother baptize for 1946 for Greece. And for 1952, e tell one sister wey e name na Eleni say make they marry. The two of them want serve Jehovah full time. But, Sister Eleni come sick and they find out say something de grow for inside e brain. Doctors remove the thing for the brain, but some years after they marry, the thing start to grow again. Doctors do another operation for the brain, but after, some part for e body stop to work. And e no come de talk well again. Sister Eleni continue to put all e heart for the preaching work, even as e de sick and as government de suffer Jehovah Witness people that time.

¹⁵ This brother care for e wife for 30 years. For the whole of this time, e serve as elder, e work for different-different assembly committee, and e help to build one Assembly Hall. Then, for 1987, Sister Eleni get serious injury when e dey for preaching. This sister dey for coma for three years, and after, e die. Brother Aristotelis talk for the end of e story say: “For many years, I face plenty problem and some of them na problem wey I no expect. But I ready myself to endure and I no allow anything make me weak. Even with all the problem wey I face, Jehovah always give me the power wey I need.” (Ps. 94:18, 19)  Jehovah really love us when we do everything wey we fit do to serve-am even when we de face problems!

¹⁶ Continue to think about future. Abraham think about the blessings wey e go get from Jehovah for future, and this one help Abraham to endure e problems. One sister wey e name na Audrey Hyde, try to always think about the hope wey e get for the future. The first husband wey e marry, wey e name na Nathan H. Knorr, die because of cancer. And the second husband wey e marry after, wey e name na Glenn Hyde, come get one serious sickness wey them de call Alzheimer’s disease. * This sister talk say the thing wey help-am na something wey Brother Knorr talk some weeks before e die. The sister say: “Nathan tell me say: ‘After we die, our hope dey sure, and we no go ever suffer pain again.’ Then e advice me say: ‘De think about the future, because na there you go get your blessing.’ . . .
