⁴ When we de attend our Christian meetings, we de show say we dey humble, we ready make Jehovah teach us, and e come from our heart to learn from Jehovah. For the evening wey we de do Memorial, we de attend this important meeting because we suppose to attend. And as humble people, we de obey wetin Jesus command us to do when e say: “Make wuna de do-am to remember me.” (Read 1 Corinthians 11:23-26.) That meeting de make the hope wey we get for future dey strong, and e de remind us of how Jehovah love us reach. Jehovah know say we need comfort and something wey go encourage us more than once every year. Na this one make Jehovah de arrange meetings for us every week, and e de encourage us to attend. We de obey because we dey humble. We de spend time every week to prepare for the meetings and attend them.

5. Why humble people de accept invitation from Jehovah?

⁵ Every year, Jehovah de invite people so that e go teach them, and many humble people de accept the invitation. (Isa. 50:4) Them de attend the Memorial first, and after, they go start to attend other meetings. (Zech. 8:20-23) We and this people de happy to learn from Jehovah, “[our] helper and [our] savior.” Na Jehovah de teach and guide all of us. (Ps. 40:17) True-true, we don get invitation to learn from Jehovah and Jesus Christ, the Son wey e love well-well. Anything fit dey important or sweet pass to accept this invitation?​—Matt. 17:5; 18:20; 28:20.

6. Because one man dey humble, how this one help the man attend Memorial?

⁶ Every year, we de try to invite many people to Memorial of Jesus death, as we fit. Many humble people don benefit as they accept the invitation. See one example. Some years ago, one brother give one man Memorial invitation. The man collect-am even though e tell our brother say e no sure say e go come. But, for the night of the Memorial, the brother surprise as e see the man de enter Kingdom Hall. Our brothers and sisters greet and treat the man well. And this one really touch the man sotey e start to attend meetings every week. In fact, na only three meetings the man miss for one whole year. Wetin help the man to decide say e go de attend all the meeting? The man change e mind because e humble well-well. After, the brother wey invite the man talk say, “This man really dey humble.” True-true, na Jehovah draw this man to e worship. And now, the man don baptize as one of our brother.​—2 Sam. 22:28; John 6:44.

7. How the things wey we de read for Bible and learn for meetings fit help us dey humble?

⁷ The things wey we de learn for our meetings and wey we de read for Bible fit make us dey humble. Jesus show us better example and e come die for us because e dey humble. Some weeks before the Memorial, na this fine example of Jesus we de always talk about for our meetings. And some days before the Memorial, e go good if we fit read about the things wey connect with the death and resurrection of Jesus. Things wey we de learn for those meetings and wey we de read for those Bible portion, de make us value the sacrifice of Jesus more-more. This one de move us to dey humble like Jesus and do wetin Jehovah want, even when e hard us.​—Luke 22:41, 42.

8. How Jesus show strong heart?

⁸ We still de try to imitate Jesus as e get strong heart. Think about the kind strong heart wey Jesus show say e get some days before e die. E really know wetin e enemies go do. They go disgrace, beat, and kill Jesus. (Matt. 20:17-19) Even as e know, e still dey ready to die. When the time reach, e tell the faithful apostles wey them dey together for Gethsemane say: “Stand up, make we go. See! Person wey go betray me don almost reach here.” (Matt. 26:36, 46) And when the people wey carry weapon come arrest Jesus, e come out go meet them, and tell the soldiers to allow e apostles make they go. (John 18:3-8) This one really show say Jesus get strong heart! Today, anointed Christians and the other sheep de try to show strong heart like Jesus. How?

9. (a) Why we need strong heart to fit de attend meeting everytime? (b) How our example de affect our brothers wey they put for prison because of their faith?

⁹ To fit attend meetings everytime, we go need to show say we get strong heart when we de face problem. Some of our brothers and sisters de attend meetings even when them de face different-different problem like, hard time, sickness, or their person die. Others de show strong heart and de attend meetings even when their family or government de trouble them. Just take small time think about how our example de help our brothers and sisters wey they put for prison because of their faith. (Heb. 13:3) When they hear say we continue to serve Jehovah even with all the trouble wey we de face, e de give them power to continue to get faith, show strong heart, and hold Jehovah tight. Apostle Paul experience be like that. When e dey prison for Rome, e de glad anytime e hear say e brothers de serve God well. (Phil. 1:3-5, 12-14) Small time before or after they release Paul, e write letter to Hebrew brothers. For the letter, e encourage faithful Christians “make [they] continue to love [their] brothers” and make they always de meet together.​—Heb. 10:24, 25; 13:1.

¹⁰ We de show say we get strong heart when we invite our family members, neighbors, and workmates to Memorial. Why we de invite this people? We want make they come learn how they go still benefit from the “surplus favor” wey Jehovah use the ransom show us.​—Read Ephesians 1:7; Rev. 22:17.

Another thing be say, our heart de move us to praise Jehovah for the ransom wey e give us. One way wey we fit praise Jehovah na when we de use all our heart give comment for our meetings.

13. Wetin we fit do to show how our love for Jehovah and Jesus deep reach? Explain.

¹³ When e come from our heart to leave anything because of Jehovah and Jesus, we de show how our love for them deep reach. Many times, e get different-different things wey we need to leave to fit attend meetings. For example, many congregation de do their midweek meeting for evening when we fit don tire because of work. And them de do the other meeting for weekend when other people de rest. Jehovah de see as we de struggle to attend meetings even though say we tire? Yes, e de see-am! The truth be say, Jehovah de see everything wey we de do to fit attend our meetings, and e really value-am.​—Mark 12:41-44.

14. How we fit imitate Jesus to de think about wetin go favor other people before our own?

¹⁴ Jesus love people and e think about wetin go favor them before e own. This one na better example for us to follow. E dey ready to die for e disciples, and the way e live e life show say e de think about wetin go favor e disciples before e own. For example, e dey with e disciples even when e tire well-well and when e dey under stress. (Luke 22:39-46) Jesus put mind for wetin e fit give people, instead of wetin e go fit get from them. (Matt. 20:28) When our love for Jehovah and for our brothers strong like that, we go do everything wey we fit do to attend Memorial, and all other Christian meetings.

15. Which kind people be the main people wey we go really like to help?

 ¹⁵ All of us na one Christian family, and e de sweet us to use our time as we fit, to invite new ones to join us. But the main people wey we go really like to help na “people wey them dey the same faith with us,” but now they no de preach again or come meeting. (Gal. 6:10) We fit show this people love when we encourage them to attend meetings, especially Memorial. Like Jehovah and Jesus, we de really glad when one of this people return to Jehovah, our Papa and our Shepherd.​—Matt. 18:14.
