⁵ We know say Jehovah really want help us with our problems because e promise e people say: “When you pass inside water I go dey with you; and when you pass inside river, e no go cover you. ⁷ The second promise wey Isaiah write na: ‘Make you no worry, I be your God.’ Wetin worry-worry mean for this verse? (Isa. 41:2-4) That time, when the people of Babylon and people for other places see say their enemy de come, they try to make their heart strong. So they tell each other say: “Make you dey strong.” They still make more idols as gods, with the mind say this gods go protect them. (Isa. 41:5-7) But Jehovah make the heart of the Jews dey strong. E tell them say: “You, O Israel, you be my servant [you no be like this other people]. . . . No worry, I be your God.” (Isa. 41:8-10) Notice the thing wey Jehovah talk: “I be your God.” Jehovah talk this one because e no want make e servants de worry. So e make them know say e never forget them. They go continue to be e people, and e go continue to be their God. E tell them say: “I go carry you, . . . and I go save you.” This things wey Jehovah talk go don comfort the Jews for Babylon and make them dey strong.​—Read Isaiah 46:3, 4.

9-10. Why we no need to fear? Give example.

⁹ Na for this our time people around us de worry pass any other time because things for the world de bad more-more. And the truth be say, the problems for the world still de affect us. But we no really need to fear. Jehovah tell us say: “I be your God.” This thing wey Jehovah talk na strong reason for us make we no worry. Why?

¹⁰ See this example: Two passengers dey inside aeroplane. Their name na Jim and Ben. Then, strong breeze start to shake the plane. As the breeze de move the plane up and down, one voice announce to the passengers say: “Make everybody wear e seat belt. As we de go, this breeze go de shake the plane for some time.” Jim begin de fear. Then the pilot continue to talk. E say:  “Make wuna no worry. Na wuna pilot de talk.” But Jim shake e head, and talk say, “This man know wetin e de talk so?” But when Jim look Ben, e see say Ben no worry at all. Then Jim ask say: “Why you no de fear?” Ben smile and talk say: “Because I know this pilot well-well. Na my papa!” Then Ben talk say: “Make I tell you about my papa. I sure say when I tell you finish, and you know wetin e fit do, you no go fear again.”

¹¹ Which lessons we learn from this example? Like Ben, we no de worry because we know Jehovah well-well. The problems wey we de face for this last days fit be like storm (strong breeze with rain, thunder and lightning). But we know say our Papa for heaven go carry us pass all of them. (Isa. 35:4) We trust Jehovah, so we no go worry even if fear de catch other people. (Isa. 30:15) We still be like Ben, when we de tell our neighbors why they need to trust God. E promise us say: “No matter the weapon wey they make to attack you, no one go work.” (Isa. 54:17) This thing wey Jehovah talk remind us of three important truth wey we go talk about.

14. Why we no surprise say enemies of God de attack us?

¹⁴ Number one, we expect people to hate us because we de follow Jesus. (Matt. 10:22) Jesus talk say for the last days, people go suffer e disciples well-well. (Matt. 24:9; John 15:20) Number two, the thing wey Isaiah talk say go happen de give us warning say our enemies no go only hate us, they go do pass that one. They go still use different-different things or weapon fight us. They fit paint their lie make e be like truth. They fit talk direct lie, and suffer us with harsh punishment.
