But when Jesus see wetin de happen, e sofri correct Martha. E help Martha see say no be everytime person need to prepare plenty things. (Luke 10:40-42) After, just some hours before Jesus go give e life as sacrifice, e follow the advice wey e give Martha. E make sure say the things wey we go de use do Memorial dey simple. 5. Wetin we learn about Jesus from the way the Memorial dey simple, and how this one match with wetin dey for Philippians 2:5-8?

6. How we fit imitate the way Jesus dey humble when we de face problem?

⁶ How we fit dey humble like Jesus? Make we de think about wetin go favor other people before we think about ourself. (Phil. 2:3, 4) Think about wetin happen for the night before Jesus die. E know say small time e go suffer and die. But one thing wey e really worry about na how the apostles go feel when e die. E go pain them and they go  cry. So for the night before e die, e spend time de teach and encourage them. (John 14:25-31) Jesus show us say na wetin go favor other people e de think about pass anything wey e go gain. 7. Wetin Jesus do to show say e really get strong heart after e start the Lord’s Evening Meal?

⁷ Just after Jesus start the Lord’s Evening Meal, e show the kind strong heart wey e get. How? Jesus know say e go die as person wey insult God because of the lie wey they go put for e head. Even with that one, e still agree to do wetin e Father want. (Matt. 26:65, 66; Luke 22:41, 42) Jesus no stop to do wetin e Father want till e die. Why? Because e want make the name of Jehovah dey holy, e want show say God de rule for the right way, and e give any person wey repent the chance to live forever. Apart from this one, Jesus still prepare e disciples for wetin they go soon face.

(John 15:12-15) Jesus still tell the apostles the trouble wey they go face for future. Then e talk about e own example and encourage  them say make they “no fear!” (John 16:1-4a, 33) After many years, the disciples still de follow the better example wey Jesus show them. Them de think about wetin go favor other people before they think about theirself, and they show strong heart. When they face different-different trouble, they support each other even though say e make them suffer.​—Heb. 10:33, 34.

9. How we fit show strong heart like Jesus?

⁹ Today too, we de show strong heart like Jesus. For example, them de suffer our brothers because of their faith. But we de help them because we get strong heart. Sometimes, they fit put our brothers for prison for nothing. When e happen like that, we must do everything wey we fit do to help them, even if na to defend them. (Phil. 1:14; Heb. 13:19) Another way wey we fit show say we no de fear na when we continue to preach “with strong heart.” (Acts 14:3) Like Jesus, we dey ready to preach the message about the Kingdom of God, even though say people de fight us and de suffer us. But sometimes, we fit see say we no get strong heart. Wetin we go do?

10. For the weeks before the Memorial, wetin we suppose to do, and why?

¹⁰ When we de think about the hope wey we get because Jesus die for us, our heart go de strong more-more. (John 3:16; Eph. 1:7) The way we value the ransom sacrifice go fit de grow more-more. And we get special chance to make-am grow some weeks before the Memorial. When that time reach, de follow the Memorial Bible reading and take time de think deep about the things wey connect with the death of Jesus. Then when we gather for the Memorial, we go understand more the meaning of the bread and wine and why we de use  them for the special sacrifice. E good make we understand the thing wey Jesus and Jehovah don do for us, and understand how e benefit us and people wey we love. When we understand this one, our hope for the future go de strong more-more, and we go get reason to endure with strong heart go reach the end.​—Heb. 12:3.

11-12. Wetin we don learn?

¹¹ We don learn say, the Memorial no de only remind us about the precious sacrifice of Jesus Christ. But, e still de make us remember two fine character wey Jesus get, e dey humble and e get strong heart. As our High Priest, Jesus de beg for us and e continue to show this fine-fine character. This one de make us happy well-well! (Heb. 7:24, 25) To show say we dey happy, we no go fail to always remember the death of Jesus, as e command make we de do. 13. How John 15:9 and 1 John 4:8-10 describe the love wey Jehovah and Jesus show. and which people de benefit from their love?

¹³ Jesus do many things when e dey this earth. This things wey e do make us see the kind deep love wey Jehovah get for us. (Read John 15:9; 1 John 4:8-10.) The one wey dey important pass be say, nobody force Jesus to die for us, e come from e heart. Jehovah and e Son use this sacrifice to show us say they love us. So whether we be anointed or “other sheep,” we de benefit from this love. (John 10:16; 1 John 2:2) And, think about the things wey we de use for the Memorial meeting. This things show say Jesus love e disciples and e de think about the way them de feel. How?

14. Wetin Jesus do to show say e love e disciples?

¹⁴ When Jesus start the Memorial, e no do-am with plenty things. Instead, e make-am dey simple for e followers to fit do. This one show say Jesus love the anointed ones. As time de go, this anointed disciples go need to do the Memorial every year no matter the condition, even if na for prison. (Rev. 2:10) They fit do wetin Jesus talk? Yes, they do-am!

¹⁵ From the time of the apostles come reach our time, true Christians don try to always remember the death of Jesus. They do-am the way Jesus say make they do-am, as they fit. They do-am even when the condition no dey easy. One example na about Brother Harold King. They put only the brother for one prison for China. But e try do wetin e fit do to remember the death of Jesus. E use the things wey e get to prepare the bread and wine, and e no allow people notice wetin e de do. ¹⁶ Another example na about some sisters wey they put for concentration camp for the time of World War II. This sisters risk their life to do Memorial. They talk for their report say: “We stand together, and form circle round one small table. We use  white cloth cover the table and put the bread and wine on-top. And we see the love wey Jesus get, because the Memorial arrangement allow us to fit do-am even when the condition hard!

17. Which questions we fit ask ourself?

¹⁷ As Memorial day de reach, e good make we ask ourself this questions: ‘How I fit de show love more-more like Jesus? I de think more about wetin my brothers and sisters need pass the way I de think about my own? I de expect my brothers and sisters to do wetin pass their power? E no go good if I know wetin they fit do and wetin they no fit do?’ Make we de always do like Jesus and “de feel for one another.”​—1 Pet. 3:8.
