E even de pain us more if e suffer before e die. As time de go, we go happy when we remember somethings wey e teach us, wetin e talk or do to make us laugh or encourage us.

² Na so e still be when we de read about how Jesus suffer and die, e no de make us happy. For Memorial time, we de take time think about how the sacrifice of Jesus dey important reach. (1 Cor. 11:24, 25) But e de make us happy when we think about wetin Jesus talk and do when e dey this earth. E still de make us happy when we think about wetin e de do now and wetin e go do for us for future. When we de think about all this things and the way e love us, e go move us to do things wey go show say we value the love wey e show us. For this article we go talk about some of this things.

3. Wetin Jehovah and Jesus don do for us wey we really value?

³ When we think about the life wey Jesus live for this earth and as e die for us, e de move us to do our best for the Kingdom. When Jesus dey this earth, e teach people about wetin  God Kingdom go do. We love wetin Bible teach us about Jesus sacrifice and wetin we fit gain as Jesus die for us. We happy say the sacrifice of Jesus make-am possible for us to fit be Jehovah and Jesus friend. People wey put faith for Jesus get the hope say they go live forever for God Kingdom and God go bring their people wey don die back to life. (John 5:28, 29; Rom. 6:23) No be wetin we do go make God bless us with all this things, and no matter wetin we do, we no go ever fit pay for all this blessing. (Rom. 5:8, 20, 21) But we go fit show Jehovah and Jesus say we really value wetin them do for us. How?

4. How Mary Magdalene show say e value wetin Jesus do for-am? (Check the picture.)

⁴ For example, think about Mary Magdalene wey be Jew person. E really suffer for the hand of seven demon wey worry-am. Because of this problem, Mary Magdalene fit don think say no hope for-am again. How you think say e go feel when Jesus free-am from the demons? True-true, e really happy. This one make-am become Jesus disciple and e use e time, power and things wey e get support Jesus preaching work. (Luke 8:1-3) Na true say Mary really value wetin Jesus do for-am, but e fit be say e no know say the one wey Jesus go soon do for-am go better pass the one wey e don already do. Jesus go use e life pay for everybody sin, “so that anybody wey continue to get faith for-am” go get life wey no go end. (John 3:16) Mary no ever leave Jesus because e value wetin Jesus do for-am. When them nail Jesus for pole, Mary no comot for there because e really care about Jesus and e want encourage other people wey dey there. (John 19:25) And after Jesus die, Mary and two other women take some oil go the tomb wey Jesus body dey so that them go rub-am oil. (Mark 16:1, 2) Jehovah really bless Mary for the things wey e do. After Jehovah bring Jesus  back to life, people wey see Jesus no plenty but Mary dey among them.—John 20:11-18.

5. How we fit show say we value wetin Jehovah and Jesus don do for us?

⁵ We too go fit show say we value all the things wey Jehovah and Jesus don do for us. How? We go use our time, power and money support the work wey Jehovah organization de do. For example, we fit support construction work and the maintenance work wey our organization de do.

6. Why we fit talk say the sacrifice of Jesus na gift to us one by one?

⁶ We de love Jehovah and Jesus when we think about the love wey them show us. (1 John 4:10, 19) We even de love them more when we see say Jesus die for each one of us. Apostle Paul feel the same way, na e make-am write say: “The Son of God, . . . love me and sacrifice e life for me.” (Gal. 2:20) Because Jesus die for us, Jehovah don draw you near body so that you go fit be e friend. (John 6:44) When you think about-am, e no de make you happy say Jehovah see better thing about you and say e pay the biggest price so that you go fit be e friend? This one no de make you love Jehovah and Jesus more-more? E dey important make we ask ourself say, ‘Wetin that love go move me to do?’

7. As e dey for the picture, how we fit show our love for Jehovah and Jesus? (2 Corinthians 5:14, 15; 6:1, 2)

⁷ The love wey we get for God and Christ de move us to love other people. (Read 2 Corinthians 5:14, 15; 6:1, 2.) One way we de do this one na to de preach with all our heart. And na everybody wey we see we de preach to, whether the person rich or poor, e go school or e no go, and no matter where the person come from. As we de  preach like this, we de work with Jehovah to make wetin e want happen. Because Jehovah ‘want make all kind of people get life and make they come learn the correct teaching about the truth.’—1 Tim. 2:4.

8. How we fit show say we love our brothers and sisters?

⁸ We still de show say we love Jehovah and Jesus when we show love to our brothers and sisters. (1 John 4:21) We go show say we care for them and support them when them de face problem. We go comfort them when their person die, we go visit them when them de sick, and we go encourage them when their condition no make them happy. (2 Cor. 1:3-7; 1 Thess. 5:11, 14) We go always pray for them because we know say “the prayer of righteous person get power.”—Jas. 5:16.

9. Wetin be another way we fit show say we love our brothers and sisters?

⁹ Another thing be say, when we do our best to live in peace with our brothers and sisters, we de show say we love them. We de try copy the way Jehovah de forgive people. If Jehovah fit allow e Son die for our sin, we no go fit forgive our brothers and sisters when them do wetin vex us? We no want be like the wicked slave wey Jesus talk about for one of e example. Even after e master don cancel the plenty money wey e de owe-am, the slave no gree cancel the small one wey another slave owe-am. (Matt. 18:23-35) If person for congregation don make you vex, you go fit meet the person and make peace with-am before Memorial? Make you be the first to make peace. (Matt. 5:23, 24) This one go show say you love Jehovah and Jesus no be small.

10-11. How elders fit show say they love Jehovah and Jesus? (1 Peter 5:1, 2)

¹⁰ How elders fit show say they love Jehovah and Jesus? One way na to care for Jesus sheep. (Read 1 Peter 5:1, 2.) With wetin Jesus tell Peter, e clear say e really dey important to care for E sheep. After Peter deny Jesus three times, e fit be say e dey Peter mind to do anything wey e fit to show Jesus say e really love-am. After Jehovah bring Jesus back to life, Jesus ask Peter say: “Simon son of John, you love me?” We know say Peter go want do e best to show say e love Jesus. So Jesus tell Peter say: “Feed my small-small sheep.” (John 21:15-17) And from that time, Peter do e best to care for Jesus sheep, to show e love for Jesus.

One way to show say wuna love Jehovah and Jesus na to always shepherd Jesus sheep and even do more to help inactive people serve Jehovah again. (Ezek. 34:11, 12) Wuna fit still try encourage Bible students and new people wey come Memorial. We want make them feel free when them come, because we hope say one day, they go become servants of Jehovah.

12. When we think about wetin Jesus talk the night before e die, why e de give us strong heart? (John 16:32, 33)

¹² The night before Jesus die, e tell e disciples say: “For this world, wuna go de get plenty trouble, but no fear! I don win the world.” (Read John 16:32, 33.) Wetin help Jesus continue to worship Jehovah well even when e enemy them, want kill-am? E trust Jehovah. Jesus beg Jehovah make e care for e disciples because e know say they  go face the kind problem wey e face. (John 17:11) Why this one make our mind come down? Na because Jehovah strong pass anybody wey dey against our work. (1 John 4:4) E de see everything wey de happen to e servants. We dey sure say if we trust Jehovah, e go help us get strong heart.

13. How Joseph wey come from Arimathea show say e get strong heart?

¹³ Make we talk about the example of Joseph wey come from Arimathea. Na Jew person wey get high position. And na member of Sanhedrin wey be the supreme court of Jew people. But before Jesus die, Joseph de fear well-well. Na e make John talk say: “Because [Joseph] de fear Jew people, e no let people know say e be [Jesus] disciple.” (John 19:38) Even though say Joseph like the message of God Kingdom, e no want make people know say e put faith for Jesus. E de fear say people no go respect-am again if they know say e na disciple of Jesus. But Bible tell us say after Jesus die, “[Joseph] no fear, e go ask Pilate for Jesus body.” (Mark 15:42, 43) So Joseph no hide-am again say e na Jesus disciple.

14. Wetin you go do if you de fear wetin people go talk because you be Jehovah servant?

¹⁴ Wetin happen to Joseph don ever happen to you? You de shame to let people know say you be Jehovah Witness for your school or your working place? You de delay to become publisher or baptize because you de fear wetin other people go talk about you? Make you no allow this kind fear stop you to do the correct thing wey go make Jehovah happy. Use all your heart pray to Jehovah. Beg-am make e give you the mind to fit do wetin go make-am happy. As you de see how Jehovah de answer your prayer, e go make you de strong more-more.—Isa. 41:10, 13.

15. After Jesus show e self to e disciples, wetin this one move them to do? (Luke 24:52, 53)

¹⁵ Jesus disciples no happy at all when Jesus die. How you go feel if to say you dey among them? As their friend die, e make them feel say them no get hope again. (Luke 24:17-21) After Jehovah bring Jesus back to life, e show e self to e disciples and explain to them how wetin happen to-am make wetin Bible don talk, happen. And e still give them important work to do. (Luke 24:26, 27, 45-48) Forty days after, when Jesus de go back to heaven, e disciples no feel bad  again, but them don start to happy. They really happy as they know say their master dey alive and ready to help them to fit do the work wey e give them. ¹⁶ How we fit copy Jesus disciples? We go fit de happy as we de worship Jehovah, no be only for Memorial time but for the whole year. How? We go make God Kingdom be number one thing for our life. For example, plenty people don arrange their time so that they go fit preach more, attend meeting, and no miss family worship. Some brothers and sisters don make up their mind say they go live simple life to fit do more work for congregation or go where they need more publishers. Na true say we need to de endure so that we go fit continue to worship Jehovah well, but Jehovah don promise say e go bless us if na the Kingdom be number one thing for our life.—Prov. 10:22; Matt. 6:32, 33.
