 YOU go agree say the sacrifice of Jesus na special gift! (2 Cor. 9:15) Because Jesus die for all of us, we fit get better friendship with Jehovah. This one make-am possible for us to fit live forever. We get plenty reasons to show say we value wetin Jehovah don do for us as e send im pikin to die for us. (Rom. 5:8) To help us continue to de value this sacrifice, Jesus command us to de do the Memorial of im death every year.—Luke 22:​19, 20.

² This year, we go do the Memorial on Saturday, April 12, 2025. We know say all of us de plan to attend. Some weeks before and after the Memorial, if we take time to think deep a about wetin Jehovah and Jesus don do for us, we go really gain. For this article, we go talk about wetin Jesus sacrifice teach us about Jehovah and im Son. For the next article, we go learn how we fit gain from Jesus sacrifice and how we fit show say we value-am.

 3. How the sacrifice of one perfect person fit free millions of people from sin and death? (Still check the picture.)

³ The sacrifice of Jesus teach us say Jehovah de judge for the correct way. (Deut. 32:4) Why we talk like that? Think of this one: When Adam disobey God, e become sinner and e die. Because we be im children, we too de sin and die. (Rom. 5:12) Jehovah send Jesus to sacrifice im life for us so that we go free from sin and death. But how the sacrifice of one perfect person go fit free millions of people from sin and death? Apostle Paul talk say: “Just because of one man wey no obey, many people become sinners, na so too, because of the one person wey obey, many people go dey righteous.” (Rom. 5:19; 1 Tim. 2:6) This one show say because of one perfect man wey no obey God, all of us de sin and die. So one perfect man wey obey God, come free us from sin and death.

 4. Why Jehovah no just allow Adam children wey obey-am to live forever?

⁴ Jehovah really need to send Jesus to die for us? Why E no just allow Adam children wey obey-am to live forever? Because we no dey perfect, we fit think say this one for be better way to solve the problem wey Adam cause. But because Jehovah dey perfect, this one no be the correct way to judge the matter. If Jehovah judge the matter like this, e go be like say Adam no commit serious sin and say im children no be sinners. But no be so e be.

 5. Why we dey sure say Jehovah go always do wetin correct?

⁵ How e for be if Jehovah no send Jesus to die for us, and e no judge the matter for the correct way, but e just allow Adam children wey no dey perfect to live forever? If e do like that, people fit think say e no go judge for the correct way for other matter too. For example, some people fit no believe say e go do all the things wey e don promise. But we no de worry say this one fit happen. We fit talk like this because Jehovah judge this matter for the correct way even though say e no easy for-am to sacrifice im own Son for us. This one show say Jehovah go always do wetin correct.

 6. Which other character make Jehovah send Jesus to die for us? (1 John 4:9, 10)

⁶ E get another character wey make Jehovah send Jesus to die for us. Na the love wey e get for us. (John 3:16; read 1 John 4:9, 10.) Jehovah send Jesus to die for us because E want make we live forever and  dey part of im family. When Adam sin, e stop to be part of Jehovah family. Because of this one, when them born us, we no be part of Jehovah family. But because Jesus die for us, we know say everybody wey get faith for Jehovah and obey-am go fit become part of im family one day. But even now, Jehovah fit forgive our sins and we fit enjoy better friendship with-am and with our brothers and sisters. True-true, Jehovah really love us!—Rom. 5:​10, 11.

 7. As Jesus suffer well-well to fit pay for our sin, wetin this one teach us about the love wey Jehovah get for us?

⁷ We fit understand how Jehovah really love us when we think about the pain wey e feel as e see Jesus de suffer and die for us. Satan talk say nobody go hold God tight when e hard for them to obey. To show say wetin Satan talk na lie, Jehovah allow Jesus make e suffer till e die. (Job 2:​1-5; 1 Pet. 2:21) Jehovah see as people de laugh Jesus, as soldiers de beat-am, and when them nail-am for pole. Jehovah still see Jesus as e suffer well-well until e die. (Matt. 27:​28-31, 39) Jehovah get the power to stop all this things wey happen. For example when people talk say: “Make God come save-am now if e want-am,” Jehovah for fit do-am. (Matt. 27:​42, 43) But if to say Jehovah do like that, Jesus for no fit sacrifice im life to free us from our sin, and we for no get hope. So Jehovah allow im Son to suffer until e die.

 8. How we take know say e really pain Jehovah to see as Jesus de suffer? (Still check the picture.)

⁸ Make we no think say because God na almighty, e no get feelings. Jehovah make us to get feelings and Bible talk say Jehovah make us for im image, so this one mean say Jehovah get feelings too. E even get time wey Bible talk say Jehovah “feel bad.” (Ps. 78:​40, 41) Think about wetin happen to Abraham and Isaac. Jehovah tell Abraham make e sacrifice im only son. (Gen. 22:​9-12; Heb. 11:​17-19) Just think about how e go don pain Abraham when e de ready to kill im own pikin.  9. Wetin Romans 8:​32, 38, 39 help you understand about the kind love wey Jehovah get for you and for other brothers and sisters?

⁹ Jesus sacrifice teach us say nobody love us pass the way Jehovah love us. The love wey our tight friend or family member get for us, no near the love wey Jehovah get for us. (Read Romans 8:​32, 38, 39.) We fit beat our chest say Jehovah love us even pass the way we love ourself. You go like live forever? If your answer na yes, Jehovah want this one  for you pass the way you even want-am. You go like make Jehovah forgive your sins? Jehovah really want forgive you pass the way you even want-am. 11. How Jesus show say e really love people? (John 13:1)

¹¹ Jesus sacrifice still teach us say e really care about people, especially people wey be im disciples. (Prov. 8:31; read John 13:1.) For example, Jesus know say some things wey e go do for earth go really hard, especially the way e go die. But Jesus do all this things because e really love people, no be just because Jehovah tell-am make e do them. Jesus show say e really love people as e preach to them, teach them, and help them. Even for the day wey Jesus die, Jesus take time wash im apostles leg, teach them, encourage them, and  comfort them. (John 13:​12-15) Then, when Jesus de suffer for the torture pole, e give one criminal hope as e tell-am say e go dey with-am for Paradise and Jesus still show say e care for im mama as e tell John to care for-am. (Luke 23:​42, 43; John 19:​26, 27) But no be only Jesus sacrifice show say e love us, everything wey e do for im life really show this one.

12. Wetin Jesus de do for us now?

¹² Na true say Jesus die “once and for all,” but Jesus still de do many things for us. (Rom. 6:10) Wetin be some things wey Jesus de do for us now? Jesus de work to give us the better-better things wey we fit enjoy now because of im sacrifice. For example e de serve as our King, High Priest, and head of the congregation. (1 Cor. 15:25; Eph. 5:23; Heb. 2:17) Na Jesus still dey in charge of the work to gather the anointed and the other sheep, and this work go finish before the great tribulation go end. b (Matt. 25:32; Mark 13:27) Jesus still de use the faithful slave to give us the spiritual food wey we need to fit continue to serve Jehovah well for this last days. (Matt. 24:45) And Jesus go continue to do things for us when e go rule us for 1000 years. True-true, Jehovah really give Jesus to us!

¹³ You fit continue to de learn about the love wey Jehovah and Jesus get for us if you de think deep about the things wey them don do for us. For the weeks before and after the Memorial this year, you fit take time study any of the Bible book of Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John. You no need to read many-many chapters at once. Instead, make you take time de read small-small so that you go fit see more reasons to love Jehovah and Jesus. And make sure say you tell other people about the things wey you don learn.

14. How research fit help us continue to learn about Jesus sacrifice and other things wey Bible de teach? (Psalm 119:97) (Still check the picture.)

¹⁴ If you don de serve Jehovah for many-many years, you fit de wonder if e get anything wey you never learn about the way Jehovah de judge, the love wey e get for us, and the sacrifice of im Son. The truth be say, we go always get plenty new things  wey we fit learn about this topics and other topics for Bible. So wetin you fit do? Make you de read and study the plenty things wey we get for our books. When you read something for Bible wey you no really understand, make you do research. Throughout that day, continue to de think deep about wetin you don learn about Jehovah, im Son, and the love wey them get for you.—Read Psalm 119:97.

15. Why e dey important to continue to learn new things from Bible?

¹⁵ Make you no tire if you no learn new thing everytime wey you read or do research. You just be like person wey de look for gold. Many times, when person de look for gold, e fit spend many-many hours or even days before e go fit see even small gold. But the person no de tire, e de sofri continue to look for-am because even the one wey small well-well dey very important to-am. But the truth be say, any new thing wey we learn from Bible, even dey important pass gold! (Ps. 119:127; Prov. 8:10) So continue to de read the Bible and de learn new things from-am.—Ps. 1:2.

16. How we fit copy Jehovah and Jesus example?

¹⁶ As you de study, de think about how you go fit do wetin you de learn. For example you fit copy the way Jehovah de judge for correct way when you no de do partial. You fit copy the love wey Jesus get for im Papa and for other people, if you ready to suffer for Jehovah name and to help other people even if e go make things hard for you sometimes. ¹⁷ The more we de learn about Jesus sacrifice, the more our love for Jehovah and Jesus go de grow. And as our love for them de grow, their love for us go de grow too.
