Apostle Paul write about e self and some other people for congregation, say: “We de work with God.” (1 Cor. 3:9) This one na really special thing wey Jehovah and Jesus allow us to do, even as we no dey perfect!

4. Wetin we fit learn from the example of Ivan and Matilde?

⁴ The work to make disciple fit really give us joy. Make we talk about the example of Ivan and e wife, Matilde, for Colombia. They preach to one young man wey e name na Davier. The young man tell them say: “I want change my life, but I no fit.” Davier na boxer, e de take hard drugs, e de overdrink, and e de live with e girlfriend wey e name na Erika. 5. Wetin be the first thing wey we need to do if we want make disciples?

⁵ Some people dey ready to learn about Jehovah. So if we want make disciples, the first thing wey we must do na to “find” this kind people. (Matt. 10:11) We de show say we really be Jehovah Witness when we preach to everybody for our territory. We de show say we be true Christians when we de obey the command of Jesus to go preach.

6. Wetin go fit help us succeed for our preaching work?

⁶ Some people really want learn the truth, but many of them wey we meet for the first time fit do like say they no care about the message. We fit need to encourage them so that they go want learn more. For us to succeed for our preaching work, we need to prepare well. Select topics wey the people wey you go meet go fit like. Then make you plan how you go start to talk about that topic with them.

Abeg, I like to hear the thing wey you think about-am.” Then discuss Deuteronomy 6:6, 7 with the person. No matter the topic wey you want discuss with people, think about the people wey you want  discuss-am with. Make you think about how they go benefit if they learn the things wey Bible really teach. When you de talk with them, na important thing for you to listen to them and respect how them de see things. If you do like that, you go fit understand them well. You go still get more opportunity to talk with them and they fit listen.

8. Why e good make we continue to try de make return visit?

⁸ Before person go decide to study Bible, you fit need to spend time and energy to make return visit. Why? Because e fit be say people no go dey house when we go back go check them. Another thing be say, you fit need to go back different-different times before the person go really dey ready to accept Bible study from you. Remember say, something wey we plant get more chance to grow when we de always water-am. For the same way, person fit get interest for Bible and e love Jehovah and Jesus. But that love go get more chance to grow when we de always discuss Bible with the person.

9-10. Why we fit talk say na all of us de help to find disciples of Christ?

⁹ Some people want become disciple and na all preachers of the good news fit help to find this people. This work just be like wetin people de do when pikin lost. How? Think about this real-life example about one small boy. This boy dey three years when e lost. Na about 500 people begin look for this boy. At last, after about 20 hours, one person see the small boy for one big farm wey they plant corn. But the person no want praise from people because e see the boy. Instead, e talk say: “Na plenty of us look for the boy.”

¹⁰ Many people don lost like that pikin.  They no get hope, so they want make somebody help them. (Eph. 2:12) More than eight million of us de work together to find this people. E fit happen say you no see person wey you go de study Bible with for your territory. But, other publishers de work for the same territory. They fit see people and this people want learn the truth for Bible. When any brother or sister see person and the person become disciple of Christ, everybody get good reason to really dey happy because they join hand find the person.

11. Even if you no de conduct Bible study, which other ways you fit help to make disciples?

¹¹ Even if you no de conduct Bible study now, you fit still help to make disciples for other ways. For example, when you see new person for meeting, you fit welcome and help the person. If you do like that, you fit help the person see say we love each other and we be true Christians. (John 13:34, 35) New ones go fit learn from your comment for meeting, even if the comment dey short. They go learn how to talk about their faith for fine way from their heart and with respect. You fit still preach with new publisher and help the publisher make e know how to reason with people from Bible. When you do this one, you de teach the publisher to do like Christ.​—Luke 10:25-28.

12. We need to be expert before we fit make disciples? Explain.

¹² Make any of us no feel say we go need to be expert before we go fit teach people make they become disciples of Jesus. Why we talk like that? Make we use this example of Faustina explain-am. ¹³ Many servants of Jehovah really dey busy because they get plenty important things wey them de do. But, they still de find time to conduct Bible study, and this one de really make them glad. See this example of Sister Melanie for Alaska. The sister no get husband, so na only this sister de train e daughter. The small girl dey eight years. Melanie get full-time job and e de care for e papa. The papa get cancer. No Witness dey the town wey Melanie de stay, and the place no dey near other town. This our sister de always pray make e fit get the power to go preaching, even though cold dey. E de do like that because e really want see person  wey e go de study Bible with. As time de go, Melanie meet Sara. Sara really glad to learn say God get name. After some time, Sara accept Bible study. Melanie talk say: “For Friday evenings, I de really tire. But me and my daughter benefit as we de go conduct the study that time. We de enjoy-am when we de do research to find answer to questions wey Sara ask. And we over glad to see say Sara become friend of Jehovah.” Sara face trouble from people, but e get strong heart, e leave e church, and e baptize.

14. (a) Wetin make us be like fishermen as we de make disciples? (b) How the things wey Paul talk for 2 Timothy 4:1, 2 affect you?

¹⁴ E fit be like say better result never come out from your preaching work. Even with that one, some people want become disciples of Jesus, so no tire to find them. No forget say Jesus talk say this work be like the work wey fisherman de do. Fishermen fit spend plenty time de work before they fit catch any fish. Many times, them de work for night or early morning. And sometimes, them de travel go far place. (Luke 5:5) For the same way, some of us de spend plenty time and we dey patient de find who want become disciple; we de find them for different-different time and place. We de do like that because this one go bring better chance to meet more people. When we work hard like that, many times we de get fine result. We go fit see people wey their interest dey for our message. So, you no think say na fine thing if you try to preach for time wey you go meet more people, or for place wey you go  get more opportunity to see them?​—Read 2 Timothy 4:1, 2.

15. Why e dey important make we dey patient as we de conduct Bible study?

¹⁵ Why e dey important make we dey patient as we de conduct Bible study? One reason na because our work no be just to help the student to know and love the things wey Bible de teach. We go do pass that one. We go need to help the student make e come know and love Jehovah, the Owner of the Bible. And apart from say we go teach the student wetin Jesus want make e disciples do, we go still need to help the student make e know how to live like true Christian. Things dey inside Bible to guide the student but e fit de struggle to use them. So we go dey patient and help the student make e fit use them. For just some months, some students de fit change the way them de think and de behave. But for other students, they go need more time.

16. Wetin we learn from the example of Raúl?

¹⁶ The example of one missionary for Peru, explain the fine result wey person go get when e dey patient. The missionary talk say: “I don study two books with my Bible student wey e name na Raúl.” E still talk say: “But big-big problem still dey for e life. Trouble de always dey for e marriage, e de use bad words, and e children no de do wetin e talk because of e bad character. But e de always come meeting, so I continue to visit this my student.
