We go see how Jehovah de feel about the things wey we de talk to people. So make we first talk about when e good make we talk.

3. According to Romans 10:14, when e good make we talk?

³ Make we always dey ready to talk about Jehovah and e Kingdom. (Matt. 24:14; read Romans 10:14.) When we de do this one, we de copy Jesus. One main reason why Jesus come this earth na to tell people the truth about e Papa. (John 18:37) But make we remember say the way we de talk still dey important. So when we de talk to people about Jehovah, we must dey gentle for heart and talk-am with “deep respect.” And we need to show say we care about wetin other people believe and how them de feel. (1 Pet. 3:15) So our word no go just be ordinary talk, but e go help to teach people and even touch their heart.

4. With wetin Bible talk for Proverbs 9:9, how the things wey elders de talk fit help other people?

⁴ Make elders for congregation no fail to talk if they see say  any brother or sister need advice. But they go need to choose the correct time to talk so that they no go disgrace the person. Na good thing if they talk with the person for place wey other people no dey. Elders go always try to talk for the way wey show say they respect the person wey them de advice. But they no go fail to give people advice from Bible to help them de do things for correct way. (Read Proverbs 9:9.) Why e really dey important make we no de fear especially when we really need to talk something? Make we see two examples. The first example na about one man and e two sons wey e suppose to give correction. And the other example na about one woman wey talk to the person wey go be king after.

5. Why we fit talk say High Priest Eli no do the right thing to correct e children?

⁵ Eli na one High Priest for Bible time. E get two sons wey e really love. But e sons no respect Jehovah at all. They get important position to serve as priest for tabernacle. But they use the position anyhow. They no show respect at all for the offering wey people de bring for Jehovah and they even de sleep with women anyhow. (1 Sam. 2:12-17, 22) According to the law wey Jehovah give Israel people, the sons of Eli suppose to die. But Eli only correct them small and allow them make they continue to serve for tabernacle. (Deut. 21:18-21) How Jehovah feel about the way wey Eli handle the matter? Jehovah ask Eli say: “Why you de respect your sons pass me?” Jehovah decide say e go kill the two wicked sons of Eli.—1 Sam. 2:29, 34.

6. Wetin we learn from Eli?

⁶ We fit learn one important lesson from Eli. If we see say our friend or family member don do something wey Bible condemn, we need to talk to the person and help the person remember wetin Bible talk. Then we go make sure say e get help from the people wey Jehovah de use care for us. (Jas. 5:14) We no go ever want be like Eli. So we no go respect friend or family pass Jehovah. We really need strong heart to fit correct person, but this one de bring good result. Make we see how the example of Eli dey different from the example of one woman for Israel wey e name na Abigail.

7. Wetin make Abigail talk to David?

⁷ Abigail na the wife of one rich man for Bible time wey e name na Nabal. That  time when David and e men de run from King Saul, they work for Nabal to protect e sheep and the shepherd them wey de care for the sheep. David and e men protect them from thief. But Nabal no show say e value wetin they do. When David and e men ask Nabal for only small food and water, e vex and curse them anyhow. (1 Sam. 25:5-8, 10-12, 14) Because of this one, David decide say e go kill all the men for the family of Nabal. (1 Sam. 25:13, 22) Who go help to solve this big problem? Abigail come see say this one no be time to keep quiet. So e no fear, e go meet David and the 400 hungry men wey de vex and dey ready to fight, and e talk to David.

8. Wetin we learn from the example of Abigail?

⁸ Abigail no fear to talk to David. E talk with respect and for the way wey make-am easy for David to listen. Even though say no be Abigail cause the problem, e beg David. E make David feel say e be good man. And Abigail still trust Jehovah for help. (1 Sam. 25:24, 26, 28, 33, 34) Like Abigail, we need strong heart to talk when we see say person want make serious mistake. (Ps. 141:5) We need to talk with respect, but we still need to get strong heart. When we use love give person advice wey e really need, this one de show say we be good friend.—Prov. 27:17.

9-10. Wetin elders need to remember when them de give advice?

⁹ E really dey important make elders get strong heart to correct anybody for congregation when e do wetin Bible condemn. (Gal. 6:1) Elders still know say because they no dey perfect, they fit still need advice one day. But they no de allow this one stop them make they no correct person if e need correction. (2 Tim. 4:2; Titus 1:9) When elders de give advice, them de try to  use good word to teach the person well and them dey patient. Because of the love wey elders get, this one de move them to help their brothers. (Prov. 13:24) But the main thing wey elders want na to honor Jehovah. They fit do this one if them de do everything as Jehovah want and de protect the congregation from bad thing.—Acts 20:28.

11. Which example James use, and how this one concern the way we de talk?

¹² Wetin you go do if you see say one brother or sister know something wey other people and even you no suppose to  know? For example, maybe you see brother or sister and e de live for place wey they stop our work. You go ask the person about how them de do our work for the place? The truth be say, you no get any bad plan for mind. After all, we love our brothers and we really want know how things de go for them. E fit even be say, we want put their name and the things wey them de face for our prayer. But, this one na time to control ourself and no even talk at all. If we try to force person make e tell us something wey e no suppose to tell people, we no de show love to that person and even to other brothers. This brothers trust say this person no go tell other people about how their work de go. We dey sure say, we no go like to cause more problem for our brothers and sisters for other country where they stop our work. And no brother or sister for that kind country go want tell other people about how Jehovah Witness them de do their preaching work, their meeting, or other things to worship God.

13. As Bible talk for Proverbs 11:13, wetin elders need to do, and why?

¹³ Elders must follow the advice wey Bible give for Proverbs 11:13. (Read-am.) How they fit do-am? Na when them de make sure say they no tell anybody things wey other people no suppose to know. This one fit hard especially if the elder don marry. Husband and wife de always talk to each other about important things like how them de feel and things wey them de do, and this one de make their love strong more-more. But elders need to know say they no go ever tell their wife about congregation matter wey their wife no suppose to know. If any elder try-am, e go spoil the good name and trust wey e get. As God don give the elders work for congregation, e no good make they get “two mouth” as Bible talk. So they no go de kongosa or de do amebo. (1 Tim. 3:8; ftn.) If elder really love e wife, e no go tell e wife anything wey the wife no suppose to know.

14. Wetin wife of elder fit do so that e husband go continue to get good name?

¹⁴ Wife go fit help e husband make e continue to get good name if e no de try to ask e husband about any matter wey e no suppose to know. When wife de follow this advice, the wife de support e husband and the wife still de show respect for the people wey tell e husband their matter. And the main thing na say, Jehovah go dey happy with the wife because e de help the congregation dey together and get peace.—Rom. 14:19.

15. How Jehovah feel about the three men wey visit Job, and why?

¹⁵ We go fit learn many things from the book of Job about how and when to talk. After Job suffer plenty problem for life, four men visit Job to give advice and comfort. This men listen to Job for long time and they no talk. But the things wey three of this men wey be Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar talk after, show say they no really think about how they go fit help Job. Instead, they only think about how they fit prove say Job don put e hand for bad thing. Some things wey they talk correct, but plenty things wey they talk about Jehovah and Job no good and no correct. They judge Job like say na bad person. (Job 32:1-3) Wetin Jehovah do because of this one? Jehovah really vex for the three men. E talk say them dey foolish, and e tell them make they go meet Job make e pray for them.—Job 42:7-9.

16. Wetin we fit learn from the bad example wey Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar show?

 ¹⁶ We fit learn some lessons from the bad example wey Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar show. Number one, make we no de judge our brothers. (Matt. 7:1-5) Instead, make we listen to them well before we talk. Na only when we listen we go fit understand their condition. (1 Pet. 3:8) Number two, when we de talk, make we dey sure say the things wey we de talk dey kind and correct. (Eph. 4:25) And number three, Jehovah de really care about things wey we de tell other people.

17. Wetin we fit learn from the example of Elihu?

¹⁷ Another man wey visit Job na Elihu; e come from the family of Abraham. Elihu listen as Job and the three men de talk. E really listen well to everything wey they talk because e give Job kind and correct advice. This advice help Job correct the way e de think. (Job 33:1, 6, 17) The main thing wey Elihu want na to honor Jehovah, no be e self or another person. (Job 32:21, 22; 37:23, 24) One lesson wey we fit learn from Elihu na say, time dey to keep quiet and time dey to talk. (Jas. 1:19) We still learn say, when we de give advice, the main thing wey we go get for mind na to honor Jehovah, no be ourself.

18. How we fit show say we like the gift wey we get to talk?

¹⁸ Jehovah make us so that we fit de talk and this one na gift. How we fit show say this gift dey special to us? Na when we de follow the advice wey Bible give about when to talk and how to talk. For Bible, King Solomon write say: “Any word wey person talk for the right time be like golden apples for inside silver designs wey they carve.” (Prov. 25:11) When we de take time listen to people and we think before we talk, our word go just fine like apple wey they make with gold, and e go make people glad. Whether we no de talk plenty or we de talk plenty, our word go encourage people and Jehovah go dey happy with us. (Prov. 23:15; Eph. 4:29) This one na the best way wey we fit thank God for this gift wey e don give us!
