Na only the sacrifice wey Jesus use im blood do, de make Jehovah forgive our sin. (Eph. 1:7) But Bible still talk say: “As God de bear things, e forgive the sins wey people don do for past.” This one mean say before Jesus sacrifice im life, Jehovah don de forgive people sin. (Rom. 3:25) How Jehovah fit do this one and still be the God wey de follow wetin e don decide?

Because when Jehovah make promise say them go born one pikin wey go save everybody wey put faith for-am, to Jehovah, e just be like say wetin e promise don already happen. (Gen. 3:15; 22:18) Jehovah know say im Son, Jesus Christ go sacrifice im life when the time reach. (Gal. 4:4; Heb. 10:​7-10) When Jesus dey this earth, Jehovah give-am power to forgive sin even before e sacrifice im life. Jesus forgive the sin of people wey put faith for-am because e know say the sacrifice wey e go use im life do, go cover their sin.—Matt. 9:​2-6.
