(1 Thess. 5:17) We go fit pray to Jehovah every time and beg-am make e help us know the correct thing to do for every area for our life. (Prov. 3:5, 6) Because Jehovah get open hand, e no give us law about how many times we fit pray to-am.

² As Jehovah allow us to de pray to-am, we see-am as gift and we value that gift. But because of plenty things wey we de do, e fit hard us to get time to pray. We still fit don see say we need to make our prayer better pass before. We thank Jehovah say we fit get help and advice from Bible. For this article, we go talk about wetin we fit learn from Jesus example to de arrange time to pray. We go still talk about five things wey go make our prayer better pass before.

3. Wetin Jesus know about prayer?

³ Jesus know say Jehovah value our prayer. Plenty years before Jesus come this earth, e don see how e Papa answer the prayer of E servants. For example, Jesus dey with Jehovah  when E answer Hannah, David, and Elijah, and other servants of Jehovah, when them pray. (1 Sam. 1:10, 11, 20; 1 Ki. 19:4-6; Ps. 32:5) Na this one make Jesus teach e disciples say make them always pray and make them no doubt when them pray.—Matt. 7:7-11.

4. How we fit copy Jesus example about prayer?

⁴ Jesus use e own prayer, show e disciples example wey them fit follow about prayer. From the beginning of e preaching work till the end, Jesus pray plenty times. Jesus arrange time to fit pray, because e always dey busy and plenty people always dey with-am. (Mark 6:31, 45, 46) E wake up for early morning so that e go get time to pray when people no dey. (Mark 1:35) E get one time wey Jesus use the whole night pray before e make one important decision. (Luke 6:12, 13) The night before Jesus die, e pray plenty times because time don reach for-am to do the part of e work wey hard pass.—Matt. 26:39, 42, 44.

5. Wetin we learn from Jesus as e arrange time to pray?

⁵ Jesus use e example teach us say no matter how we dey busy reach, we need to get time wey we go take de pray. Like Jesus, we fit need to arrange time wey we go de use pray. E fit be say we go need to wake up for early morning to pray or wait to pray for night when everywhere don quiet. If we de do like that, we de show say we really value the chance wey Jehovah give us to fit pray to-am. One sister wey e name na Lynne talk how e feel when e first learn say Jehovah allow us to de pray to-am. E talk say: “When I learn say I fit pray to Jehovah anytime, e make me see Jehovah as my tight friend and e make me want make my prayer better pass before.” The truth be say, many of us de feel like Sister Lynne. So make we talk about five things wey we fit add for our prayer to make-am better pass before.

6. Wetin the 24 elders talk for Revelation 4:10, 11?

⁶ Praise Jehovah. For one vision, apostle John see 24 elders for heaven as them de worship Jehovah. As them de praise God, them talk say na Jehovah “deserve the honor, the praise, and the power.” (Read Revelation 4:10, 11.) All the angels for heaven  get plenty reason to praise Jehovah. Them de stay with-am for heaven and them don know-am well. They don know the kind God wey Jehovah be from the things wey e de do. When them see the way Jehovah de do things, e de make them want praise-am.—Job 38:4-7.

7. Which things we fit praise Jehovah for?

⁷ Just like the angels, we too need to de praise Jehovah for our prayer. When we de pray, make we de tell-am wetin we love about-am and why. As you de read and study Bible, try see how the place wey you study or read show Jehovah character wey you like well-well. (Job 37:23; Rom. 11:33) Then when you de pray, tell Jehovah how you feel about that character. We fit still praise Jehovah because e de help us and e de help our brothers and sisters for the whole world. E de always care for us and protect us.—1 Sam. 1:27; 2:1, 2.

8. Which reasons we get to de thank Jehovah? (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

⁸ Thank Jehovah. We get plenty reason why we need to thank Jehovah when we de pray. (Read 1 Thessalonians 5:18.) We go fit thank-am for any good thing wey we get, after all, every good gift na from Jehovah. (Jas. 1:17) For example, we fit thank Jehovah for this fine earth wey e don give us and the plenty wonderful things wey e make. We fit thank Jehovah for our life, our family, our friends, and for the hope wey e don give us. And make we still de thank Jehovah as e allow us be e friend.

9. Why we need to continue to do our best to always thank Jehovah?

⁹ E fit be say we go need to take time think about some things wey Jehovah don do for us wey we need to thank-am for. For this world wey we dey, plenty people no de remember to say thank you for wetin people do for them. People de always think about wetin them want, instead for them to think about how them go show say them value wetin people don do for them. If this kind bad character affect us, na only wetin we want make Jehovah do for us, we go de pray for. If we no want make this kind thing happen to us, we need to continue to do our best to always thank Jehovah for the things wey e de do for us.—Luke 6:45.

10. As Sister Kyung-sook de always thank Jehovah, how this one help-am fit endure e problem? (Still check the picture.)

¹⁰ When we de always thank Jehovah for the things wey e don do for us, this one fit help us endure our problem. See the story of one sister wey e name na Kyung-sook. The story dey January 15, 2015, Watchtower. After doctor check-am, e tell-am say e get serious lung cancer. Sister Kyung-sook talk say: “This problem really affect me, e make me feel say my own don finish and e really make me fear.” Wetin help-am fit endure? When we de thank Jehovah every time for prayer, e go help us fit endure our problem and still de happy.

11. Why Jesus disciples need strong mind to preach after Jesus go back to heaven?

¹¹ Beg Jehovah to give you strong mind to fit preach. Small time before Jesus go back to heaven, e remind e disciples about the work wey e give them, say make them preach the good news “for Jerusalem, for all the place for Judea and Samaria, and for the whole earth.” (Acts 1:8; Luke 24:46-48) But after small time, the leaders for Jew people religion arrest Peter and John and carry them go their Sanhedrin. Them threaten Peter and John and tell them say make them stop to preach the good news. (Acts 4:18, 21) Wetin Peter and John do?

12. As e dey for Acts 4:29, 31, wetin Jesus disciples do?

¹² When the leaders for Jew people religion threaten Peter and John, the two of them tell the people say: “Make wuna judge-am by wunaself whether e good for the eyes of God to do wetin wuna want instead of wetin God want. But as for us, we no fit stop to talk about the things wey we don see and hear.” (Acts 4:19, 20) When they release them, Peter and John join other disciples pray to Jehovah make e help them continue to fit do wetin e want. Them beg Jehovah say: ‘Continue to give your servants strong heart to preach your word.’ And Jehovah answer that prayer.—Read Acts 4:29, 31.

13. Wetin we fit learn from Brother Jin-hyuk example?

Them tell Brother Jin-hyuk say make e no discuss anything wey no concern e work with the people wey e de care for. This one mean say e no go fit preach to them or talk about Bible. Brother Jin-hyuk pray make Jehovah give-am strong mind and sense to fit use any chance wey e get preach. (Acts 5:29) E talk say: “Jehovah answer my prayer, e give me strong mind and sense to fit start five-minute Bible study with plenty of the prisoners for the door of their prison cell. And for evening, I go write letter wey I go give them the next day.” We too fit dey sure say Jehovah go answer our prayer and help us continue to preach reach the end. Just like Brother Jin-hyuk, we fit pray make Jehovah give us strong mind and sense.

14. Wetin fit help us when we de face problem? (Psalm 37:3, 5)

¹⁴ Beg Jehovah make e help you fit endure when you get problem. Many of us get problem wey we de endure, the problem fit be sickness, person wey we love die, family problem, they fit de suffer us because we de worship Jehovah, or some other  problem wey fit make us no happy. Things like coronavirus and war don make-am hard more-more for people to fit endure their problem. So make you use all your heart pray to Jehovah and tell-am how things be for you the way you go tell your tight friend. Make you know say Jehovah “go help you.”—Read Psalm 37:3, 5.

15. How prayer fit help us endure when we de face serious problem? Give example.

¹⁵ When we de always pray, e go help us fit “endure when [we] de face problem.” (Rom. 12:12) Jehovah know all the problem wey e servants de face. “E de hear as them de beg make e help them.” (Ps. 145:18, 19) One pioneer sister wey dey 29 years and wey e name na Kristie see say this one na true. Sister Kristie get one serious sickness when e no expect-am. This one make-am no fit de happy again. Later, Kristie hear say e mama get one bad sickness wey no get cure and e go make e mama die. Sister Kristie talk say: “I pray to Jehovah make e give me the power wey I need every day. I try to always do things wey go make me near Jehovah more. I de go meeting and I de always do my personal study. Prayer really help me endure. I know say Jehovah always dey with me, this one really help me to fit calm down. Jehovah answer my prayer, e give me peace of mind and make my heart come down.” Make we no ever forget say “Jehovah know how to save people wey hold-am tight from trouble.”—2 Pet. 2:9.

16. Why we need Jehovah help to fight temptation?

¹⁶ Beg Jehovah make e help us no fall for temptation. Because we no dey perfect, we need to continue to fight so that we no go fall for temptation to do wetin bad. Satan de do everything wey e fit do to make-am hard for us to do wetin correct. One thing wey Satan de use na to make us enjoy things wey dirty  for Jehovah eye. When we de watch video, listen to music and read books wey get things wey Jehovah hate, e go make us de think dirty things and we no go clean for God eye again. This one fit even make us do wetin bad.—Mark 7:21-23; Jas. 1:14, 15.

17. After we don pray say make Jehovah help us, wetin we still need to do so that we no go fall for temptation? (Still check the picture.)

¹⁷ We need Jehovah help if we want succeed to do wetin good for e eye. When Jesus teach e disciples how to pray for Bible, e talk say, “No allow us enter temptation.” (Matt. 6:13) Jehovah want help us but we still need to beg-am make e help us. But after we don pray say make Jehovah help us, we still need to run from anything wey fit make us fall for temptation. We fit try our best make we no read or listen to any bad idea wey Satan de spread for this world. (Ps. 97:10) We fit try to put wetin good for our mind when we de read and study Bible. Another thing wey fit still help us na to de preach and attend meetings. And Jehovah don promise us say e no go allow us face any temptation wey pass our power.—1 Cor. 10:12, 13.

18. Wetin all of us need to de do?

¹⁸ All of us need to de pray now pass before say make Jehovah help us to fit hold-am tight for this last days wey things really hard. Arrange your time to fit pray with all your heart to Jehovah every day. Jehovah want make you tell-am everything wey dey your mind. (Ps. 62:8) Praise Jehovah and thank-am for wetin e de do. Beg-am make e give you strong heart to de preach and make e help you to fit endure any problem and temptation wey you de face. No allow anything or anybody stop you to de pray to Jehovah.
