No be only good people Jehovah de do good for. E get good heart, e de care for all of us, even for “wicked people and people wey they no de talk thank you.” (Luke 6:35) For example, Jehovah “de make e sun shine for both wicked people and good people, and e de make rain fall for both righteous people and people wey no dey righteous.” (Matt. 5:45) Even people wey they no accept say na Jehovah make them still de benefit from the things wey Jehovah de do for us. All this things wey Jehovah de give us, de make us enjoy life and dey happy. And this people de enjoy-am too.

One correct example to show say Jehovah get good heart na wetin e do for Adam and Eve. Small time after Adam and Eve sin, they “sew leaves from fig tree together and make something wey they tie for waist to cover their nakedness.” But Jehovah know say they go need better cloth so that they go fit survive outside the garden of Eden. Because Jehovah don curse the ground, and na so-so “chuku-chuku” e go de produce. So Jehovah show them kindness and e do wetin they need. E sew “long cloth from skins” for them.​—Gen. 3:7, 17, 18, 21.

Even though Jehovah de do good for “both wicked people and good people,” but na e faithful servants e want do good for pass. When Jesus dey this earth, everybody know say e dey kind and de care for people. E no de try to force other people to do wetin e want, and e no dey harsh at all. E de feel people pain, na e make e talk say: “Come meet me, all of wuna wey de struggle and wey carry heavy load. I go make wuna get rest of mind. . . . Because my yoke easy to carry.” (Matt. 11:28-30) People follow Jesus everywhere wey e go, because e dey kind. Jesus talk why e really dey important for the example wey e give about the Samaritan man. That time, Samaritan people and Jew people na serious enemy. But for Jesus example, the Samaritan man feel pity for the Jew wey thief catch for road, they beat the man, collect e things, and e remain small make the man die, they come leave-am for road. When the Samaritan man de pass and see the man, e stop and help the man because e dey kind. E treat the man wound and take the man go guest house. The Samaritan man pay the person wey get the guest house to take care of the Jew, and even talk say e go pay any other money wey the person spend when e come back.​—Luke 10:29-37.

Kindness no be only to do something to help people. We fit still show say we dey kind when we think well before we talk, so that wetin we talk go encourage other people. Bible talk say: “Na the worry wey dey for person heart de make-am feel bad.” But e still talk say: “Na good word de make the heart glad.” (Prov. 12:25) We fit make other people happy when we show them kindness and goodness to encourage them and make them feel good. * Our kind word go show say we love and care for them. And this one go encourage them and make-am easy for them to cope with the problems wey them de face for this world.​—Prov. 16:24.

Kindness na wetin all of us fit try to get because God make us “like e self.” (Gen. 1:27) For example, Julius wey be Roman army officer take apostle Paul go Rome so that e no go escape. To make Jehovah happy, we must try to dey  kind everytime and make-am part of our life. Na e make Jehovah tell us say make we “wear” good-heart like cloth. (Col. 3:12) The truth be say, e no dey easy to make this good character part of us. E fit be say na because we de shame, and this one fit make us no get mind to show-am, or e fit be say people de suffer us, or person do us bad sotey we no like to care for people again even as we don try to comot the thing from our heart. No matter wetin e be, we fit fight-am and win if we trust God’s holy spirit, and imitate the way Jehovah de show kindness.​—1 Cor. 2:12.

Wetin fit help us know the area wey we need to improve the way we de show kindness for our life? Make we ask ourself this questions: ‘I de listen to person with love? I de quick notice say person need help? I fit remember the last time wey I help person wey no be my family member or my tight friend?’ Then make we plan-am say, we go try to know more about the people wey them dey around us, especially Christian brothers and sisters for congregation. If we do like this, we go fit really know their condition and their needs. Another thing be say, make we de try to show kindness for the same way wey we go like make other people show-am to us when we dey their condition. (Matt. 7:12) True-true, if we de try to dey kind and beg Jehovah to help us, e go help us and bless us.​—Luke 11:13.

When apostle Paul talk the things wey show say e be minister of God, e mention “kindness.” (2 Cor. 6:3-6) People like Paul because of the way e de care for them. E show-am for the things wey e do for them and e kind word. (Acts 28:30, 31) Like Paul, we fit make people like the truth because of the way we de behave to them. If we de show kindness to everybody, even to people wey they no de treat us well or de suffer us, this one fit touch them and make them change their heart to like us. (Rom. 12:20) As time de go, they fit even accept the truth.

For Paradise wey de come, many people wey God go resurrect go happy well-well as other people de show them kindness. That time, God no go allow anybody wey no gree show kindness and help other people, to stay for Paradise. Na only the people wey dey kind and de show love to others, God go allow make they stay for Paradise. (Ps. 37:9-11) That time, people go really dey safe and peace go dey everywhere! But before that time come, how we fit gain now as we de show kindness?

Bible talk say: “Person wey get good-heart de benefit e self.” (Prov. 11:17) People de like to dey around person wey dey kind, and them still de show the person kindness. Jesus talk say: “The way wuna de measure for people, na so they go measure for wuna.” (Luke 6:38) So, e dey easy for person wey dey kind to get good friends and remain with them as friends.

Apostle Paul encourage the congregation for Ephesus say make them “dey kind to each other, de pity for each other, de forgive each other from [their] heart.” (Eph. 4:32) Congregation go benefit when all Christians de show concern for each other, dey kind and dey ready to help each other. We no go ever dey harsh to our brothers and sisters, condemn them or laugh them to bring them down. Instead of us to gossip them, make we try to use our tongue encourage them and help them. (Prov. 12:18) This one go make the whole congregation serve Jehovah well with joy.

Yes, kindness na character wey we de show for the things wey we de talk and do. When we dey kind or get good heart, we de show say we de imitate our God Jehovah wey get this better character. (Eph. 5:1) E de make our congregation dey strong, and e de make other people come serve Jehovah. So, make we try, so that they go know us as people wey de always show kindness!
