Number two, how we fit show say we love each other? And number three, how we fit continue to make our love for each other strong more-more?

3. Which reasons we get to love our brothers and sisters?

³ Why e dey important make we love each other? We get plenty reason. One of them be say when we love our brothers and sisters, we de show say we be true Christians. Jesus tell im apostles say: “Na this one go make everybody know say  una be my disciples—if una love each other.” (John 13:35) Another reason be say, love de help us continue to dey together as one. Apostle Paul talk say: “Love de really hold people together as one.” (Col. 3:14) But another important reason still dey why we suppose love each other. Apostle John write say: “Anybody wey love God, must love im brother too.” (1 John 4:21) When we love our brothers and sisters, we de show say we love God.

4-5. Give example wey show how our love for our brothers and sisters de show if we really love God.

⁴ How the love wey we get for our brothers and sisters de show if we really love God? Make we use one example explain-am. Think about how our heart take connect to other part of our body. When we go hospital, doctor fit check our hand to know the condition of our heart. Wetin we fit learn from this example?

⁵ Just as doctor fit know how our heart strong reach, when e check our hand, na so we fit know how our love for Jehovah strong reach, when we check how our love for our brothers and sisters strong reach. If we see say our love for our brothers and sisters don weak, e mean say our love for God don de weak. But when we de always do wetin show say we love our brothers and sisters, e mean say our love for God really strong.

6. Why we suppose worry if our love for our brothers and sisters don de weak? (1 John 4:7-9, 11)

⁶ Na really serious problem if the love wey we get for our brothers and sisters don de weak. Why? Because, e mean say we don put our friendship with Jehovah for serious danger. Apostle John make-am clear when e talk say: “The person wey no love im brother wey e de see, no fit love God wey e never see.” (1 John 4:20) Wetin this one teach us? Jehovah de happy with us if we de show say we “love each other.”—Read 1 John 4:7-9, 11.

7-8. Wetin be some ways wey we fit show say we love our brothers and sisters?

⁷ For plenty place for Bible, Jehovah tell us say make we “love each other.” (John 15:12, 17; Rom. 13:8; 1 Thess. 4:9; 1 Pet. 1:22; 1 John 4:11) But na for our heart we de love person, and nobody fit see wetin dey our heart. So, how other people fit know say we love them? Na with wetin we de talk and do.

One book wey them write about Bible talk say the word wey Paul use, wey them translate as comfort,  mean “to stand near person wey get serious problem to fit encourage-am.” So, when we comfort brother or sister wey de suffer, we de help-am to fit continue to worship Jehovah. 10. When we de feel pity for people, how this one go help us to fit comfort them?

¹⁰ Na when we de feel pity for people, we go fit comfort them. Why we talk like that? Person wey de feel pity for people de like to comfort them and do something to help them. So, to de feel pity for person de help us fit comfort the person. Apostle Paul explain say Jehovah de comfort people because e de feel pity for them. Na im make Paul talk say Jehovah na “Papa wey de really show pity and the God wey de give all kind of comfort.” (2 Cor. 1:3) So, this verse de describe Jehovah as “Papa wey de really show pity” because e de really feel for people. And this one de move-am to comfort “us for all our problem.” (2 Cor. 1:4) Just as cold water for hot afternoon de cool person body, na so Jehovah de comfort us and make our mind come down when we de face problem. We need to copy the way Jehovah de feel pity for people and comfort them. But how we fit do-am? One way na to try get better-better character, wey go help us feel pity for people and e go move us to comfort them when them de face problem. Wetin be some of this character?

11. As e dey for Colossians 3:12 and 1 Peter 3:8, which other better-better character we must get wey go help us continue to get love wey go move us to comfort each other?

¹¹ Wetin fit help us continue to get love wey go help us ‘continue to de comfort each other’ everyday? We need to get better-better character, like to de feel for each other, de love each other like people for the same family, and get good mind. (Read Colossians 3:12; 1 Peter 3:8.) How this one go help us? When we de feel pity for our brothers and sisters and really care about them, this one go move us to comfort them when them de face problem. Jesus talk say: “Na the things wey full person heart, im mouth de talk. Good man de bring good things from the better-better things wey e get.” (Matt. 12:34, 35) To de comfort our brothers and sisters when them de face problem, na one better way to show say we love them.

12. (a) Why we need to dey careful make our love for each other no go down? (b) Which question we want answer now?

¹² All of us need to “continue to show each other love.” (1 John 4:7) But, remember wetin Jesus talk. E say: “The love wey most of the people get go de go down.” (Matt. 24:12) Jesus no mean say many of im disciple go stop to de show love for each other. But we need to dey careful make the character of people for this world no affect how we de treat each other. So, wetin go help us know if we get strong love for our brothers and sisters?

13. Give example of wetin fit help us know if we get strong love for our brothers and sisters.

¹³ One thing wey fit help us know if we get strong love for our brothers and sisters, na to de check how we de behave when some things happen. (2 Cor. 8:8) Make we see one example for wetin apostle Peter talk. E say: “Another thing wey dey important be say, make una get deep love for each other, because love de cover plenty sin.” (1 Pet. 4:8)  So, wetin we de do when brother or sister do wetin pain us, de show if our love for them strong.

14. As e dey for 1 Peter 4:8, which kind love we need to get? Give example.

¹⁴ Make we talk about wetin apostle Peter talk. For this verse, apostle Peter talk about two important thing. (1) E talk say make we get “deep love” for each other. The word wey them translate as “deep” mean “to stretch something.” (2) E tell us wetin we go do when we get deep love for our brothers and sisters. Deep love go move us to forgive them when them do wetin pain us. Think about one table wey don get plenty mark on top. To make people no see the mark, we fit spread cloth on top to cover all the mark. No be only one, or two mark the cloth go cover, but na all of them. For the same way, if we get deep love for our brothers and sisters, e go help us fit cover or forgive them when them make mistake or do wetin pain us.

15. If we get strong love for our brothers and sisters, wetin this one go make us do? (Colossians 3:13)

¹⁵ We need to get strong love for our brothers and sisters. This one go help us forgive them even when e no easy for us. (Read Colossians 3:13.) When we forgive them, e go  show say we get strong love for them and say we want make Jehovah happy. Which other thing fit help us forgive our brothers and sisters when them make mistake or do wetin we no like?

¹⁶ Put mind for the good side of your brothers and sisters. For example, think-am say you go enjoy yourself with some brothers and sisters. For there, una snap one picture together. You still snap two other picture join in case the first one no good. You don get three picture now. For one of the picture, you see say one brother squeeze face. Wetin you go do with the picture? ¹⁷ The things wey we de remember about our brothers and sisters just be like the pictures wey we keep. We de always like to remember the good time wey we enjoy with our brothers and sisters. But imagine say one time wey you de enjoy with some brothers and sisters, one brother or sister talk or do something wey make you vex. Wetin you go do? Why you no try forget wetin e do just as you go delete the picture wey you no like? (Prov. 19:11; Eph. 4:32) We fit forget the small-small things wey our brothers do wey make us vex, when we remember plenty good  things wey them don do. So, na the better things wey our brothers and sisters do, we want de remember.

18. Wetin we don learn about love for this article?

¹⁸ Why e dey important for us to get strong love for each other? As we don learn, when we show love for our brothers and sisters, we de show say we love Jehovah. How we de show say we love our brothers and sisters? One way na to comfort them when them de face problem. If we de feel pity for people, this one go help us fit comfort our brothers and sisters when them de face problem. So, how we fit make our love for each other continue to dey strong? Na when we de try our best to forgive our brothers and sisters when them do wetin vex us, even when e no easy for us.

¹⁹ Why e dey important make we de show love to each other now pass before? See the reason wey apostle Peter give us, e say: “The end of everything don near. So, . . . make una get deep love for each other.” (1 Pet. 4:7, 8) As the end of this wicked world de near more-more, wetin we fit expect? Jesus tell im disciples wetin go happen, e talk say: “All the nations go hate una because of my name.” (Matt. 24:9) But to fit continue to worship Jehovah well, we need to continue to dey together as one.
