But before we talk that one, make we first talk wetin e mean to worship only Jehovah.

3. Why we get good reason to love Jehovah?

³ We get good reasons to love Jehovah. Why we talk so? Because we don learn plenty things about Jehovah and we come like the kind person wey e be. We know the things wey Jehovah like and we like this things too. And the things wey e hate, we hate them too. We understand why God make us and we de live our life the way e want. We de over glad say e give us chance make we be e friend. (Ps. 25:14) Everything wey we de learn about our God de make our friendship tight more-more.​—Jas. 4:8.

⁴ Devil de use things for this world wey e de control to deceive people. How? E de make people see wetin their body want as the number one important thing for life. E still de use the world to make-am hard for us to remove our hand from  wrong things. (Eph. 2:1-3; 1 John 5:19) E want make we love other things too, so that we no go love only Jehovah. Make we talk about two ways wey Satan de use do this one. The first way be say, e de try to deceive us make we love money. The second way be say, e de try to spoil our mind with wetin we choose to do when we want relax and enjoy ourself.

5. Why we must dey careful make we no begin love money?

⁵ All of us want get enough food to chop, better clothes to wear, and better place to live. But, we must dey careful so that we no go begin love money. Today, plenty people for the world “like money” and the things wey money fit buy. (2 Tim. 3:2) Jesus know say e followers fit begin get this kind love. Jesus talk say: “Nobody fit slave for two masters, e go hate one and love the other one, or e go hold one tight and hate the other one. Wuna no fit slave for God and for money.” (Matt. 6:24) Servant of Jehovah fit de use plenty time and energy de try to gather money and property for this world. If e de do like that, e de try to serve two masters. This one go make the person no love only Jehovah.

6. Which lesson we fit learn from wetin Jesus tell the congregation for Laodicea?

⁶ Before the year 100 C.E., brothers and sisters for the congregation for the city of Laodicea, make mouth say: “I dey rich and I don make money and I no need anything at all.” But Jehovah and Jesus see say their condition really bad, they ‘no dey happy, them dey poor, blind and naked.’ Jesus no correct them because them dey rich. E correct them because they love money and property sotey their friendship with Jehovah  begin spoil. (Rev. 3:14-17) If we notice say we want begin love money for our heart, make we quick-quick correct the way we de think. E talk say: “I come really decide to correct the situation.” E change the way e plan to do e work, and e tell e master the thing wey e don plan to do. Wetin be the result? They sack David! Wetin e come do? E talk say: “The next day, I fill form to do auxiliary pioneer and I no put date wey I go stop.” For David and e wife to support theirself, they begin work as cleaner. After  some time, e begin serve as regular pioneer, and e wife join after. This brother and e wife choose to do work wey plenty people no de like to do. But no be the work be the number one thing for them. If you compare the money wey them de get every month for this new work with the former one, e no reach anything at all. Even with that one, the amount of money wey them de get every month dey enough for them to buy the things wey they need. They want put Jehovah first for their life. And they don see say when person put God’s Kingdom first, Jehovah no de fail to care for the person.​—Matt. 6:31-33.

10. How we fit protect our heart?

¹⁰ Whether na plenty money we get or na small money, we need to protect our heart. How? Make you no begin love money. And make you no allow your work take the first place for your life, instead of your service to Jehovah. How you fit know if that one de happen to you? Some questions wey you fit ask yourself na: ‘I de always think about my work when I dey for meeting or preaching? I de always worry whether I go get enough money for myself for future? Money and property de cause problem for my marriage? I ready to do work wey other people no de want do if the work go allow me to do more for Jehovah?’ (1 Tim. 6:9-12) When we think about this questions, we must remember say Jehovah love us. And make we still remember say, for people wey their love for God strong, e promise them say: “I no go ever leave wuna, and I no go ever abandon wuna.” Na this one make apostle Paul talk say: “Make wuna no love money for wuna life.”​—Heb. 13:5, 6.

11. Wetin fit happen to person because of the things wey e de use relax and enjoy e self?

¹¹ Jehovah want make we enjoy life. And the things wey we choose to do when we want relax and enjoy ourself go fit help us enjoy life. True-true, Bible talk say “nothing better pass for person to chop and drink and enjoy the work wey e de do.” (Eccl. 2:24) But, many things for the world wey people de use enjoy theirself go fit affect us for bad way. This things de make plenty people to begin accept or even love the things wey Bible condemn.

12. According to 1 Corinthians 10:21, 22, why we must dey careful when we de choose wetin we want use enjoy ourself?

¹² We want worship only Jehovah with all  our heart. So we no go fit chop for “the table of Jehovah” and “the table of demons.” (Read 1 Corinthians 10:21, 22.) Plenty times, if person de chop with another person, na sign say they be friends. For example, servant of Jehovah fit want relax and enjoy e self. But what if e choose things wey fight dey inside, things about demons, things about sex wey God hate, or other bad things wey our body want and bad character? That one go be like say e de chop with enemies of God and e de chop food wey this enemies prepare. Because of this one, the person no go only cause trouble for e self, but e go still spoil e friendship with Jehovah.

13-14. As e dey for James 1:14, 15, why e good make we dey careful about the things wey we de use relax and enjoy ourself? Give example.

¹³ How the things wey we de use relax and enjoy ourself be like food? When we de chop food, we fit select wetin de enter our mouth. But, after we don swallow the food, we no fit choose how the food go work for our body. Better food go make our body strong, but bad food go make us sick. The result of the bad food fit no quick show, but as time de go, the result go show.

¹⁴ For the same way, when we want choose wetin we go use enjoy ourself, we fit select wetin de enter our mind. But after that one, this things wey we don choose go affect how we de think and feel. If we choose good thing to use relax and enjoy ourself, we go get good result. But if na bad thing we choose, we go get bad result. (Read James 1:14, 15.) The result of the bad thing wey we choose fit no quick show, but after some time, e go show. No wonder Bible warn us say: “No allow anybody deceive you: God no be person wey we go play with. Because anything wey person plant, na that thing e go harvest; because if person de plant so that e fit follow wetin e body want, the person go get bad result from the things wey e body want.” (Gal. 6:7, 8) So if wetin we want do to relax and enjoy ourself get things wey Jehovah hate, make we reject-am. ¹⁶ We must dey careful about the kind things wey we de do to relax and enjoy ourself. But apart from that one, we go still control the amount of time wey we de use enjoy this things. If we no do this one, we fit begin spend more time for enjoyment and spend small time for our service to Jehovah. For us to control the amount of time wey we de use relax and enjoy ourself fit no easy for many of us. For example, one sister wey e name na Abigail dey 18 years. E talk say: “When I watch television for the end of any busy day, e de help me to relax. But if I no dey careful, I fit use plenty time de watch television.”  One young brother wey e name na Samuel talk say: “Sometimes, I de watch plenty short video for Internet. I go first start to watch only one, and before I know wetin de happen, I don spend three or four hours de watch video.”

¹⁷ How you fit control the amount of time wey you de use for enjoyment? The first thing na to find out the amount of time wey you de really use enjoy yourself. You no feel say e go dey fine if you record the amount of time wey you de use for one week? Write ontop calendar how many hours you de use watch television, the amount of hours wey you de use look things for Internet, and the amount of hours wey you de use play game for your phone. If you feel say you de spend too much time, make you get plan for things wey you go do. Make you first plan to do wetin dey important pass other things. Then, plan the amount of time wey you go use for enjoyment. After that one, tell Jehovah make e help you do wetin go make your plan work. With this one, you go get the time and power wey you need for congregation meeting, to study Bible, and to do family worship. This one go still help you work for Jehovah as you de preach and teach. And because you put Jehovah first, you go still enjoy the time wey you de use for enjoyment more-more.

18-19. How we fit show say na only Jehovah we de worship with all our heart?

¹⁸ Apostle Peter write about the end of this world wey Satan de control and the new world wey we de expect. E talk say: ‘Our people wey we love, since wuna de wait for this things, make wuna do wuna best so that wuna no go get stain, wuna go dey clean and get peace.’ (2 Pet. 3:14) Make we follow that advice and do our best to worship Jehovah and live for the way wey e want. When we do like that, this one go show say na only Jehovah we de worship.

¹⁹ Satan and the world wey e de control go de try to make us put other things first instead of Jehovah. (Luke 4:13) But no matter wetin we de face, we no go allow anybody or anything to take the place of Jehovah for our heart. Na only Jehovah we suppose to worship with all our heart.
