⁴ Plenty brothers and sisters de stand to study Bible with people for front of their door. Na true say this one na good way to first make people begin get interest for Bible. But this kind discussion de really dey short and e fit no de happen every week. So that the discussion go continue, some brothers and sisters de collect the phone number of the person. And then, they go call the person or send short text message about Bible before they see again other times. This kind discussion fit continue for some months. But, only this one fit no make the person continue to do well and baptize. The person go need to work hard more-more and spend more time for the study.

5. Wetin Jesus talk for Luke 14:27-33 wey we fit use help our Bible student?

⁵ Jesus use one example explain wetin person must do if the person want be e disciple. E talk about person wey want build house and about king wey want go fight war. Jesus talk say the person wey want build house must “first sitdown and calculate how much e go spend” to finish the house. And e talk say the king must “first sitdown and take advice from people” to see whether the soldiers wey e get go fit win the war. (Read Luke 14:27-33.) For the same way, Jesus know say if person want be e disciple, the person suppose take time check wetin e need to do to be e disciple. Because of this reason, we need to encourage our Bible student make them de study every week. How we fit do this one?

6. Wetin we fit try to do so that our Bible students go continue to do well?

⁶ The first thing wey we go do na to increase the time wey we de use study with the person for front of e door. You fit de discuss more things from Bible with the person everytime wey you visit. When the person don de like this kind discussion,  ask-am whether place dey to sitdown and continue the discussion. The answer wey the person go give go show whether e really serious about the study. As time de go, to help the student de do well fast-fast, you fit even ask-am if e dey ready to study two times every week. But, you go need to do pass just to study with the person one time or two times every week.

7. How you go fit prepare well each time wey you want go study with your Bible student?

⁷ As the teacher, you need to prepare well each time wey you want go study with your Bible student. The first thing wey you fit do na to read the place wey you want study with the person and check the Bible verse them. Make the main point for the place wey you want study with the person, dey clear for your mind. Think about the topic, the small-small topic, the questions, the “read” scriptures, the pictures, and any video wey fit help you explain the topic. Then, think about your Bible student and how you go explain the information make e dey simple and clear, so that e go dey easy for your student to understand-am and use-am.—Neh. 8:8; Prov. 15:28a.

9. How the teacher fit help the student to prepare for e study? Explain.

⁹ If we de always study with our Bible student, we believe say as time de go, e go like the things wey Jehovah and Jesus don do for-am, and e go want learn more. (Matt. 5:3, 6) If the student want really benefit from wetin e de study, e go need to put all e mind for wetin e de learn. For this one to happen, explain why e really dey important to prepare for every study. And make the student know say, this one go dey possible if e de read the place wey wuna go study before wuna study-am, and de think about how e fit use the thing wey e learn.  How the teacher fit help the student prepare? Make the teacher prepare one topic together with the student so that the student go see how e fit do-am. * Show the student how e go fit see the answer to the questions, and make e know say if e de mark some important words or sentence, this one fit help-am remember the answer. Then tell the student make e talk the answer the way e understand-am. When e do this one, you go fit know whether e really understand wetin wuna de talk. But another thing dey wey you fit encourage your student to do.

10. Why e dey important to read Bible everyday, and wetin Bible student need to do if e want really gain plenty things from Bible reading?

The student need to listen and talk to Jehovah. E fit listen to God when e de read Bible everyday. 11. How Bible student fit learn to pray for correct way, and why e dey important for the student to always pray to Jehovah?

¹¹ Encourage your student to pray everyday. This one go show say e de talk to Jehovah. Anytime wey you go study with your student, pray from your heart for the beginning and for the end of the study. And make you mention your student for the prayer. As the student de listen to your prayer, e go learn how to pray from e heart, and still learn say na Jehovah e go pray to with the name of Jesus Christ. (Matt. 6:9; John 15:16) If your student de read Bible everyday, (de listen to Jehovah) and de pray (de talk to Jehovah), this one go help your student to really near Jehovah more-more! (Jas. 4:8) If your student de do this one everyday, this one go help-am continue to do well till e give e life to Jehovah and baptize.

12. How Bible teacher fit help e student get tight friendship with Jehovah?

¹² The things wey Bible student de learn for e Bible study no go only dey e head, but this things still need to enter e heart. Why we talk so? We want make our student learn about Jehovah. But, na when the things wey e de learn touch e heart, e go fit do the things wey e de learn. Jesus reason well with people as e de teach them and they like wetin they learn from Jesus. But people follow Jesus because e still tell them things wey touch their heart. (Luke 24:15, 27, 32) Your student need to see Jehovah as Person wey e fit get friendship with. And e need to know say Jehovah fit be e Papa, e God, and e Friend. (Ps. 25:4, 5) As you de study with the student, make e really see say our God get fine-fine character. (Ex. 34:5, 6; 1 Pet. 5:6, 7) Do this one no matter the topic wey wuna de talk about. Help the student see say Jehovah get love, e dey kind, and e de show pity. Jesus talk say the commandment wey “dey important pass” and wey be “the number one,” na to “love Jehovah your God.” (Matt. 22:37, 38) Try to help your student make e love Jehovah.

13. Give one example of how to help student learn about the fine-fine character wey Jehovah get.

¹³ Explain to your student why you really love Jehovah. This one fit help your student see say e need to be friend with Jehovah and learn to love-am. ¹⁴ All of us want make our student de do well till they baptize. One important way wey we fit help them, na to encourage them to always go congregation meeting. Bible teachers wey don de teach for long time talk say students wey start to go meeting early, de do well fast-fast. (Ps. 111:1) Some teachers de explain to their students say, many things dey wey they go learn for  meeting wey they no go learn for their Bible study. Read Hebrews 10:24, 25 with your student, and explain to the student the things wey e go gain if e de go meeting.
