SONG 90 Make We De Support Each Other

Wetin Fit Help You Stop to De Doubt?

Wetin Fit Help You Stop to De Doubt?

“Check everything well.”—1 THESS. 5:21.

WETIN WE GO LEARN?

For this article, we go learn about wetin we fit do if we get doubts wey fit affect our worship to Jehovah.

1-2. (a) Give example of some things wey Jehovah people fit de worry about. (b) Wetin we go talk about for this article?

WHETHER we dey young or old, sometimes, all of us de doubt a if Jehovah value us and whether the decisions wey we make to worship-am na better decision. For example, one young publisher fit de doubt if Jehovah de see wetin e de do or care about-am. Because of this one, e fit no dey sure if e need to baptize. Or think about one brother wey decide to put Jehovah worship as number one thing for im life when e dey young, instead of to de pursue money. Now wey e don get family, e get only money wey e fit use care for im family, so e fit de wonder if the decision wey e make when e dey young, na better one. Or think about one old sister wey no get power again to do wetin e for like to do for Jehovah. This one fit no make the sister happy because e no fit do wetin e de do before. You don ever ask yourself this kind questions: ‘Jehovah de really see me? E really make sense say I leave some things before to put Jehovah worship as number one thing for my life? Jehovah still value me or the things wey I de do?’

2 If we no get answer to this kind questions, e fit make us no trust Jehovah again, and even stop to de worship-am. For this article, we go see how Bible advice fit help us if we de think say (1) Jehovah no care about us, (2) our decision wey we make before to serve Jehovah no be better one, or (3) say wetin we de do now no reach anything for Jehovah eye.

WETIN FIT HELP YOU STOP TO DE DOUBT?

3. Wetin we fit do when we get questions wey de make us doubt?

3 One thing wey fit help us stop to de doubt na to do research for Bible about wetin de make us doubt. If we do like this, our faith go strong more and our friendship with Jehovah go tight well-well, and this one go help us fit “stand strong for the faith.”—1 Cor. 16:13.

4. How we fit show say we de “check everything well?” (1 Thessalonians 5:21)

4 Read 1 Thessalonians 5:21. Bible tell us say make we “check everything well.” How we fit do this one? To fit dey sure say wetin we believe na true, make we compare wetin we believe with wetin Bible talk. For example, think about the young person wey no dey sure say Jehovah care about-am. E go just believe-am say Jehovah no care about-am? No, e need to study Bible to see how Jehovah de feel about-am, this one go show say e de “check everything well.”

5. How we fit see Jehovah answer to our questions?

5 When we de read Bible, e just be like say Jehovah de talk to us. But to know wetin Jehovah de think about the matter wey de worry us, we need to do something when we de read. We need to check for Bible verse them or advice wey concern the topic wey dey our mind. We fit still use our books do research about the topic. (Prov. 2:3-6) We need to pray to Jehovah and beg-am make e help us see the answer to our question. Then we fit look for Bible advice or information wey fit help for our situation. Another thing na to read story of Jehovah people for Bible, wey their situation resemble our own.

6. How meetings fit help us when we get question?

6 Another way wey Jehovah de use talk to us na for our meeting. If we de go meeting everytime, we fit hear something for one talk or comment wey one brother or sister give, wey fit be answer to our question. (Prov. 27:17) Now, make we talk about how we fit get answer to some questions.

WETIN YOU FIT DO IF YOU NO DEY SURE SAY JEHOVAH CARE ABOUT YOU?

7. Which question some people fit de ask?

7 You don ever ask yourself say: ‘Jehovah de really care about me?’ If you de feel say you no be anything, you fit start to think say e no dey possible for you to become Jehovah friend. King David fit don feel like that too. When e compare us to the things wey Jehovah don make, e feel say we no be anything for Jehovah to care about us. This one move-am to talk say: “O Jehovah, wetin man be wey you go notice-am? Wetin ordinary man be wey you go think about-am?” (Ps. 144:3) Where you fit get answer to this question: “Jehovah de really care about each of us?”

8. As e dey for 1 Samuel 16:6, 7, 10-12, wetin Jehovah de see for person?

8 Bible teach us say Jehovah de notice people wey other people de think say them no dey important. For example, Jehovah send Samuel to go anoint one of Jesse son wey go be Israel king for future. Jesse get eight sons. But when Samuel reach there, Jesse call seven of them make them come meet Samuel. E no call David wey be the one wey young pass among im children.  b But, na David Jehovah choose. (Read 1 Samuel 16:6, 7, 10-12.) Jehovah see the kind person wey David really be. E know say na young man wey love-am well-well.

9. How you fit dey sure say Jehovah de care about you? (Still check the picture.)

9 Think about how Jehovah don already show you say you really dey important to-am. E give you advice wey you really need to solve problems wey you de face. (Ps. 32:8) This one show say e know you well-well and e know wetin you need. (Ps. 139:1) When you follow the advice wey e de give you and you see how the advice de work for you, e go help you dey sure say Jehovah de really care about you. (1 Chron. 28:9; Acts 17:26, 27) Jehovah de see everything wey you de do to worship-am and to obey-am. And e still de see the better-better character wey you get and e want be your friend. (Jer. 17:10) E go happy well-well if you want be im friend too.—1 John 4:19.

“If you search for [Jehovah], e go allow you make you know-am.”—1 Chron. 28:9 (Check paragraph 9) c

WETIN YOU FIT DO, IF YOU DE DOUBT WHETHER THE DECISION WEY YOU MAKE BEFORE NA BETTER ONE

10. When we think about the decisions wey we make before, which questions fit come our mind?

10 Sometimes, some people fit think about the decisions wey them make when them dey young and start to de doubt if them make the right decision. E fit be say them leave their job wey de give them big money, or them decide say them no go do one business wey go give them plenty money, because them want do more for Jehovah. But many years don pass since them make this decision. Them fit see some people wey them grow together wey no make the same decision like their own, and now them get plenty money and e be like say them de happy. Because of this one, them fit de ask theirself say: ‘The decision wey I make before really make sense? Or e for better if I do like the other people to work more, so that I for fit get plenty money now?’

11. Wetin make the person wey write Psalm 73 de worry?

11 If you de ask yourself this kind question, see how the person wey write Psalm 73 feel one time. E see people wey no de worship Jehovah but them no de sick, them get plenty money and property, and e be like say them no get any problem. (Ps. 73:3-5, 12) When e see say e be like say everything de go well for them, e start to feel say im decision to serve Jehovah well no be better one. This one really worry im mind. (Ps. 73:13, 14) Wetin e do so that e go stop to de feel like this?

12. As e dey for Psalm 73:16-18, wetin help the person wey write this Psalm stop to de worry?

12 Read Psalm 73:16-18. The person wey write Psalm 73 go Jehovah temple. As e dey with Jehovah people for there, e fit think well. E understand say, even though e be like say some people de enjoy better life now, them no get hope for future. This one make im mind come down and make-am dey sure say to serve Jehovah na the best decision. So e decide say e go continue to serve Jehovah.—Ps. 73:23-28.

13. Wetin you fit do, if you de doubt whether your decision to serve Jehovah na better one? (Still check the picture.)

13 Just like the person wey write Psalm 73, you too fit make your mind come down as you de study Bible. How? Remember the better-better things wey you get now, like the way Jehovah don bless you, and remember say people wey no de serve Jehovah no de get help from-am. Them de put all their trust for wetin them de get now, because them no get any hope for future. But no be so e be for you, Jehovah de bless you now, and e don promise say e go give you plenty wonderful things for future. (Ps. 145:16) Still think about this one: You no know how your life for be today if to say you make different decision. But you fit dey sure of one thing: When you make decisions because you love Jehovah and people, you go always get the things wey go make you happy.

De think about the blessings wey you go enjoy for Paradise (Check paragraph 13) d

WETIN YOU FIT DO IF YOU DE FEEL SAY JEHOVAH NO DE VALUE WETIN YOU DE DO?

14. Which problem some of Jehovah people de face, and wetin them fit de ask theirself?

14 Some of Jehovah people no fit do wetin them for like do for Jehovah because them don old, some de sick, or their body no complete like other people. So, them fit feel say them no dey important to Jehovah. Them fit de ask theirself say, ‘Jehovah de value wetin I de do?’

15. Wetin the person wey write Psalm 71 dey sure of?

15 The person wey write Psalm 71 feel the same way. E pray to Jehovah say: “No abandon me when I no get power again.” (Ps. 71:9, 18) Even though say e de feel like that, e dey sure say if e de serve Jehovah well, Jehovah go help-am. E don learn say Jehovah de happy with person wey de continue to worship-am, even though say some things de make the person no fit do wetin e for like do for-am.—Ps. 37:23-25.

16. Wetin old people fit do wey Jehovah go value well-well? (Psalm 92:12-15)

16 If you be old person, think about how Jehovah de see you. Jehovah fit help you continue to de worship-am well, even though say you no get power like before. (Read Psalm 92:12-15.) Instead make you put your mind for wetin you no fit do again, think about wetin you fit do now. For example, you fit encourage other people with your better example and as you de show them love. You fit tell them how Jehovah don support you for many years, and Jehovah promise wey you go like see for future. And no forget say the prayers wey you de make for other brothers and sisters really get power. (1 Pet. 3:12) No matter how our condition be, all of us get something wey we fit do for Jehovah and for our brothers and sisters.

17. Why we no suppose compare ourself with other people?

17 If you no de happy because you no fit do as you for like do for Jehovah work, dey sure say Jehovah value wetin you fit do. You fit de try compare wetin you de do, with wetin other people de do. But e no good like that. Why? Because Jehovah no de compare us with other people. (Gal. 6:4) For example, Mary give Jesus one oil wey cost well-well. (John 12:3-5) And one poor widow put two small coins wey no too get value for temple. (Luke 21:1-4) But Jesus no compare the two women. Instead, e talk say Mary and the poor widow show say them get strong faith. Jesus copy im Papa example well. So you fit dey sure say Jehovah de see everything wey you de do to show say you love-am, and say you get strong faith for-am even if you feel say wetin you de do small.

18. Wetin go help us stop to de doubt? (Still check the box “ Bible Fit Help You Stop to De Doubt.”)

18 All of us de doubt sometimes. But as we don learn, Bible fit help us stop to de doubt. So do your best to get answers to questions wey de make you doubt, and this one go make you stop to de worry. Jehovah know you well-well. E de happy for the decisions wey you make, to fit put im worship as number one thing for your life and e go bless you now and for future. Make you know say Jehovah love each of im servant and e de care for each of them.

SONG 111 Reasons Why We Dey Happy

a WORD WEY WE EXPLAIN: For this article, the doubt wey we de talk about na when person no dey sure say Jehovah value-am or say the decisions wey e make to fit put Jehovah worship as number one thing for im life, na better one. We no de talk about the type of doubt wey Bible talk say person de get, wey show say the person no get faith for Jehovah and wetin e promise.

b Even though say Bible no tell us the age wey David dey when Jehovah choose-am say e go be king for Israel, e dey possible say e never reach 20 years that time.—Check September 1, 2011, Watchtower, p. 29, par. 2.

c OTHER THINGS ABOUT THE PICTURE: One young sister de read Bible to see Bible advice wey go help-am for im situation.
