1. Which relationship we fit get with Jehovah?

JESUS wey be “the firstborn for everything wey God make” and plenty-plenty angels, de worship Jehovah as part of E family. (Col. 1:15; Ps. 103:20) When Jesus dey this earth, e help faithful people to see Jehovah as their Papa. When Jesus de talk to e disciples, e talk about Jehovah as “my Father and wuna Father.” (John 20:17) And when we give our life to Jehovah and baptize, we don join family wey love us, wey be our brothers and sisters for congregation.—Mark 10:29, 30.

2. Wetin we go talk about for this article?

² E no easy for some people to see Jehovah as Papa wey love them. Other people fit no know how to show love to their brothers and sisters. For this article, we go talk about how Jesus de help us to see Jehovah as Papa wey love us, and as Person wey we fit near. We go still learn about ways wey we fit copy Jehovah for how we de treat our brothers and sisters.

3. How the prayer wey Jesus teach e disciples make us de near Jehovah more?

³ Jehovah na Papa wey love us. Jesus want make we de see Jehovah as Papa wey dey kind, wey love us, and wey we fit talk to anytime; and na so Jesus de see Jehovah too. E no want make we see Jehovah as harsh person or person wey de give only command. This one really show for the things wey Jesus teach e disciples to pray about. E start the prayer like this: “Our Father.” (Matt. 6:9) Jesus for tell us make we call Jehovah “the Almighty,” “the Creator,” or  “everlasting King.” And all this titles correct because Bible use-am talk about Jehovah. (Gen. 49:25; Isa. 40:28; 1 Tim. 1:17) But Jesus tell us make we call Jehovah, Papa.

4. How we know say Jehovah want make we near-am?

⁴ E de hard you to see Jehovah as Papa wey love you? For some of us, the answer na yes. E fit no easy for us to think of papa wey love us if our own papa no dey kind. But as we know say Jehovah really understand how we de feel and why we de feel like that, this one de cool our heart! E want near us. Because of this one, e Word encourage us say: “Make wuna come near God, and God go come near wuna.” (Jas. 4:8) Jehovah love us, and e talk say e go be the best Papa wey we fit ever get.

5. With wetin dey Luke 10:22, how Jesus fit help us near Jehovah more?

⁵ Jesus fit help us near Jehovah more-more. Jesus really know Jehovah well and e de copy e fine-fine character well. Because of this one, e talk say: “If any person don see me, e don see the Father too.” (John 14:9) Like senior brother, Jesus de teach us how to respect and obey our Papa, how to do wetin e like, and run from wetin e hate. But Jesus especially use the way e live e life for earth to show say Jehovah dey kind and e get love. (Read Luke 10:22.) Make we see some examples.

6. Give examples about how Jehovah listen to Jesus.

⁶ Jehovah de listen to e children. Think about the way Jehovah listen to e first Son. True-true, Jehovah hear the many prayer wey e Son pray when e dey for earth. (Luke 5:16) E listen to Jesus prayer when Jesus want make important decisions. For example, when e select e 12 apostles. (Luke 6:12, 13) When Jesus dey serious stress, Jehovah still hear e prayer. Just before Judas give Jesus to the enemies, Jesus pray to God about the serious test wey e go soon face. Jehovah no only  hear Jesus prayer, but e still send angel to make e dear Son strong.—Luke 22:41-44.

7. How we suppose feel as we know say Jehovah de listen to our prayer?

⁷ Today, Jehovah still de listen to the prayer of e servants and e de answer them for the right time and the best way. (Ps. 116:1, 2) Make we talk about how one sister for India see how Jehovah answer e prayer. This sister suffer from serious worry-worry, and e pour e heart for prayer to Jehovah. 8. Which ways Jehovah show love for Jesus?

⁸ Jehovah love us and e de care for us, just as e love and care for Jesus all the time wey e dey for earth. (John 5:20) Jehovah help Jesus to continue to get strong faith. E encourage Jesus when e face stress, and e make sure say Jesus get the things wey e need to survive. And Jehovah show love and favor to e Son. (Matt. 3:16, 17) Because Jesus always know say e Papa for heaven dey e back, e no ever feel say e dey alone.—John 8:16.

9. Wetin make us know say Jehovah love us?

⁹ Like Jesus, all of us don see the love wey Jehovah get, for many ways. Just think-am: Jehovah don draw us come e side, and e give us plenty brothers and sisters wey love us, to make us dey happy and to encourage us when things de worry us. (John 6:44) Jehovah still de give us everything wey we need to make our faith strong more. And e de even give us the things wey we need to survive everyday. (Matt. 6:31, 32) When we think about the love wey Jehovah get for us, this one go make our love for Jehovah de grow.

10. Wetin we fit learn from the way Jehovah de treat our brothers and sisters?

¹⁰ Jehovah love our brothers and sisters. But e fit no always dey easy for us to love them and show this love wey we get. After all, our culture dey different and the way we grow up dey different. And all of us de make mistake wey fit make people tire or sad. Even with that one, we fit try our best to make the love wey we get for this our family de strong more. How we fit do this one? Na when we de copy the way our Papa Jehovah de show love to our brothers and sisters. (Eph. 5:1, 2; 1 John 4:19) Make we see wetin we fit learn from the example wey Jehovah show.

11. How Jesus show say the pity wey Jehovah get dey deep?

¹¹ Jehovah de show say the pity wey e get really dey deep. (Luke 1:78) When person really get pity, e no go dey happy when e see people de suffer. E go look for ways to help and give comfort. The way Jesus treat people show say e copy the way Jehovah de care about them. (John 5:19) One time wey Jesus see plenty people, e “pity for them” because they be like sheep wey de suffer, wey no get shepherd to care for them. (Matt. 9:36) Jesus no only feel for them because of the pity wey e get, but e do pass that one. E cure sick people and help people wey de “work hard for nothing” and wey de “carry heavy load.”—Matt. 11:28-30; 14:14.

12. Give one example about how we fit show say we get pity for our brothers and sisters.

¹² If we de think about the problems wey  our brothers and sisters de face, we go fit show say we get pity for them. For example, one sister fit get serious sickness. The sister no de ever complain about-am, but e go dey happy if person fit do something to help. How e de manage de care for the things wey e family need? You no think say e go like-am if we help-am cook or clean e house? Or one brother fit no get work again. We fit give the brother some money make e de use manage life until e see another work, and we fit no even mention our name say na we give the money.

13-14. How we fit get open hand like Jehovah?

¹³ Jehovah get open hand. (Matt. 5:45) We no suppose wait until our brothers and sisters tell us say they need our help before we show say we care about them. Like Jehovah, we fit do things for them even before they tell us. No be we de tell Jehovah before e make the sun shine for us everyday. And everybody de benefit from the sun, no be only people wey de thank God. As Jehovah de give us the things wey we need, e de show us say e love us, no be so? We really love Jehovah because e dey kind and e get open hand!

¹⁴ Even before people ask for help, our brothers and sisters de copy Jehovah for the way them de show say they get open hand. For example, for 2013, one strong wind and heavy rain destroy plenty things for Philippines. Many brothers and sisters lose their house and property. But their brothers and sisters around the world no waste time to support them. Plenty of them contribute money, or help to fix or build almost 750 house before one year complete! And for time of COVID-19, Jehovah Witness people work hard to support their brothers and sisters. When we no de waste time to support our brothers and sisters, we de show them say we love them.

15-16. As e dey for Luke 6:36, wetin be one important way wey we fit do like our Papa Jehovah?

¹⁵ Jehovah get mercy and e de forgive. (Read Luke 6:36.) Our Papa for heaven de show us mercy everyday. (Ps. 103:10-14) Jesus show e followers mercy and e  forgive them as they no dey perfect. E even use all e heart come sacrifice e life so that God go forgive our sins. (1 John 2:1, 2) Because Jehovah and Jesus de show mercy and de forgive, this one no move you to want near them?

¹⁶ The love wey we get for each other de strong more-more when we de “forgive each other from our heart.” (Eph. 4:32) The truth be say, to forgive people fit really hard sometimes. So we need to work hard to forgive. One sister feel say e get help to forgive from one Watchtower article wey get the title “Forgive One Another Freely.” * The sister talk say: “As I study the article, e don help me understand how I de help myself when I de forgive. The article explain say when you forgive people, this one no mean say you de support the bad thing wey they do, or say wetin they do no pain you. But when you forgive them, this one mean say you no de vex for them again and you go continue to get peace.” When we de forgive our brothers and sisters from our heart, we de show say we love them and we de copy our Papa Jehovah.

17. As e dey for Matthew 5:16, how we fit honor our Papa for heaven?

¹⁷ Na really special thing to dey part of Jehovah family for the whole world. We want make plenty people come join us de worship our God. So we need to dey careful so that we no go do anything wey fit make people think bad about Jehovah or e people. We go always try behave well so that we fit draw people to come serve Jehovah.—Read Matthew 5:16.

18. Wetin fit help us make we no fear to preach?

¹⁸ Sometimes, some people fit talk bad about us or even suffer us because we de obey our Papa for heaven. What if we de fear when we de talk to people about the things wey we believe? We fit dey sure say Jehovah and e Son go help us. Jesus tell e disciples say they no need to worry about wetin to talk, or how to talk-am. Why they  no need to worry? Jesus talk say: “God go give wuna wetin wuna go talk that very time. Because no be just wuna go de talk, but the spirit of God go de talk through wuna.”—Matt. 10:19, 20.

19. Give one example of person wey preach with strong heart.

¹⁹ Make we talk about the example of Robert. Before-before, when e be new Bible student and when e no know plenty things about Bible, e explain for one military court for South Africa why e no go join army. E no fear to explain to the court say e no want join army because e love e Christian brothers. E really like as e dey part of our family! Quick-quick, the judge ask Robert say: “Who be your brothers?” Robert no expect that question but, quick-quick, the text for that day come e mind. The text na Matthew 12:50 and the verse talk say: “Anybody wey de do the thing wey my Father for heaven want, na that person be my brother, my sister, and my mama.” Even though say Robert na new Bible student that time, the spirit of Jehovah help Robert to answer that question and other questions wey e no expect. The thing wey Robert do go don really make Jehovah glad! And when we preach with strong heart because we trust Jehovah, even for hard condition, Jehovah go still glad for wetin we do.

20. Wetin we suppose tell ourself say we go do? (John 17:11, 15)

²⁰ Make we continue to thank Jehovah for the blessing wey we get to dey part of e family wey love dey. We get the best Papa wey we fit get and plenty brothers and sisters wey love us. Make we no ever play with wetin we get. Satan and e wicked followers de try to make us doubt the love wey our Papa for heaven get for us, and them de try to scatter the one love wey we de enjoy. But Jesus pray for us and tell Jehovah make E protect us so that this our family go remain as one. (Read John 17:11, 15.) Jehovah de answer that prayer. Like Jesus, make we no ever doubt the love and support wey our Papa for heaven get for us. Make we tell ourself say we go continue to near Jehovah, and our brothers and sisters more-more.
