Wetin Jesus talk na for all Christians, whether them de live inside or outside Jerusalem. (Luke 21:​20-24) When soldiers attack people, the people de normally run enter city wey them fence, like Jerusalem, so that the fence go protect them. To run comot from Jerusalem wey get fence go the mountain area, go be like idea wey no make sense. So them need strong faith to fit obey Jesus command.

10. Wetin strong faith go help Hebrew Christians to do? (Hebrews 13:17)

¹¹ Just like the Hebrew Christians, we too need strong faith. For this our time, plenty people no believe say Satan world go soon end. Them de even laugh us because we believe say e go soon end. (2 Pet. 3:3, 4) Another thing be say, even though say Bible tell us some things wey go happen for great tribulation, plenty things still dey wey we no know. So we need to get strong faith say the end of Satan world go come for the correct time, and say Jehovah go care for us that time.—Hab. 2:3.

12. Wetin go help us fit survive great tribulation?

¹² We need to continue to trust “the faithful and discreet slave” say na Jehovah de use them direct us for this our time. (Matt. 24:45) When great tribulation start, we fit receive direction wey go save our life, just the way Hebrew Christians receive direction when Rome soldiers surround Jerusalem. 13. Why the advice for Hebrews 13:5 really dey important for Hebrew Christians?

¹³ As Hebrew Christians de wait for the time wey them go run comot, them need to live simple life and no love money. (Read Hebrews 13:5.) Some of them don suffer well-well because of hunger and poverty. (Heb. 10:​32-34) Even though say them don endure serious problem because of the good news, some of them don de put mind to get more money, so that them go fit use-am protect theirself from danger or poverty. But no amount of money go fit save them when Rome people come destroy Jerusalem. (Jas. 5:3) The truth be say, e go hard anybody wey love money and property, to fit run leave im property for Jerusalem when time reach for them to run comot.

14. How strong faith fit help us make better decisions now about money and property?

¹⁴ If we get strong faith say Jehovah go soon destroy this wicked world, that one go help us make we no de think say to get more money and property na the most important thing. Bible talk say people “go troway their silver for street,” because them don see-am say “their silver or their gold no go fit save them for the day of Jehovah.” (Ezek. 7:19) Instead to de think about how to make more money, we need to make decisions wey go help us fit de care for ourself, our family, and fit worship Jehovah well. This one mean say we no go de borrow-borrow just to buy things, or de spend plenty of our time just to care for the plenty things wey we get. We want still make sure say we no too love things wey we get sotey we no fit leave them. (Matt. 6:​19, 24) As the end of Satan world de near more-more, we need to choose who we trust, whether na Jehovah, or na money and property.

“[WE] NEED TO ENDURE”

15. Why Hebrew Christians need to endure?

¹⁵ Hebrew Christians need to endure as them de worship Jehovah, because them go  soon face serious problem wey go test their faith. (Heb. 10:36) Na true say some of them don face serious problem because them become Christians, but many of them never really face problem wey test their faith. So apostle Paul tell them say make them ready to face serious suffer, and even ready to die because of their faith, just like Jesus. (Heb. 12:4) As plenty Jew people de become Christians, e make many people for Jew people religion vex and cause trouble for the Christians. Some years before Paul write to Hebrew Christians, people attack Paul when e de preach for Jerusalem. E pass 40 men for Jew people religion wey “swear say them no go chop or drink until them don kill Paul.” (Acts 22:22; 23:​12-14) Even though say people go hate Hebrew Christians and suffer them, them go still need to de go meeting, preach the good news, and continue to make their faith strong.

¹⁸ Some of our brothers de endure because people de suffer them because of their faith. One way wey we fit show say we love them, na to de pray for them. Another way na to give them wetin them need when e dey possible. (Heb. 10:33) But Bible make-am clear say, “All the people wey want serve God well as people wey de follow Christ Jesus go still face suffer from people.” (2 Tim. 3:12) Because of this one, all servants of Jehovah need to ready for wetin de come for front.
