You De Learn From the Warning?

You De Learn From the Warning?

“Them go take one, and leave the other one.”MATT. 24:40.

WETIN WE GO LEARN?

We go talk about three story wey Jesus talk, and discuss how them concern the time of judgement wey go happen for the end of this world.

1. Wetin Jesus go soon do?

WE DE live for the time wey things de really change for this world! E no go tey, Jesus go judge everybody wey de live for this earth. Jesus tell im disciples wetin go de happen for the world before the time wey e go judge people. E tell im disciples things wey go happen wey go be “sign” to help them know say e don dey around, and say them de live for “the last days of this world.” (Matt. 24:3) Them write this things for Matthew chapter 24 and 25, and e still dey for Mark chapter 13 and Luke chapter 21.

2. Wetin we go talk about for this article, and why e go help us?

2 To help us prepare for wetin go happen, Jesus talk three story wey be like warning for us. This na the story about the sheep and the goats, the virgins wey get sense and the ones wey no get sense, and the story of the talents. Each story go help us understand how Jesus go judge each person base on im character or wetin e do. For this article, we go talk about this three story and wetin we fit learn from them. The first story wey we go talk about na the story of the sheep and the goats.

THE SHEEP AND THE GOATS

3. Which time Jesus go judge people?

3 For the story of the sheep and the goats, Jesus talk say e go judge people base on how them obey the good news, and how them support im anointed brothers. (Matt. 25:31-46) For great tribulation, Jesus go decide who be sheep and who be goat just before Armageddon start. (Matt. 24:21) Just as shepherd de separate sheep from goats, na so Jesus go separate people wey continue to support the anointed from people wey no support them.

4. As e dey for Isaiah 11:3, 4, why we fit dey sure say Jesus no go do partial as e de judge people? (Still check the picture .)

4 Bible talk say when Jesus go judge people, e no go do partial. (Read Isaiah 11:3, 4.) E de see wetin people de do, the way them de think, wetin them de talk, and how them de treat anointed Christians. (Matt. 12:36, 37; 25:40) Jesus go know who really support im anointed brothers and the work wey them do. a One important way person fit help Jesus brothers na to support them for the preaching work. Na people wey support them Jesus go judge as “righteous” people, and them go get “life wey no go end” for this earth. (Matt. 25:46; Rev. 7:16, 17) This na wonderful blessing for people wey hold God tight! As them continue to hold Jehovah tight for great tribulation and even after the great tribulation, their name go continue to dey for “the book of life.”—Rev. 20:15.

E no go tey, Jesus go judge people as sheep or goats base on how them live their life (Check paragraph 4)

5. Wetin we learn from the story of the sheep and the goats, and who fit gain from-am?

5 Show say you de worship Jehovah well and hold-am tight. Jesus story about the sheep and the goats really concern people wey get the hope to live forever for this earth. Them de show say them get faith when them support Jesus brothers for the preaching work, and as them de follow the direction wey the faithful and discreet slave de give. (Matt. 24:45) But this story still concern people wey get the hope to live for heaven, because them need to put the warning wey dey this story for mind. Why? Because Jesus de watch wetin them de do, the way them de think, and wetin them de talk. So anointed Christians too must show say them hold Jehovah tight. In fact, Jesus talk two other story wey be warning wey concern only anointed Christians. This two story dey for Matthew chapter 25. Now make we talk about the story of the virgins wey get sense and the ones wey no get sense.

THE VIRGINS WEY GET SENSE AND THE ONES WEY NO GET SENSE

6. How five of the virgins show say them get sense? (Matthew 25:6-10)

6 For the story of the virgins, Jesus talk about ten virgins wey carry their lamp comot go meet the man wey de marry. (Matt. 25:1-4) All of them de hope say, them go follow the man wey de marry enter the place wey them de do the marriage party. Jesus talk say five of them “get sense” but the other five no get sense. The virgins wey get sense dey ready and de watch. Them ready to wait for long time for the man wey de marry, even if e mean say e go come for midnight. So, them carry lamps wey get oil wey go help them see for night. Them even carry extra oil, just in case the man wey de marry no quick come. So them ready to make sure say their lamp no quench. (Read Matthew 25:6-10.) When the man wey de marry come, the virgins wey get sense follow-am enter the wedding party. For the same way, anointed Christians wey show say them ready as them continue to de watch, and hold Jehovah tight until the time wey Jesus come, go get their reward. Them go join the Man Wey De Marry wey be Jesus, enter im Kingdom wey dey for heaven. b (Rev. 7:1-3) But wetin go happen to the five virgins wey no get sense?

7. Wetin happen to the five virgins wey no get sense, and why?

7 By the time wey the man wey de marry come, the five virgins wey no get sense no ready. Them see say their lamp go soon quench and them no carry extra oil. When them hear say the man wey de marry go soon come, them comot go buy oil. But the man wey de marry come before them come back. Then “the virgins wey don ready follow-am enter the place wey them de do the marriage party, and them lock the door.” (Matt. 25:10) Later, when the five virgins wey no get sense come back and want enter, the man wey de marry tell them say: “I no know una.” (Matt. 25:11, 12) Them no ready theirself to wait for long time for the man wey de marry. Wetin anointed Christians fit learn from this story?

8-9. Wetin anointed Christians fit learn from the story of the virgins? (Still check the picture.)

8 Show say you always ready and de watch. Jesus no de talk say two different groups of anointed Christians go dey—the ones wey ready to wait until the end of this world, and ones wey no ready to wait. But e de explain wetin fit happen to anointed Christians, if them no ready to endure and hold Jehovah tight reach the end. If e happen like that, them no go get their reward. (John 14:3, 4) This na serious matter! Whether our hope na to live for heaven or for this earth, all of us need to learn from the warning wey dey the story of the virgins. All of us must continue to de watch and always ready to endure go reach the end.—Matt. 24:13.

9 After Jesus talk the story of the ten virgins wey show why e dey important to always ready and de watch, e still talk about the story of the talents. This story of the talents talk about why e dey important to de work hard.

E dey important make we learn from the warning wey dey the story of the virgins as we de watch and dey ready to endure go reach the end (Check paragraph 8-9)

THE TALENTS

10. How the two slave show say them be people wey their oga fit trust? (Matthew 25:19-23)

10 For the story of the talents, Jesus talk about two slave wey use all their heart work for their oga, and one slave wey no want work for im oga. (Matt. 25:14-18) The two slave do wetin show say their oga fit trust them as them work hard to make more money for-am. Before their oga travel go another country, e give them some talents. Talent na money wey them de use for Jesus time and na big money. The two slave wey love their oga really work hard and use the money well. Wetin come happen? When their oga come back, them don make times two of the money wey e give them. Their oga thank them well-well and e tell them say: “Come de happy with your oga.” (Read Matthew 25:19-23.) But what about the third slave? Wetin e do with the money wey im oga give-am?

11. Wetin happen to the “lazy” slave, and why?

11 The third slave receive one talent from im oga, but e dey “lazy.” Wetin im oga want na make e use the money well. Instead, e bury the money for ground. When the oga come back, na only that one talent e give im oga back. The slave na really wicked person. Instead make e talk say e dey sorry as e no make more money for im oga, e talk say im oga na “hard man.” The oga no happy with the slave at all. Wetin the oga come do? E talk say make them collect the talent from-am and throw the slave comot from im house.—Matt. 25:24, 26-30.

12. Who the two slave wey love their oga de represent today?

12 The two slave wey use all their heart work for their oga, represent anointed Christians wey hold Jehovah tight. The Oga na Jesus, and e invite them to “come de happy with [their] oga.” God go bring this anointed Christians back to life for heaven (the first resurrection), and e go give them their reward. (Matt. 25:21, 23; Rev. 20:5b) Another thing be say, the bad example of the slave wey dey lazy na warning for anointed Christians. Why we talk like that?

13-14. Wetin anointed Christians learn from the story of the talents? (Still check the picture.)

13 Show say you de work hard. For the story of the talents and the story of the virgins, Jesus no de talk say anointed Christians go dey lazy. Instead, e de explain say if them no continue to work hard them no go “continue to dey among the people wey God don call and choose,” and them no go enter the Kingdom wey dey for heaven.—2 Pet. 1:10.

14 The story about the virgins and the talents make-am clear say, all anointed Christians must always ready and de watch, and them need to work hard and no dey lazy. But Jesus talk any other thing to warn them? Yes! Wetin Jesus talk for Matthew 24:40, 41 still concern the final judgment of anointed Christians.

Jesus want make anointed Christians continue to work hard go reach the end (Check paragraph 13-14) d

WHICH PERSON “THEM GO TAKE”?

15-16. How wetin dey Matthew 24:40, 41 help anointed Christians see say them need to continue to de watch?

15 Before Jesus talk the three story wey we don talk about, e describe the final judgment of anointed Christians wey go show who God gree make e enter the Kingdom. E talk about two men wey de work for farm and two women wey de grind something for grinding stone. E fit be say the two men de do the same work and the two women de do the same work, but Jesus talk say “them go take one, and leave the other one.” (Read Matthew 24:40, 41.) E come tell im disciples say: “So make una continue to watch because una no know the day wey una Lord de come.” (Matt. 24:42) Jesus still talk something wey be like this one after e don talk the story of the virgins. (Matt. 25:13) This things wey Jesus talk connect with each other? E fit be. Na only people wey God really anoint and wey hold Jehovah tight, Jesus “go take” go im Kingdom for heaven.—John 14:3.

16 Show say you de watch. Any anointed Christian wey no continue to de watch, no go dey among the “people wey [God] don choose” wey e go carry go heaven. (Matt. 24:31) For the same way, all servant of God no matter the hope wey them get, must continue to de watch and continue to worship Jehovah well.

17. Why e no suppose worry us if Jehovah choose to anoint some people for this our time?

17 We don come know the kind person wey Jehovah be, we trust-am say anything wey e do correct, and e no de do partial. Because of this one, e no de worry us if Jehovah choose to anoint some of im servant for this our time. c We remember wetin Jesus talk about the people wey start to work for the 11th-hour for the example wey e give about the vine farm. (Matt. 20:1-16) The people wey them call to work for the vine farm for evening time, receive the same amount of money with the people wey don first start to work for the vine farm. For the same way, no matter the time wey God choose to anoint Christians, them go get their reward for heaven if them continue to worship Jehovah with all their heart.

LEARN FROM THE WARNING

18-19. Wetin we don learn from Jesus story wey we don talk about?

18 Wetin we don learn? For people wey get the hope to live forever for this earth, the story about the sheep and the goats show why e dey important make them continue to worship Jehovah well and hold-am tight now, and for the time of great tribulation. When that time reach, Jesus go judge people wey worship Jehovah well as righteous people, and give them “life wey no go end.”—Matt. 25:46.

19 We still talk about two story wey be warning for anointed Christians. For Jesus story about the virgins wey get sense and the ones wey no get sense, na five of them show say them get sense. Them ready and de watch, de wait for the man wey de marry even if e go take time before e come. But the five virgins wey no get sense no ready. So the man wey de marry no gree make them enter the marriage party. We too must always ready to wait no matter how long e go take before Jesus destroy this wicked world. For Jesus story about the talents, we still talk about two slave wey use all their heart work hard for their oga. As them work hard for their oga, e happy with them, but e reject the slave wey dey lazy. Wetin we learn? We must continue to dey busy de work for Jehovah go reach the end. Finally, we talk about how anointed Christians must continue to de watch so that Jesus “go take” them go heaven go receive their reward. E de really hungry anointed Christians as them de wait for the time when them go go meet Jesus for heaven. After the war of Armageddon, them go be Jesus bride for the marriage of the Lamb.—2 Thess. 2:1; Rev. 19:9.

20. Wetin Jehovah go do for people wey listen to im warning?

20 The time wey Jesus go judge people go soon reach, but we no need to fear. If we continue to hold Jehovah tight, our Papa for heaven wey love us go give us “power wey pass our normal power,” so that we “go fit survive . . . and fit stand for the front of the Son of man.” (2 Cor. 4:7; Luke 21:36) Whether we get hope to live for heaven or for this earth, we fit make Jehovah happy if we learn from the warning of the three story wey Jesus talk. Because of Jehovah special favor, our name go dey for “the book of life.”—Dan. 12:1; Rev. 3:5.
