1-2. Why Jehovah make us to de happy more when we give to people?

 WHEN Jehovah make us, e make us for the way wey we go happy more when we give, pass when we receive. (Acts 20:35) This one no mean say we no de happy when person give us something. The truth be say we de happy when them give us something, but we de happy pass when e be say na we give person something. E really good as Jehovah make us like this. Why?

² Because Jehovah make us like this, we de fit do things wey go make us happy more. We go happy more if we de think about different-different ways wey we fit give to people, and then do-am. Na really better thing say Jehovah make us like this.—Ps. 139:14.

3. Why Bible describe Jehovah as “the happy God”?

³ Because Bible tell us say person wey de give de happy more, this one help us understand why Jehovah na “the happy God.” (1 Tim. 1:11) Na Jehovah be the first Person to give us something, and nobody fit ever give pass Jehovah. Jehovah don give us life and because of-am, “we de waka and we dey [alive].” (Acts 17:28) True-true, “every good gift, and every gift wey complete de come from” our Papa Jehovah.—Jas. 1:17.

4. Wetin we need to do so that we go de happy more-more?

⁴ All of us go like to de happy more-more as we de give to people. So to fit de happy more-more, we need to copy the  way Jehovah de give. (Eph. 5:1) For this article, we go learn about the way Jehovah de give, and wetin we fit do if we feel say people no de thank us for wetin we give them, or do for them. 5. Wetin be some things wey Jehovah de give us?

6. Wetin we learn from Matthew 6:​25, 26?

⁷ Just like Jehovah, we fit give other people wetin them need because we love them. For example, you know brother or sister wey need food or cloth? Jehovah fit use you give the brother or sister wetin e need. Jehovah people no de waste time to help when disaster happen. For example, for the time of coronavirus, some of our brothers and sisters give things like, food, cloth, and other things to the brothers and sisters wey need them. Plenty people still donate money to support the work wey Jehovah organization de do for the whole world. This one make us fit help brothers and sisters wey disaster affect. Them follow the advice wey dey Hebrews 13:16 wey talk say: “Make una no forget to do good and  to share wetin una get with people, because God de really like this kind sacrifice them.”

8. How the power wey Jehovah de give us de help us? (Philippians 2:13)

⁸ Jehovah de give us power. Jehovah get power well-well, im power no de finish, and e de happy to give us the power wey we need. (Read Philippians 2:13.) You don ever pray to Jehovah to give you power to fit run from temptation, or to fit endure some problem wey you de face? You fit don pray to Jehovah for some particular day, say make e give you the power wey you need to fit do wetin you need to do that day. For example, we de train new publishers to fit preach well. Elders de train ministerial servants and brothers wey just baptize to sabi handle assignment for congregation. Brothers and sisters wey sabi construction and maintenance work, de train people wey no too sabi the work when them de build for our organization.

13. How we fit copy Jehovah example when we de train other people?

¹³ When you de train person, make you do your best to copy Jehovah example. Remember say Jehovah de happy to give us sense, e no de hide-am. Just like Jehovah, we de use all our heart teach other people wetin we know. We no want hide some things wey we know, because we de fear say the person wey we de train fit take the work from our hand. And we no want get the kind mind say: ‘Nobody teach me! So anybody wey want sabi wetin I know, make e go learn-am by imself.’ Make any servant of Jehovah no ever think like that. Instead, we de happy to teach other people wetin we know and do our best to train them. (1 Thess. 2:8) And we hope say as time de go, them “go still really qualify to teach other people.” (2 Tim. 2:1, 2) If we de do like that, we and the people wey we de train go sabi more things and de happy more-more.

WETIN WE FIT DO IF E BE LIKE SAY PEOPLE NO VALUE WETIN WE DO FOR THEM?

14. Wetin people de normally do when we do something for them?

¹⁴ When we do good things to people especially for our brothers and sisters, them de normally thank us for wetin we do for them. Them fit send us greeting card to thank us or show say them value wetin we do for other ways. (Col. 3:15) When them do like this, e de make us happy more.

15. Wetin we need to remember if person wey we help no thank us?

¹⁵ But sometimes, people fit no thank us for wetin we do for them. Sometimes, e fit even be like say the person no even care about wetin we do for-am. And e fit even be like say e no care about the time, power, and money wey we spend to fit help-am. If this kind thing happen, wetin fit help us make we no vex? Remember the Bible verse wey we take the topic of this article from, Acts 20:35. No be wetin people do after we help them, de make us happy. So, we fit still decide to continue to de happy even when people no thank us for wetin we do for them. How we fit do this one? Make we talk about some ways wey we fit do-am.

16. Wetin go help us continue to de happy as we de give?

¹⁶ Remember say when you de give to people or help them, na Jehovah example you de copy. Jehovah de give good things to people whether them show say them value-am or them no show-am. (Matt. 5:​43-48) Jehovah don promise us say if we de give and we “no expect anything back,” our “blessing go plenty.” (Luke 6:35) So no vex if sometimes, people no thank you for wetin you do for them. Remember say Jehovah go bless you for the good things wey you do for people, and because you “de give with joy.”—Prov. 19:17; 2 Cor. 9:7.

17. Wetin be the main reason why we de help or de give to people? (Luke 14:​12-14)

And if you no de expect anything back when you help or give to people, you go always happy even when them no show say them value wetin you do.

18. Wetin we no go do if our brothers and sisters no show say them value wetin we do for them, and why?

¹⁸ No think say them no value wetin you do. (1 Cor. 13:7) If people no thank us or show say them value wetin we do for them, we fit ask ourself say: ‘Na true say them no value wetin we do for them or them forget to thank us?’ E fit be say other reason dey wey make them no thank us. Some people fit value wetin we do for them, but them no know how them fit show-am. E fit make them shame say people de help them, especially if na them de help people before. But if we really love our brothers and sisters, we no go think bad about them and we go continue to de happy as we de give.—Eph. 4:2.

19-20. Why e dey important make we dey patient after we don do something for person? (Still check the picture.)

¹⁹ Dey patient. King Solomon write say: “Throw your bread for water, because after plenty days you go see-am again.” (Eccl. 11:1) This one teach us say, some people fit tell us say them value wetin we do for them after long time. See the example of one sister.

²⁰ Many years ago, one circuit overseer wife write letter to one sister wey just baptize and encourage-am say no matter wetin happen, make e continue to hold Jehovah tight. After about eight years, the sister write to the circuit overseer wife and tell-am say: “I feel say I need to write this letter to you and tell you  how you don help me all this years, but you fit no really know. The things wey you talk for the letter wey you write to me that time, really make my mind come down, but na the Bible verse for the letter really touch my heart pass and I no ever forget-am.” a The sister explain some of the problem wey e don face, and e talk say: “Sometimes, everything go just tire me and I go want leave everything and even stop to worship Jehovah. But when I remember the Bible verse wey you write for the letter, e de give me power and help me fit continue to hold Jehovah tight. For this eight years, nothing don ever encourage me reach the message and Bible verse for your letter.” Just think how the circuit overseer wife go don happy to receive this letter “after plenty days”! Just like the sister, people fit show say them value wetin we do for them even after long time.

21. Why e good make we make up our mind to continue to copy the way Jehovah de give?

²¹ As we don talk before, Jehovah make us for special way. Even though say we de happy when we receive something, na when we give to people we de happy pass. E de really sweet us when we fit help our brothers and sisters. And we de happy when them tell us say them value wetin we do. But, whether the person tell us say e value wetin we do or e no tell us, make we de happy say we de do the correct thing. No forget say no matter wetin you give to people, “Jehovah go fit give you pass that one.” (2 Chron. 25:9) The truth be say, nobody fit ever give pass Jehovah! And na Jehovah blessing be the best. So, make we make up our mind to continue to copy the way Jehovah de give.
