E know say e de hungry us to know and serve Jehovah God, the Person wey make us. This one na ‘wetin we need to dey close to God.’ And since Bible call Jehovah “the happy God,” this one mean say people wey de worship-am fit dey happy.—1 Tim. 1:11.

For this article, we go discuss three things wey we need to do wey fit make us really dey happy.

4. Wetin be the number one thing wey we must do if we want really dey happy? (Psalm 1:1-3)

⁴ NUMBER 1: To really dey happy, we must read and study Bible. Jesus talk say the Word of God be like food. People and animal must chop food so that they go fit stay alive. But na only people go fit read the Word of God and they need to do-am. Na wetin make Jesus talk say: “No be only food go give person life but na all the things wey Jehovah talk with e mouth go give person life.” (Matt. 4:4) Make we no allow one day pass wey we no go read this special Word of God wey be Bible. Bible talk say: ‘The person wey de really enjoy the law of Jehovah and e de read-am and think deep about-am day and night, go dey happy.’—Read Psalm 1:1-3.

⁵ For Bible, Jehovah don show us wetin we need to do to fit dey happy for life because e love us. We don learn wetin e get for mind for us. Bible still tell us how we fit near God and wetin we need to do so that e go forgive us. (Jer. 29:11) This truth wey we don learn from Bible de really give us joy!

⁶ We know say Bible get fine-fine advice wey fit help us as we de live our life everyday. Na when we follow this advice, we go really dey happy. Anytime wey you dey sad because of the problem wey you de face, spend more time with Jehovah as you de read Bible and think about wetin you de read. Jesus talk say: “People go dey happy if them de hear wetin God talk and them de do-am!”—Luke 11:28.

7. Wetin fit help you to really gain from the time wey you spend to study Bible?

 ⁷ When we de read Bible, make we spend better time to enjoy wetin we de read. For example, make we talk say person cook your best food. But because you no get enough time to chop the food or because you de think of other things wey de worry you for mind, you chop the food fast-fast and you no really take time to enjoy the taste of wetin you de chop. After you chop finish, you see say you too rush the food and later see say you for slow down to enjoy the taste of wetin you chop. This kind thing don ever happen to you? E fit happen like that when we de read Bible. Sometimes, when we read-am fast-fast, we fit no really enjoy wetin we de read. But try and spend enough time to enjoy Bible as you de read-am. Use your mind de follow wetin de happen as you de read, think of the sound and the voice, and think about wetin you de read. If you read Bible this way, e go add to your joy.

8. How “the faithful and discreet slave” de do the work wey Jesus give them? (Still check footnote.)

⁸ Jesus choose “the faithful and discreet slave” to give us food for the correct time, and we happy say them de really do this work well. * (Matt. 24:45) Everything wey the faithful slave de teach us na from Bible. (1 Thess. 2:13) The things wey them de teach us from Bible de help us know how Jehovah de think. Na this one de make us read Watchtower and Awake! magazines, and articles wey dey jw.org. We de prepare for all our congregation meetings and we still de watch JW Broadcasting^® wey them de do every month. If we de read and study Bible, this one go move us to fit do the second thing wey we must do to fit dey happy.

9. Wetin be the second thing wey we need to do if we want really dey happy?

⁹ NUMBER 2: If we really want dey happy we need to follow the laws wey Jehovah give. Bible talk say: “Person wey de fear Jehovah and de do wetin E want, go dey happy.” (Ps. 128:1) To fear Jehovah mean say we go respect Jehovah and that respect go move us to avoid anything wey go make Jehovah vex. (Prov. 16:6) We continue to do our best to follow the law wey Jehovah don set about wetin good and wetin bad as e dey for Bible. (2 Cor. 7:1) We go really dey happy if we do the things wey Jehovah want and reject the things wey e hate.—Ps. 37:27; 97:10; Rom. 12:9.

10. As Romans 12:2 talk, wetin we must do?

11-12. (a) When we de worry or dey sad, why we need to dey careful? (b) How the thing wey dey Philippians 4:8 fit help us when we de choose the things wey we de use enjoy ourself?

 ¹¹ When we de face some problems or de feel sad, e dey normal to do some things wey go help us stop to de worry about the problems. But make we dey careful so that we no go do something wey Jehovah hate.—Eph. 5:10-12, 15-17.

¹² For the letter wey apostle Paul write to Christians for Philipi, e tell them say make they continue to think about “anything wey dey righteous, . . . anything wey de clean, . . . anything wey dey fine, [and] anything wey good.” (Read Philippians 4:8.) Na true say apostle Paul no de talk about things wey we de use to enjoy ourself, but wetin e write here fit help us to choose the kind thing wey we de use enjoy ourself. Try this one: For the place wey the word “anything” dey for this verse, try use “songs,” “films,” “books” or “video games” to replace-am. When you do this one, e fit help you to really know the things wey dey correct for God eye and the ones wey e no go accept. We really want follow the law wey Jehovah don set. (Ps. 119:1-3) Then, with clean conscience, we fit do the number 3 thing wey go really make us happy.—Acts 23:1.

13. Wetin be the number 3 thing wey we fit do to really dey happy? (John 4:23, 24)

¹³ NUMBER 3: Make sure say na the worship of Jehovah be the number one thing for your life. We need to worship Jehovah because na E make us. (Rev. 4:11; 14:6, 7) So, wetin go dey important pass na to worship Jehovah for the way e want. This one mean say we go worship-am “for spirit and truth.” (Read John 4:23, 24.) We want make holy spirit de guide how we de worship Jehovah so that wetin we de learn go agree with the truth wey dey for Bible. Even if we de live for countries wey they ban our work or wey they no allow us do our work the way we suppose do-am, make the worship of Jehovah still be the number one thing for our life. For now, e don pass 100 brothers and sisters wey dey prison just because they be Jehovah Witness. * Even with that one, they still de do everything wey they fit do to pray, to study, and tell other people about God and e Kingdom! When people de talk bad about us or de suffer us, we dey happy say Jehovah dey with us and e go help us endure.—Jas. 1:12; 1 Pet. 4:14.

14. Wetin happen to one young brother for Tajikistan, and why?

¹⁴ The real life story of our Christian brothers and sisters don show say this three things wey we don talk about de really give true happiness no matter the things wey we de face for life. Make we talk about wetin happen to Brother Jovidon Bobojonov. Brother Jovidon come from Tajikistan and e dey 19 years old. For October 4, 2019, they arrest-am from e house put-am for prison for many month and treat-am like criminal because e no gree join army. The news about the bad way wey they treat Brother Jovidon spread for many country. The news people talk say they beat-am and try to force-am make e join army and still force-am make e wear soldier uniform. As Jovidon no gree for them, they carry-am go court and court judge the matter and send  our brother go prison. But after some time, the president of e country free-am and talk say make they release-am. Throughout this time, Jovidon no leave Jehovah and e still dey happy. How this one fit dey possible? Na because e know say person go gain when e live e life the way God want.

15. How Jovidon fit read and study Bible for prison?

¹⁵ When Jovidon dey for prison, e continue to learn about Jehovah, even though say e no get Bible or any of our book them. How e do-am? Brothers and sisters for e area de always carry food for bag go give-am and them de write the Bible verse for each day, from our book, Learn From Bible Everyday, for the back of the bag. Na like that e fit read Bible everyday and de think about wetin e de read. After they free-am from prison, Brother Jovidon get this advice for everybody wey never face this kind suffer. E talk say: “E dey important make we use the time wey we get now well to really learn about Jehovah as we de read and study Bible and our book them.”

16. Wetin Jovidon de think-about when e dey for prison?

¹⁶ Brother Jovidon obey the law wey Jehovah give. Brother Jovidon no think about things wey no clean and e no do bad thing. Instead, e continue to think about wetin go  make Jehovah happy. Jovidon really enjoy to see the wonderful things wey God don make. Every morning when e wake up, e always de enjoy-am as bird de sing. And for night, e always de look up to see and think about the moon and stars. E talk say: “I see this things wey God don make as gift from Jehovah and they really encourage me and make me happy.” When we show say we love the different-different things wey Jehovah don give us, this one go give us joy, and that joy go give us the power to endure.

17. How wetin dey 1 Peter 1:6, 7 fit help person wey de face the kind situation wey Jovidon face?

¹⁷ Jovidon still put the worship of Jehovah as number one thing for e life. E know say e really dey important to continue to hold Jehovah tight. Jesus talk say: “Na only Jehovah your God you must worship, and na e alone you must serve.” (Luke 4:8) The soldiers want make e stop to be Jehovah Witness. But e pray from e heart everyday de beg Jehovah make e help-am make e get strong faith so that e no go stop to worship-am. Even with the bad way wey them suffer Jovidon, e no gree do the things wey they force-am make e do. Because of this one, Jovidon don get something wey e no get before they arrest-am, beat-am and put-am for prison. And that thing na faith wey they don test.—Read 1 Peter 1:6, 7.

18. How we fit continue to dey happy?

¹⁸ Jehovah know wetin we need to really dey happy. If you follow this three things wey we don talk about, you fit continue to dey happy even when you de face problems. Then, you too go fit talk say: “The people wey their God na Jehovah go dey happy!”—Ps. 144:15.
