² We no fit force other people to trust us. We need to show other people say they fit trust us with wetin we de do. They don talk-am say trust be like money. To get money really hard but to spend-am dey easy. We fit trust Jehovah finish. We de always trust Jehovah because we “trust everything wey e de do.” (Ps. 33:4) And e want make we copy e fine-fine character. (Eph. 5:1) Make we see the example of servants of Jehovah wey copy e fine-fine character and show say other people fit trust them. We go still learn five character them wey go help us be people wey they fit trust.

3-4. How prophet Daniel show say e be person wey they fit trust, and which question this one suppose move us to ask ourself?

³ Prophet Daniel na better example of person wey people fit trust. Even though say they don carry-am as slave go Babylon, but the things wey e do make people know-am as person wey they fit trust. People even trust-am more when Jehovah help-am to tell King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon the meaning of e  dream. E get one time wey Daniel go tell the king one strong message say Jehovah no happy with the king. That kind message no de sweet to hear especially for King Nebuchadnezzar wey get hot temper. Daniel really need strong heart! (Dan. 2:12; 4:​20-22, 25) Plenty years after that time, Daniel still show say e be person wey they fit trust when e talk the meaning of one strange message wey appear for the palace wall for Babylon. (Dan. 5:5, 25-29) After some time, even Darius and e chief them notice say Daniel na person wey really get sense. They see-am say Daniel na person wey they fit trust, wey de do e work well, and wey de talk true. (Dan. 6:3, 4) Yes, even people wey de worship idol know say Daniel na person wey they fit trust!

8. How we fit dey careful as we de try to know our brothers and sisters well? (Proverbs 11:13)

⁸ We love our brothers and sisters, and we really want know how them dey. But we want dey careful and no de try know some things about them wey we no suppose know. Some Christians for the time of the apostles “de gossip and put mouth for other people matter wey no concern them, and de talk things wey they no suppose to talk.” (1 Tim. 5:13) We no go want be like them. But what if person tell us e matter and beg us make we no tell any other people. Maybe for example, one sister tell us about the kind sickness wey e get or some other problem wey e de face, and beg us say make we no ever tell anybody. Make we show respect for the sister and do wetin e talk. * (Read Proverbs 11:13.) Now make we see other areas wey really dey important make we no talk matter wey we no suppose talk.

9. How people for family fit show say they fit trust them?

⁹ Be person wey they fit trust for family. Each person for family must keep some family matter wey they no suppose talk. For example, one Christian sister fit get one behavior wey no too good. E go make sense make the husband start to tell other people about how e wife de behave and make e wife de shame? E no go make sense! Why? Na because e love e wife, and e no go ever want  do anything wey go pain e wife. (Eph. 5:33) Make papa and mama know say they go need to show some respect for their young pikin them. They no go de tell other people about the mistakes wey their pikin make as this one fit make their pikin shame. (Col. 3:21) Pikin them need to learn how to use their sense well and no tell other people things about their family wey they no suppose talk, things wey fit make shame catch other people for the family. (Deut. 5:16) When each member for the family de do e best to keep some family matter wey they no suppose talk, this one go make everybody for the family near each other.

10. Wetin e mean to be real friend? (Proverbs 17:17)

¹⁰ Be person wey your friend fit trust. Sometimes for our life, some things fit de worry us for mind wey we for like tell our tight friend. But this one fit hard small because we fit be person wey no de tell people how we de really feel. And we fit still de fear say our friend fit go tell other people wetin we tell-am. But, we really dey happy say we get better friends wey we fit tell exactly how we de feel and they no go tell other people wetin we tell them! This kind person na “real friend.”​—Read Proverbs 17:17.

This one make me trust say when I tell my husband anything wey de worry me or any problem wey I de face, e no go tell anybody.” Yes, all of us like-am when people trust us. But which kind character go fit help us to be people wey they fit trust? Make we see five of them.

12. Explain why love dey important if we want make people trust us?

¹² Love na the number one character wey we must get if we want make people trust us. Jesus talk say the commandment wey high pass na to love Jehovah and our neighbor. (Matt. 22:37-39) Our love for Jehovah de move us to copy e fine example as Person wey we fit trust. For example, the love wey we get for our brothers and sisters still de move us make we no tell other people their private matter. We no go ever want talk anything wey go put them for trouble, make them shame, or make them feel sad.​—John 15:12.

¹⁴ When Christian get deep sense, e go know the time “to keep quiet” and time “to talk.” (Eccl. 3:7) For some culture, them de talk say: “To talk be like silver and to keep quiet be like gold.” That one mean say, e get time wey e better make person keep quiet instead of to de talk. Proverbs 11:12 give this advice: “The person wey get deep sense de keep quiet.” Make we see this example. Them de always ask one elder wey get experience make e go help some congregation wey get problem. When another elder talk about the way e de do e work, e talk say: “The brother de always dey careful. E no de tell us matter wey we no suppose know about other congregation them.” The deep sense wey this brother get, as e no de talk matter wey concern other congregation, don make the elders for e own congregation really respect-am. Them dey sure say e no go talk their own matter to other people.

15. Give one example wey show say to de talk true fit make other people trust us?

¹⁵ Another character wey we need for people to trust us na to de talk true. We trust person wey de talk true for everything. (Eph. 4:25; Heb. 13:18) For example, if you go like know how to teach pass before, and you want invite somebody to come listen to your talk and give you better advice, who you go invite wey go give you correct advice? You go invite person wey go only come praise you or na person wey go still sofri tell you how the talk  really be? The answer dey clear. Bible talk say: “Correction wey eye fit see better pass love wey eye no fit see. Better friend de give correction even when person fit no like-am.” (Prov. 27:5, 6) Our better friend fit no tell us wetin we go like hear, but if we follow e advice, we go gain from-am later.

And for us to be that kind person, we need to de control ourself.

17. How we fit make the trust wey we get for our congregation grow?

¹⁷ We really dey happy say Jehovah don draw all of us near our brothers and sisters wey love us and wey we fit trust! All of us must work hard to show say we be people wey our brothers and sisters fit trust. As we continue to show love, dey humble, use deep sense, de talk true, and de control ourself, e go make the trust wey we get for congregation continue to grow. We need to continue to work hard to show say we be people wey they fit trust. Make we copy the example of our God, Jehovah and continue to show say we be people wey they fit trust.
