Since when I be small pikin I don love things for nature. My family de like go fine-fine forests and lakes for around our town Jyväskylä, for Central Finland. I still love animals. When I still dey small, I de like to hold every cat and dog wey I see! As I de grow, e de worry me when I see as people de treat animals for bad way. After some time, I join one group and them de fight for the right of animals, and there I meet people wey de think like me.

We de do different things to fight for the right of animals. We tell people about the rights of animals and we go different-different place to talk against shops wey de sell hair of animals and laboratory where them de use animals do test. We even form one new organization to protect animals. Because we de always do plenty things to make sure say change dey, we de always enter trouble with people for government. They arrest me and take me go court plenty times.

As I de think about animals, the problems wey I de see for this world still de worry me for mind. After, I join some other organizations, like Amnesty International and Greenpeace. I use all my power support everything wey them de do. I de talk to defend poor people and people wey they no fit defend theirself.

But small-small, I start to see say I no fit change the world. Even as this organizations try to solve some small problems, the big problems just de increase more-more. E just be like say wicked things dey everywhere for this world and nobody want do anything about-am. I just feel say I no get power to do anything.

As I know say I no fit do anything to help, e make me sad, then I start to think about God and the Bible. I don study Bible with Jehovah Witness people before. Na true say I like-am as Jehovah Witness people dey kind to me and get my time, but that time, I no ready to change my life. But now, the way I de see things don change.

I take my Bible and start to read-am. This one really comfort me. I see plenty Bible verses and them de teach us to treat animals well. For example, Proverbs 12:10 talk say, “good people de care for their animals.” (Good News Translation) I still see say no be God de cause the problems for the world. Instead, our problems de increase because plenty people no de do wetin God talk. E really touch my heart when I learn for Bible say Jehovah de show love and e dey patient.—Psalm 103:8-14.

Around that time, I see one form wey person go need to fill to get the book What Does the Bible Really Teach? and I fill the form and send-am. E no take time one Jehovah Witness husband and wife come my house and tell me say they want study Bible with me, and I gree. I start to attend Christian meetings for Kingdom Hall. This one make me start to like wetin I de learn for Bible.

Bible really help me change plenty things for my life. I stop to smoke and overdrink. I start to dress well and stop to talk bad-bad words. And I start to change the way I de see people for government. (Romans 13:1) I still stop to put hand for sex wey God no like, and for this one I no de fit control myself before.

Wetin hard for me pass na to stop to support this organizations wey I join. E no easy for me to do this one. I first de feel say if I stop to support this organizations e go be like say I don abandon them. But after, I start to see say na only the Kingdom of God fit solve the problems for the world. I decide say I go use all my power support the Kingdom of God and help other people learn about that Kingdom.—Matthew 6:33.

That time wey I de fight for people and animals, I de put people for two groups, one group na good people, the other group na bad people. And I ready to fight against people wey I see as bad people. But Bible don help me, I no de hate people again. Instead, I de try to get Christian love for everybody. (Matthew 5:44) One way wey I de show this love na to preach the good news about the Kingdom of God. I dey happy to see how this good news de make people dey as one, de give them joy and real hope.

Because I don leave everything for Jehovah to handle e don give me peace of mind. I dey sure say God wey make everything, no go allow make them de treat people and animals for bad way forever, and e no go allow make they destroy this fine earth. Instead, small time, God go use e Kingdom stop all the bad things wey people de do. (Isaiah 11:1-9) E de give me joy to know this truth and to still help other people to believe this truth. Now, I no de feel say I need to change the world again.
