They Use the Plenty Wey They Get, Help Others Wey No Too Get

OCTOBER 1, 2020

For more than 200 different countries, Jehovah Witness them de do important work to help people learn about God and help them for other ways. But na only about 35 of this countries get money wey go reach to care for all the things wey they need. How brothers de get the things wey they need for this countries wey the people no too get money?

The Governing Body of Jehovah Witness de check wetin brothers and sisters for every part of the world go need to learn about God and do the work to help other people. Them de use the money wey them get well. If the contributions wey one country get don plenty pass wetin they need, they go send the remaining contributions to another country wey they no too get. This arrangement follow the example of the Christians for Bible time. They help each other so that “everything go dey equal.” (2 Corinthians 8:14) They use the plenty wey they get to help other Christians wey their own no reach.

How our brothers de feel when they get this kind support from other countries? For example, for Tanzania, more than half of the people for the country no de get reach 1,100 francs or 700 naira to spend for one full day. They use the support from other countries to rebuild the Kingdom Hall wey the Mafinga Congregation de use. The congregation talk say: “Since they rebuild our Kingdom Hall, the number of people wey de come meeting don plenty pass before! We really thank Jehovah organization and our brothers and sisters for the whole world as them get open hand. Na their open hand de make us enjoy this fine place to worship Jehovah now.”

Some of our brothers for Sri Lanka no get food to chop because of the COVID-19 disease. Imara Fernando and e small son, Enosh, na one of them. Now they don get some of the things wey they need because of the support from brothers for other countries. Two of them design one card, and inside the card, they write say: “We thank the brothers wey don show us love for this hard time. We really dey happy say we be part of this family, and we de always pray say make Jehovah help all our brothers and sisters for this last days.”

Imara and Enosh Fernando

No matter where our brothers and sisters de live, them de always like to share the things wey they get with others. For example, Enosh make one small box for eself wey e de use to save money, so that e too go fit de contribute to help other families wey they need help. Guadalupe Álvarez na one of our sister wey de show open hand for the same way. E de live for one area for Mexico wey many people no get money and people no even get better work wey fit de give them money everytime. But e still de contribute as e power reach. E talk say: “I thank Jehovah because e dey good and e love no de ever fail. I know say they go add my contribution join other people own and they go fit use-am help our brothers wey need help.”

When any of our branch office send money to place wey brothers need help, them de always dey happy. Anthony Carvalho na one of the Brazil Branch Committee member. E talk say, “For many years, the work for our country really need support from brothers from other countries. Because of the support wey we get, we see how things de move. Now, we too don get small money pass before, and we dey happy to de support our brothers and sisters for other countries. Our brothers de see the preaching work as work wey they need to do for the whole world, and them de see how they fit support the work as disciples of Jesus.”

Wetin be the best way for Jehovah Witness to support their brothers and sisters wey need help? No be to send money go any branch office for other countries, but na to make their contribution to support the work for the whole world. They fit do this one when they put their contribution for the box wey they write “Worldwide Work” or for donate.pr418.com. We de really value all this contributions.
