(Acts 3:15) For heaven, Jesus get the power “to save people wey use e name pray to God, because e always dey alive to beg for them.”—Hebrews 7:25.

Why we need make Jesus de beg for us?

 All of us de sin. (Romans 3:23) Sin de block us from God, and de bring death. (Romans 6:23) But Jesus de talk to God for people wey show say they get faith for e death. (1 John 2:1, footnote) E de beg for them, de ask God to hear their prayer and forgive their sin because of the death of Jesus. (Matthew 1:21; Romans 8:34) God de do this things wey Jesus beg for, because this things agree with wetin E want. God send Jesus to this earth “to save the world through e Son.”—John 3:17.

Na only when we believe in Jesus God go save us?

 No. Even though say we must believe in Jesus if we want make God save us, we need to do other things. (Acts 16:30, 31) Bible talk say: “Just as body wey no get spirit don die, na so faith wey no get work don die.” (James 2:26) If we want make God save us, we must:

•   Learn about Jesus and e Father, Jehovah.—John 17:3.

•   Continue to get faith for them.—John 12:44; 14:1.

•   Show say we get faith for them as we de do wetin they tell us to do. (Luke 6:46; 1 John 2:17) Jesus teach say no be everybody wey de call me “Lord” na e God go save but na only people wey de “do the things wey my Father for heaven want.”—Matthew 7:21.

•   Continue to show say we get faith even when we de face problem. Jesus make-am clear when e talk say, person wey “endure reach the end go survive.”—Matthew 24:13.
