UPAWULOS WATYHOLWA NGOKUNGABI NAZIGQIBO

Nanku umbuzo ophakamayo, Kwezi meko ngaba umpostile uPawulos ‘wayeqhula,’ ewuthatha lula lo mbandela? Nakanye! Igama eliguqulelwe ngokuthi ‘ukuqhula’ lithetha ukungathembeki, umntu olala neli avuke neliya nongazigciniyo izithembiso. Umbuzo kaPawulos othi, “izinto endizicebayo, ndiziceba ngokwenyama na?” umele ukuba wenza kwacaca kubazalwana baseKorinte ukuba ukujika kwakhe kwindlela awayecebe ngayo kwakubangelwe ziimeko, kungekhona ukungathembeki.

UPawulos wazikhaba ngawo omane ezo zityholo, wathi: “Kodwa kunokuthenjelwa kuThixo ukuba uEwe wethu akangoHayi.” (2 Kor. 1:18) Kuyacaca ukuba, xa uPawulos walutshintshayo olo hambo luya eKorinte wayelungiselela kwa-abo bazalwana noodade balapho. Kweyesi-2 kwabaseKorinte 1:23, sixelelwa ukuba wajika ngenxa ‘yokwazelelela bona.’ Enyanisweni, wabanika ithuba lokuba balungise izinto ngaphambi kokuba afike. Kanye njengokuba wayenethemba, ngoxa elapho eMakedoni, uPawulos weva ngoTito ukuba ileta yakhe yabachukumisa, babuhlungu baza baguquka, nto leyo eyamvuyisa gqitha.—2 Kor. 6:11; 7:5-7.

‘UAMEN’ OTSHIWO KUTHIXO

Noko ke, uPawulos wakhumbuza abaseKorinte ukuba nguye owayeshumayele ngoYesu Kristu kubo. “Kuba uNyana kaThixo, uKristu Yesu, esashumayela ngaye phakathi kwenu, oko kukuthi, mna noSilvano noTimoti, akazange abe nguEwe ukanti enguHayi, kodwa uEwe uye waba nguEwe kuye.” (2 Kor. 1:19) Ngaba kwakukho ukungathembeki okuthile kuYesu Kristu owayengumzekelo kuPawulos? Nakanye! Kubo bonke ubomi nobulungiseleli bakhe, uYesu wayesoloko ethetha inyaniso. (Yoh. 14:6; 18:37) Ukuba oko kwakushunyayelwa nguYesu kwakuyinyaniso yaye kunokuthenjwa wabe noPawulos eshumayela kanye kona, naye ke lo mpostile wayemele athenjwe.

Kakade ke, uYehova ‘nguThixo wenyaniso.’ (INdu. 31:5) Oku sikubona kula mazwi kaPawulos alandelayo: “Kungakhathaliseki ukuba zininzi kangakanani na izithembiso zikaThixo, ziye zaba nguEwe ngaye” uKristu. Ukugcina kukaYesu ingqibelelo yakhe ngoxa wayesemhlabeni kwacima nawaphi na amathandabuzo anokuba khona ngezithembiso zikaYehova. UPawulos wongez’ esithi: “Ngoko ke kwangaye kuthiwa ‘Amen’ kuThixo ukuze azukiswe ngathi.” (2 Kor. 1:20) UYesu usisiqinisekiso, okanye ‘uAmen,’ sokuba zonke izithembiso zikaYehova uThixo ziza kuzaliseka!

Kanye njengokuba uYehova noYesu besoloko bethetha inyaniso, noPawulos  wayengaxoki. (2 Kor. 1:19) Wayengengomntu ongathembekanga, okanye owenza izithembiso “ngokwenyama.” (2 Kor. 1:17) Kunoko, ‘wayehamba ngokomoya.’ (Gal. 5:16) Wayesoloko ebanqwenelela okuhle abantu. UEwe wakhe wayenguEwe!

NGABA OWAKHO UEWE NGUEWE?

Kule mihla yethu, iqhelekile into yokuba abantu abangaphili ngokuvisisana neBhayibhile benze izithembiso baze bangazigcini kwakuvela ingxaki nje encinane okanye enye into ebhetele. Xa abantu beqhuba amashishini, ‘uewe’ akasoloko ‘enguewe,’ nditsho nokuba sele kukho isivumelwano esibhaliweyo. Umtshato, osisivumelwano phakathi kwabantu ababini, awusagqalwa ngabaninzi njengeqhina elihlala lihleli. Kunoko, indlela elintinge ngayo inani labantu abaqhawula umtshato ibonisa ukuba bawujonga njengento nje yexeshana onokuyishiya xa ukruqukile.—2 Tim. 3:1, 2.

Kuthekani ngawe? Ngaba owakho uEwe nguEwe? Ewe kona, njengokuba sele kuchaziwe ngaphambili, kusenokunyanzeleka ukuba ujike kwisivumelwano obusenzile ngenxa yeemeko ezingaphaya kwamandla, kungekhona ngenxa yokungathembeki. Kodwa ukuba njengomKristu wenza isithembiso okanye isivumelwano, zama kangangoko unako ukusigcina. (INdu. 15:4; Mat. 5:37) Xa usenjenjalo, uya kwaziwa njengomntu onokuthenjwa, umntu oligcinayo ilizwi lakhe nonenyani. (Efe. 4:15, 25; Yak. 5:12) Xa abantu bebona ukuba unokuthenjwa kwizinto ezincinane, baya kukuphulaphula xa ushumayela kubo ngoBukumkani bukaThixo. Ngoko masiqinisekise ukuba uEwe wethu nguEwe!
