UYesu usesendlini yomFarisi ibe usandokuphilisa umntu onesifo esimenza adumbe. Uqaphela ukuba abantu abamenyiweyo bazikhethela ukuhlala kwiindawo zabona bantu babalulekileyo, ibe usebenzisa loo nto ukuze abafundise ngokuthobeka.

Uthi: “Xa umenywe kwitheko lomtshato, sukuhlala kwindawo yabona bantu babalulekileyo. Kusenokwenzeka ukuba kukho umntu omenyiweyo obaluleke ngaphezu kwakho. Aze lowo ukumemileyo eze kuwe athi, ‘Suka kuhlale lo mntu.’ Uza kusuka apho uyokuhlala kweyona ndawo isemva.”​—Luka 14:8, 9.

Emva koko uthi: “Xa umenyiwe, hlala kweyona ndawo isemva, ukuze lo mntu ukumemileyo athi kuwe, ‘Mhlobo, yiya ngaphambili.’ Uza kutsho uhlonitshwe ngabo bonke abantu abalapho.” Le nto ibaluleke ngaphezulu kokuba nembeko. Kaloku uYesu uthi: “Kuba wonke umntu oziphakamisayo uza kuthotywa, nalowo uzithobayo uza kuphakanyiswa.” (Luka 14:10, 11) Ufundisa abantu abammameleyo ukuba bathobeke.

Uthetha ngenye into enokufundwa ngulo mFarisi ummemileyo. Umchazela ngabantu amele abameme ukuze avuyise uThixo. Uthi: “Xa umema abantu kwisidlo sasemini okanye kwesangokuhlwa, sukubiza abahlobo bakho okanye abantakwenu okanye izalamane zakho okanye abamelwane bakho abazizityebi. Kuba kusenokwenzeka nabo bakumeme. Kodwa xa unesidlo, mema amahlwempu, abantu abakhubazekileyo, abaqhwalelayo, nabangaboniyo; uza kutsho wonwabe kuba bona abanakukwazi ukukwenzela nto. Wena uza kuvuzwa xa kuvuswa amalungisa.”​—Luka 14:12-14.

Kuqhelekile ukumema abahlobo, abantu ozalana nabo okanye abamelwane ekhayeni lakho ukuba bazokutya ibe uYesu akathi imbi loo nto. Kodwa ubonisa ukuba ukumema abantu abadingayo njengamahlwempu, abaqhwalelayo, nabangaboniyo kungakunceda usikelelwe. UYesu uthi kulo mFarisi: “Uza kuvuzwa xa kuvuswa amalungisa.” Omnye weendwendwe uyavuma athi: “Wonwabile umntu oza kutya eBukumkanini bukaThixo.” (Luka 14:15) Uyayibona ukuba yinyhweba le. Kodwa ayingabo bonke abantu abayibonayo loo nto. UYesu uphinda enze omnye umzekelo.

Uthi: “Kwakukho indoda eyayiza kuba nesidlo sangokuhlwa esikhulu, imeme abantu abaninzi. Yathumela ikhoboka layo ngexesha lesidlo ukuba liyokuthi kwabo bamenyiweyo, ‘Yizani kuba ukutya sekulungile.’ Bonke bathi abazukukwazi ukuza. Owokuqala wathi, ‘Ndithenge amasimi ibe ndiyokuwabona; ndixolele, andizukukwazi ukuza.’ Omnye wathi, ‘Ndithenge iinkomo ezilishumi ibe ndisaya kuzihlola; ndixolele, andizukukwazi ukuza.’ Waza omnye wathi, ‘Ndisandul’ ukutshata, ngoko andizukwazi ukuza.’”​—Luka 14:16-20.

Azivakali ezi zinto zithethwa ngaba bantu! Ngokuqhelekileyo umntu uhlola amasimi okanye iinkomo zakhe ngaphambi kokuba azithenge, ngenxa yaloo nto akungxamisekanga ukuba bayokuzihlola ngoku. Yena lo umntu wesithathu akawulungiseleli umtshato, sele etshatile. Ngoko loo nto ayimele imnqande xa emenywe kwisidlo esibalulekileyo. Le ndoda ibamemileyo xa isiva zonke ezi zinto iyacaphuka ize ithi kwikhoboka layo:

“Khawuleza uye kwizitrato ezikhulu nakwiindlela ezisesixekweni, ubize amahlwempu, abakhubazekileyo, abangaboniyo nabaqhwalelayo.” Ikhoboka liyayenza le nto kodwa indlu ayigcwali. Inkosi yalo iphinde ithi: “Hamba uye ezindleleni, uze nabantu, ukuze indlu yam igcwale. Kuba ndithi kuni, akukho nomnye kwaba bantu bendibamemile oza kutya ukutya kwam.”​—Luka 14:21-24.

Le nto igqibokubaliswa nguYesu ibonisa indlela uYehova uThixo noYesu Kristu abaye babamema ngayo abantu ukuze bafumane uBukumkani bamazulu. AmaYuda, ingakumbi iinkokheli zenkonzo yawo, ebengawokuqala ukumenywa. Kodwa amaYuda amaninzi aye awasamkela esi simemo xa uYesu ebeshumayela. Kodwa ayingawo odwa aza kumenywa. UYesu ubonisa ngokucacileyo ukuba kwixesha elizayo kuza kumenywa abantu abaguqukele kubuYuda namanye amaYuda ajongelwa phantsi ziinkokheli zenkonzo yamaYuda. Emva koko, abantu besithathu nabokugqibela ukumenywa ngabo amaYuda athi abafaneleki ukuba phambi koThixo.​—IZenzo 10:28-48.

Le nto ithethwa nguYesu ibonisa indlela ayinyani ngayo amazwi athethwe ngomnye wabantu abamenyiweyo, oye wathi: “Wonwabile umntu oza kutya eBukumkanini bukaThixo.”
