1. Tãi ta, kili-ŋa-sia kɛɛ leŋ ɓe a pa Ziova fɛli-ɓela taŋa pɔi?

IT CAN comfort us to know that Jehovah happy with all his people! The Bible say: “Jehovah takes pleasure in his people.” (Ps. 149:4) But sometime, some of them can really get discourage and start thinking, ‘I wonder Jehovah happy with me?’ Sometime, some of God faithful people in the Bible use to feel that God not happy with them.—1 Sam. 1:6-10; Job 29:2, 4; Ps. 51:11.

2. Gbɛɛ-ni ɓe Ziova lii laai dimaa mɛni mai?

2 The Bible make it clear that imperfect people can make Jehovah happy. How? We must show that we get faith in Jesus Christ and get baptize. (John 3:16) When we do this one, we show that we na repent from our sins and we promise to do God will. (Acts 2:38; 3:19) Jehovah can really be happy when we do this thing them to get close friendship with him. So long we continue to do our best to live by our promise, Jehovah will be happy with us and he will take us to be his close friends.—Ps. 25:14.

MƐNII A GƐ ZIOVA FƐLI-ƁELA TAŊA DIKƐ GAA YƐƐ NII FE LAA NI DIMAA MƐNI MAI

4-5. Berei maŋ kwa pɔri kɛi gaai la yɛɛ kumaa mɛni fe kpanani, le ɓe kwa pɔri kɛi a kulaa la?

4 From the time we were small, plenty of us been feeling that we not important. (Ps. 88:15) One brother name Adrián say: “I always use to feel that I not important. When I was small boy, I can remember I use to pray for my family to live in Paradise, but I was sure that I myself was not qualify to live there.” Tony who family was not Jehovah Witness say: “My ma and pa never tell me that they love me or they were happy with me. It made me feel that I can’t do anything that can make them happy.”

5 If sometime we can feel that we not important, we must remember that Jehovah himself draw us close to Him. (John 6:44) He can see the good qualities in us that we can’t see in ourselves sometime, and he know us more than the way we know ourselves. (1 Sam. 16:7; 2 Chron. 6:30) So when Jehovah say we important to him, we can trust him.—1 John 3:19, 20.

6. Zia-nuui Pɔɔ lii e kɛ leŋ e pilaŋ zɔnyɔŋ-ŋai dia e gɛ a bɔlɔi?

6 Before we learn the truth, some of us use to do things that still making us to feel guilty. (1 Pet. 4:3) Even faithful Christians get weakness that they still fighting against. Sometime you can still feel guilty? If you can feel like that, it can encourage you to know that some of Jehovah faithful people use to fight with this same type of feelings. For example, the apostle Paul really use to feel bad when he think about the mistakes he made. (Rom. 7:24) That true, Paul repent from his sins and got baptize. But still, he call himself “the least of the apostles” and the “foremost” sinner.—1 Cor. 15:9; 1 Tim. 1:15.

7. Le ɓe maa nɛ̃ɛi e lɛɛ kukilii-ŋa e pilaŋ zɔnyɔŋ-ŋai dia ku gɛ a bɔlɔi?

7 Our heavenly Father promise to forgive us if we repent. (Ps. 86:5) So if we really sorry for the sins we na commit, we can be sure that Jehovah na forgive us.—Col. 2:13.

8-9. Kuyee a pɔri tɛɛi leŋ gili-ŋa-siai ma a gɛɛ kufa wɔlɔ pɔri Ziova lii laai?

8 All of us want try our best to serve Jehovah. But some people can feel that they can never do enough to make Jehovah happy. One sister name Amanda say: “I use to think that giving Jehovah my best mean I must always do more. So most of the time, I can try to do more than what I able to do. Then when I not make it, I can start thinking that Jehovah feeling bad about me the same way I feeling bad about myself.”

9 How we can overcome the feeling that we not able to do enough to make Jehovah happy? Remember that Jehovah reasonable. He can’t ask us to do more than what we able to do. He can be grateful for anything we do for him so long that our best. Also, think on Bible examples of people who serve Jehovah with their whole heart. For example, think about Paul. He really work hard for plenty years. He travel far-far distances and form plenty congregations. But when things change in his life and he was not able to do more in the preaching work, you think God was not happy with him again? No. He continue to do what he was able to do, and Jehovah bless him. (Acts 28:30, 31) That the same way when our situation change, we will not be able to do what we use to do before. But the more important thing to Jehovah that our reason for doing it. Now, let look at some ways that Jehovah can show that he happy with us.

ZIOVA A NƐ LƐŊ A GƐƐ NII LAAI KUMƐNI MA?

10. Pere sii kɛɛ leŋ ɓe kwa pɔri Ziova woo “mɛnii” la a gɛɛ ku wɛli kaa ma? (Zɔŋ 16:27)

10 Through the Bible. Jehovah can look for ways to show his people that he love them and that he happy with them. The Bible talk about two different times that Jehovah tell his Son, Jesus that He love him and He happy with him. (Matt. 3:17; 17:5) You will like for Jehovah to tell you that he happy with you? Jehovah can’t talk to us from heaven but he can talk to us through the Bible. When we read Jesus words in the four Gospel books, it can be like Jehovah saying that he love us. (Read John 16:27.) Jesus really follow his Pa example. So when we read about how Jesus tell his faithful disciples that he was happy with them, we can just imagine Jehovah saying the same thing to us.—John 15:9, 15.

Jehovah can show that he happy with us in plenty different ways (See paragraph 10)

11. Le mɛni ɓe kufe gaa la yɛɛ kwa kɛ tɛɛi mɛni-kpanaŋ su a nɛi a gɛɛ kuwɛli fe Ziova ma? (Zĩi 1:12)

11 He can give us what we need. Jehovah really want help us by giving us the things we need. Sometime, Jehovah can allow bad things to happen to us just how he allow it to happen to the faithful man, Job. (Job 1:8-11) When we going through problems, it not mean Jehovah not happy with us. But problems can give us the opportunity for us to show our deep love for God and that we really trust him. (Read James 1:12.) When we going through problems, we will see that Jehovah really love us and that he will help us to bear it.

12. Le ɓe kwa pɔri maa-kɔrii Dmitrii ŋɔmɛni-kɔɔŋ-maai su?

12 Think about what happen to one brother in Asia name Dmitrii. He lost his job and he was not able to find work for long time. He show that he trust in Jehovah by doing more in the preaching work. Plenty months pass and he still was not able to find work. Then he got seriously sick to the point that he was just laying down one place. He started thinking that he not good husband or father again, and whether Jehovah was still happy with him. Then one evening his daughter write Isaiah 30:15 on one sheet. It say: “Your strength will be in keeping calm and showing trust.” She brought it to him and say, “Papa, when you feeling bad, please remember this scripture.” Dmitrii got to know that his family was having place to live, enough food to eat and clothes to wear. And he tell Jehovah thank you for that. He say, “I just needed to continue trusting in Jehovah and to not worry too much.” If you going through this same problem, you can be sure that Jehovah care for you and he will help you to bear it.

Jehovah can show that he happy with us in plenty different ways (See paragraph 12) a

13. Gbɛɛ-ni ɓe Ziova a pɔri tii kɛi a dia a gɛɛ e ŋɔwɛli-kɛ-maai lɛ kumɛni ma, nyaŋ a pere sii kɛɛ leŋ?

13 Through our brothers and sisters. Jehovah can use our brothers and sisters to tell us that he love us. For example, he can use our brothers and sisters to encourage us when we really feeling bad. That what happen to one sister in Asia when she was really under stress. She lost her job and she got seriously sick. Then her husband commit serious sin and they step him down from being elder. She say, “I never understand why this was happening. I was thinking that maybe I na do something bad and Jehovah was not happy with me again.” Our sister beg Jehovah to help her to see that he still love her. How he do it? She say, “The elders talk with me and help me to see that Jehovah still love me.” Later on, she beg Jehovah to help her again. She say, “That same day I receive one letter from some brothers and sisters in the congregation. When I was reading it, it comfort me and made me feel that Jehovah listen to my prayer.” Yes, Jehovah can always show that he love us through the encouraging words from our brothers and sisters.—Ps. 10:17.

Jehovah can show that he happy with us in plenty different ways (See paragraph 13) b

14. Pere sii takpɛni kɛɛ leŋ ɓe Ziova a ŋɔwɛli-kɛ-maai lɛ la kumɛni ma?

14 Jehovah can also show his love for us by using our brothers and sisters to counsel us when we need it. For example, way back Jehovah use the apostle Paul to write 14 letters to the brothers and sisters. In the letters, the apostle Paul gave straight counsel to his brothers and sisters, but he do it with love. Why Jehovah direct Paul to counsel them? Jehovah that good Father, and he can discipline his children “in whom he delights.” (Prov. 3:11, 12) So when somebody give us counsel from the Bible, it not mean that Jehovah vex with us. But it show that Jehovah still love us. (Heb. 12:6) What other ways we can know that Jehovah happy with us?

MƐNII TAKPƐNI-ŊAI DA ŊƆNƆ NƐ A GƐƐ ZIOVA LII LAAI KUMAA MƐNI MA

15. Gbɛɛ-ni ɓe Ziova a ŋɔmɔleŋ maa-waai tɛɛ dipɔ, nyaŋ le mɛni ɓe nyiŋi a pɔri kili-kɛ-zu tɛɛi la kupɔi?

15 Jehovah can give his holy spirit to people he happy with. (Matt. 12:18) Think on this question, ‘I can show some of the qualities God spirit can produce?’ You more patient with people now than the time you were not serving Jehovah? The more you learn to show the fine qualities that God spirit can produce, that the more you will be sure that Jehovah happy with you!—See the box “ The Fruitage of the Spirit That . . .

16. Gbɛɛ-ni ɓe Ziova a tii kɛ a dia a gɛɛ di duŋ lɛlɛɛi ɓo, nyaŋ nyiŋi a ilii kɛ leŋ? (1 Tɛsɛloniɛŋ 2:4)

16 Jehovah can trust people who he happy with to preach the good news. (Read 1 Thessalonians 2:4.) One sister name Jocelyn was convince about this when she preach the good news to other people. One day when Jocelyn woke up, she was feeling too bad. She say, “I was feeling like I was not doing anything. But I was pioneering, and that day was my field service day. So I pray to Jehovah and went field service.” That morning Jocelyn preach to one kind woman name Mary, who agree to study the Bible. After some months, Mary told Jocelyn that she been praying for God to help her and it was that same time when Jocelyn knock on her door. Thinking about this experience, Jocelyn say, “I was feeling like Jehovah was telling me, ‘I happy with you.’” That true, everybody will not listen to us when we preach to them. But we can be sure that Jehovah can be happy when we do our best to preach to other people.

17. Le ɓe I maa-kɔri mɛnii su vicky e mo e pilaŋ maa-tee-sɛŋ ma? (Ŋule-wooi 5:12)

17 Jehovah can help those who he happy with to benefit from the ransom. (1 Tim. 2:5, 6) But what if we still feel that Jehovah not happy with us even though we get faith in the ransom and we baptize? Remember, we can’t always trust our own feelings, but we can trust Jehovah. He look at those who get faith in the ransom to be righteous and he promise to bless them. (Read Psalm 5:12; Rom. 3:26) When Vicky think good-good on the ransom, it help her. One day, after Vicky think good-good on the ransom, she say: “Jehovah been patient with me for long time. . . . But it was just like I was telling Jehovah: ‘You not able to love somebody like me. Your Son sacrifice not able to cover my sin.’” But by thinking on the ransom, she started feeling that Jehovah love her. We too will feel Jehovah love and know that he happy with us if we think good-good on the ransom.

18. Le ɓe kwa pɔri kɛi a kulaa la a kɛ kwa kanaŋ kuɣala-taa Naŋ wɛlii?

18 Even though we will try our best to do all the things we just talk about, but sometime we can get discourage and start thinking if Jehovah happy with us. If it happen, remember that he can be happy with “those who continue loving Him.” (Jas. 1:12) So continue to get close to Jehovah and try to see all the ways that he will show that he happy with you. Always remember that Jehovah “is not far off from each one of us.”—Acts 17:27.
