“Ka Kɛ A Ŋooi Ŋɔtii-kɛ-ɓela”

“Ka kɛ a ŋooi ŋɔtii-kɛ-ɓela. Kafe kɛ nɔ a mɛni-ɓela.”ZĨ. 1:22.

WHAT THE MAIN POINT?

This article will help us to get strong desire to read the Bible. It will also help us to think about what we read and do what it say.

1-2. Le ɓa Ɣala fɛli-ɓela lii nɛ̃ɛi? (Zĩi 1:22-25)

JEHOVAH and his Son want us to be happy. The person who write Psalm 119:2 say: “Happy are those who observe his reminders, who search for him with all their heart.” Jesus also say: “Happy are those hearing the word of God and keeping it!”Luke 11:28.

2 We who serving Jehovah, we happy people. Why? We get plenty reasons, but one important one that because we can read the Bible every day and try to do what we learn.—Read James 1:22-25.

3. Mɛni lɛlɛɛ kɛɛ leŋ ɓe kwa zɔlɔ ɓo kwa tii kɛ a niawoo-ŋai kwa nono Ŋala-kɔlɔi sui?

3 We get plenty different-different ways we can benefit when we do what we learn from the Bible. And that one important way here we can make Jehovah happy. When we know that we making Jehovah happy, it can make us happy too. (Eccl. 12:13) When we do what we read from the Bible, it can make us to get strong friendship with our family members and our brother and sister them. And maybe that what happening in your life. Also, it can help us to avoid plenty problems that people who not obey Jehovah can face. We can agree with what King David say. After singing about Jehovah law, direction, and judgments in one song, he end it by saying: “In keeping them, there is a large reward.”—Ps. 19:7-11.

4. Le ɓe a gɛ a gbanaŋɔɔ a gɛɛ kukɛ a nooi ŋɔtii kɛ-ɓela?

4 To talk the true, it can’t always be easy to do what we learn from the Bible because we get plenty things to do. But even though we busy, we must find time to read and study the Bible. It will help us to understand what Jehovah want us to do. So, let go over some thing them that will help us to read the Bible every day. We will also talk about what will help us to think on what we read, and see some ways that will help us to do what we learn from the Bible.

TÃI SEE ŊALA-KƆLƆI LONO MƐNI MA

5. Tii-ŋa kɛɛ leŋ ɓe a kutãi damaa siɣe?

5 Plenty of us that serving Jehovah really busy. We can spend plenty time doing things that really important. For example, plenty of us working to provide for our self and our family. (1 Tim. 5:8) Plenty brothers and sisters taking care of their sick or old people. And all of us need to take care of our own health. All this one them can take time. Beside that, we get work to do in the congregation. And one of the main one that to do our best to preach the good news. With all the plenty things you get to do, how you can still find time to read the Bible every day, think on what you read, and then try to do what it say?

6. Ya pɔri Ŋala-kɔlɔi lonoɔ maa mɛni pui leŋ fulɔi? (Ya pɔri ŋɔnɔ votooi kaai.)

6 Bible reading that one of “the more important things” we need to do as Christians, so we must make sure to do it. (Phil. 1:10) Talking about what can make somebody happy, the first part of psalm say: “His delight is in the law of Jehovah, and he reads His law in an undertone day and night.” (Ps. 1:1, 2) It clear that we need to find time to read the Bible. What the best time to read the Bible? It depend on the time that alright for you. But the important thing that to choose time that will help you to read the Bible every day. One brother name Victor say: “I like to do my Bible reading in the morning. Even though I not like waking up soon in the morning, but during that time plenty things can’t disturb me. That time, it can be easy for me to think on what I read.” It can happen to you too? Ask yourself this question, ‘What the best time for me to read the Bible?’

What the best time to read the Bible every day? (See paragraph 6)

IKILI-ŊA SIA E PILAŊ MƐNII MA YA NONOI

7-8. Le ɓa pɔri gɛi kufa mɛni-ŋai ŋa kaa ma nyii kwa nono Ŋala-kɔlɔi sui? Gɔɔŋ-maa lɛ.

7 Sometime, we can read plenty things without taking time to really think about it. You na ever read something and right after that you can’t remember what you read? It na happen to all of us. Sad to say, this one can also happen when we read the Bible. Maybe we plan to read certain number of chapters in the Bible every day. That good thing, but that just the beginning. We must set goals and try to stick to them. (1 Cor. 9:26) If we really want benefit from the Bible we must not only read it.

8 Think on this example here: Rain important for life. But if heavy rain fall in short time, the ground can be too wet. When that one happen, it can’t be good for the plants. Why? Because, the ground need time to suck the water and help the plants to grow. That the same way we must not rush when we reading the Bible, so we can be able to think about what we read and remember them.—Jas. 1:24.

Just how the ground need time to suck the water and make use of the rain, that the same way we need time to think on what we read in the Bible and do what it say (See paragraph 8)

9. Le ɓe maa nɛ̃ɛi ku gɛ kwa gaa a gɛɛ kwa Ŋala-kɔlɔi lonoi a maa felaa?

9 Sometime you can rush when you doing your Bible reading? Then wetin you must do? Take your own time. Try your best to think about what you reading or what you just finish reading. This one must not be hard for you. You can decide to make your study time long, so you can get time to think on what you read. Or maybe you can decide to read few Bible verses and use the balance time to think on what you na read. Victor who we talk about before say, “I can’t do plenty reading. Sometime I can just read one chapter. Since I can do my Bible reading soon in the morning, I able to continue thinking about what I read throughout the day.” Anything you decide to do, remember that it important to take your own time to read, so you can benefit from what you reading.—Ps. 119:97; see the box “ Questions to Think About.

10. Mɛni-kɔɔŋ-maa lɛ nyii berei lɛi ya pɔri tii kɛi la a mɛnii ya maa-kɔrii. (1 Tɛsɛloniɛŋ 5:17, 18)

10 No matter what time you do your Bible reading and how long you do it, make sure to look for ways to do what you learn. When you reading certain part of the Bible, stop and ask yourself this question, ‘The thing them I reading, how I can apply them now-now and in the future?’ For example, let say you reading 1 Thessalonians 5:17, 18. (Read.) After you finish reading this two Bible verses, maybe you can stop small and think about how many time you can pray and whether it really coming from your heart. You can also think about some thing them that you grateful for. Maybe you decide that you will tell Jehovah thank you for three things he do for you. Even if you just spend small time to think on what you read, at least it will help you to understand the Bible and do what it say. When you do it like this every day, you will benefit when you reading other part of the Bible! Yes, you will improve in doing what you learn from the Bible. Suppose you feel that you get plenty things to work on?

MƐNI-KPƐTƐƐ LƐLƐƐ-ŊA KƐ

11. Le ɓe a ilii too polu a tãi taŋa? Gɔɔŋ-maa lɛ.

11 When you read the Bible and look for ways to do what it say, sometime you can feel that it too much for you. For example: Imagine that the first day you doing your Bible reading and you learn that it not good to pick and choose. (Jas. 2:1-8) You notice that you need to improve on how you treat other people, so you decide to make some changes. That good thing! Then the second day you read another part of the Bible that show that it important to be careful about what you say. (Jas. 3:1-12) Then you find out that you can say some thing them that can’t be encouraging sometime. So, you decide that you will encourage people more when you talking with them. Then the third day while doing your Bible reading you learn that we must not be friendly with the world. (Jas. 4:4-12) You notice that you need to be more careful about what you read, watch and listen to. Maybe on the fourth day, you will feel that it too hard for you to make all this changes.

12. Le mɛni ɓe ilii fe too la polu a kɛ Iɣala-kɔlɔi lonoɔi a nɛ ya a gɛɛ maa nɛ̃ɛi I mɛni maa faleŋɔɔ tamaa kɛ? (Ya pɔri ŋɔnɔ fonoi kaai.)

12 If you see that you need to improve in plenty areas, don’t be discourage. This one show that you humble and you want do the right thing. Somebody who humble and honest with their self can read the Bible and look for things that will help them to improve. a Remember that putting on “the new personality”, that not one day thing. (Col. 3:10; Also see the study note “is being made new.”) What will help you to continue doing what you learn from the Bible?

13. Pere sii lɛlɛɛ kɛɛ leŋ ɓe ya pɔri tii kɛi la a mɛnii yaa maa-kɔrii? (Ya pɔri ŋɔnɔ votooi kaai.)

13 Instead of trying to do everything one time, try to do them small-small. (Prov. 11:2) Maybe you can try this: Write the thing them you want work on and keep it. Take one or two and do it first. Then leave the other one for later on. Which one you want start with?

Instead of trying to work on everything one time, try to set goals that you able to reach? Maybe you can just focus on one or two points (See paragraphs 13-14)

14. Mɛni-kpɛtɛɛ kɛɛ leŋ ɓe ya pɔri gɔɔ pilani la?

14 You can decide to start with the goal that easy for you to reach. Or maybe you can decide to work on the one that you really need to improve on. When you decide which one to work on, do deep study in our publications. Maybe you can use the Watch Tower Publications Index or the Research Guide for Jehovah’s Witnesses. Pray about your goal. Ask Jehovah for “both the desire and the power to act.” (Phil. 2:13) Then try to do what you learn. When you see how you na improve on your first goal, it will encourage you to work on another one. When you see that you na improve on one Christian quality, it will be easy for you to work on the other one them.

NƐƐ NAA ƔALA ŊƆWOOI ‘E TII KƐ IKPONOI’

15. Le ɓe Ziova ŋɔnuai kɛ a dakpɛni nua tamaa dia nyii-ŋai da Ŋala-kɔlɔi lonoi? (1 Tɛsɛloniɛŋ 2:13)

15 Some people say they na read the Bible plenty time. But you think they really believe what it say? Or you think they can do what it say or allow it to change their life? Sad to say, the answer that no. But it different from the way Jehovah people can treat the Bible! Like the Christian them way back, we accept the Bible “just as it truthfully is, as the word of God.” Beside that, we can try to allow the Bible to change our life.—Read 1 Thessalonians 2:13.

16. Le ɓe a kpɔŋ kua a gɛɛ kukɛ a Ŋooi ŋɔtii kɛ-ɓela?

16 It not always easy to read the Bible and do what it say. Sometime it can be hard to find time to read the Bible. Or maybe we can rush when we reading the Bible, so it can be hard for us to think on what we read. Maybe we will feel discourage because we get plenty things to work on. No matter the problem you facing, don’t feel that you not able to overcome it. With Jehovah help, you can make it. Let all of us continue to accept Jehovah help by not only hearing what the Bible say, but also to do it. We convince that the more we read the Bible and do what it say, that the more we will be happy.—Jas. 1:25.
