Kungani umuntu okuthiwa ‘uSibanibani’ athi wayengase ‘alahlekelwe’ ifa lakhe uma eshada noRuthe? (Ruthe 4:1, 6)
Ezikhathini zeBhayibheli, uma indoda eshadile ishona ingenangane, kunemibuzo okwakudingeka iphendulwe: Kwakuzokwenzekani endaweni yayo? Ingabe igama lomndeni wayo laliyoshabalala unomphela? UMthetho KaMose wawuyiphendula imibuzo enjalo.
Kwakwenzekani endaweni yomuntu oshonile noma obe mpofu wayesethengisa indawo yakhe? Umfowabo noma isihlobo esiseduze sasingayihlenga leyo ndawo noma siyithenge kabusha. Lokho kwakuzokwenza leyo ndawo ihlale ingeyomndeni.—Lev. 25:23-28; Num. 27:8-11.
Lokho kwakungalenza kanjani igama lomndeni womuntu oshonile lingashabalali? Kwakuzosebenza ilungiselelo lokungena umkamufi, okuyilona elasebenza endabeni kaRuthe. Umuntu wayeshada umfelokazi kamfowabo ukuze kube nendlalifa eyayizothatha igama likamufi futhi ithole indawo yakhe njengefa. Leli lungiselelo lothando lalizuzisa nomfelokazi.—Dut. 25:5-7; Math. 22:23-28.
Cabanga ngesibonelo sikaNawomi. Wayeshade nendoda okuthiwa u-Elimeleki. Lapho u-Elimeleki namadodana akhe amabili beshona, uNawomi wasala engenamuntu ozomondla. (Ruthe 1:1-5) Lapho esephindele kwaJuda, uNawomi watshela umalokazana wakhe uRuthe ukuba acele uBhowazi abe umhlengi wendawo yabo. Wayeyisihlobo esiseduze sika-Elimeleki. (Ruthe 2:1, 19, 20; 3:1-4) Kodwa uBhowazi wayazi ukuthi kunesinye isihlobo esiseduze nakakhulu, iBhayibheli lisibiza ngokuthi ‘uSibanibani.’ Ngakho, yisona esasinelungelo lokuqala lokuba umhlengi.—Ruthe 3:9, 12, 13.
Ekuqaleni, lo “Sibanibani” wayezimisele ukusiza. (Ruthe 4:1-4) Nakuba kwakuzodingeka imali ukuze athenge leyo ndawo, wayeqaphela nokuthi uNawomi wayesekhulile engeke esakwazi ukuzala ingane eyayizothola leyo ndawo ka-Elimeleki njengefa. Ngamanye amazwi, le ndawo yayizokwenezela endaweni eyifa likaSibanibani, ngakho lokhu kwakungabonakala kuzoba nenzuzo ekuhambeni kwesikhathi.
Kodwa uSibanibani wawushintsha umqondo lapho ethola ukuthi kuzofanele ashade noRuthe. Wathi: “Ngeke ngikwazi ukuyihlenga ngoba ngingase ngilahlekelwe elami ifa.” (Ruthe 4:5, 6) Wawushintshelani umqondo?
Uma uSibanibani noma omunye umuntu eshada noRuthe bese ethola indodana, leyo ndodana yayizothola indawo ka-Elimeleki njengefa. Lokhu kwakungamenza kanjani uSibanibani ‘alahlekelwe ifa’ lakhe? IBhayibheli alisho, kodwa nazi ezinye izindlela okwakungenzeka ngazo lokho.
Okokuqala, imali ayezothenga ngayo leyo ndawo yayizobhuntsha, ngoba indawo ka-Elimeleki kwakungeke kugcine kungeyakhe. Kwakuzoba eyendodana kaRuthe.
Okwesibili, kwakuzomele ondle futhi anakekele uNawomi noRuthe.
Okwesithathu, uma uRuthe ayeba nezingane noSibanibani, kwakuzomele zihlanganyele ifa kanye nanoma yiziphi ezinye izingane uSibanibani ayenazo.
Okwesine, uma uSibanibani ayengenazo ezinye izingane, indodana eyayingase izalwe uRuthe yayizoba nelungelo lokuthola kokubili indawo ka-Elimeleki kanye nekaSibanibani. Ngakho, indawo yakhe yayingase iye enganeni ebiza igama lika-Elimeleki, hhayi elakhe. USibanibani wayengazimisele ukudela ifa lakhe ukuze asize uNawomi. Wakhetha ukuvumela umhlengi olandelayo, uBhowazi, ukuba kube nguye owenza lokhu. UBhowazi wamhlenga ngoba wayefuna ‘ukulondoloza igama likamufi nefa lakhe.’—Ruthe 4:10.
Kubonakala sengathi uSibanibani wayekhathalela kakhulu ukulondoloza igama lakhe nefa lakhe. Wayebuswa ubugovu. Kodwa kunokuba alondoloze igama lakhe, igama likaSibanibani alaziwa nakwaziwa. Walahlekelwa nayilungelo elikhethekile elatholwa uBhowazi, lokuba sohlwini lozalo oluholela kuMesiya, uJesu Kristu. Yeka umphumela odabukisayo owatholwa uSibanibani ngenxa yokuthi waba nobugovu wenqaba ithuba lokusiza umuntu owayedinga usizo!—Math. 1:5; Luka 3:23, 32.
