‘NGANGINGUMSHUSHISI oweyisayo,’ kuvuma indoda eyayizikhukhumeza futhi inobudlova esikhathini sangaphambili. Yayingumhlambalazi owayehlupha futhi ibahlukumeza ngokungenazwela abalandeli bakaJesu Kristu abesaba uNkulunkulu. Inomuzwa wokubonga, yathi: “Noma kunjalo, ngaboniswa isihe.” Nakuba kungase kungakholakali, lo mshushisi onobudlova ngokweqile waba umphostoli uPawulu ongumKristu othembekile.—1 Thimothewu 1:12-16; IzEnzo 9:1-19.

Akuwona wonke umuntu oye wenza izinto ezinjengalezo ezenziwa uPawulu. Nokho, sonke siyahluleka ukufinyelela izindinganiso zikaNkulunkulu. Ngani? Ngenxa yokuthi “bonke bonile futhi bayasilela enkazimulweni kaNkulunkulu.” (Roma 3:23) Ngaphezu kwalokho, kulula kakhulu ukubhajwa obishini lokuphelelwa ithemba, mhlawumbe sibe nomuzwa wokuthi sibabi kakhulu ukuba singathola umusa kaNkulunkulu. Lapho ecabanga ngokuthambekela kwakhe okunesono, uPawulu ngokwakhe wakhala: “Yeka mina muntu wosizi! Ubani oyongophula kulomzimba othola lokhukufa?” Ephendula lowo mbuzo wakhe, wabhala: “Makabongwe uNkulunkulu ngoJesu Kristu iNkosi yethu!”—Roma 7:24, 25.

UMdali olungileyo angasebenzelana kanjani nezoni? (IHubo 5:4) Phawula ukuthi uPawulu wathi: “Makabongwe uNkulunkulu ngoJesu Kristu iNkosi yethu.” Omunye owathola umusa kaNkulunkulu wachaza: “Uma-ke noma ubani esenza isono, sinomsizi kuBaba, uJesu Kristu, olungileyo. Futhi ungumhlatshelo oyisihlawulelo wezono zethu, nokho kungezona ezethu kuphela kodwa nezalo lonke izwe.”—1 Johane 2:1, 2.

Kungani uJesu Kristu ebizwa ngokuthi ‘umsizi kuBaba’? Futhi kukanjani uJesu ‘engumhlatshelo oyisihlawulelo’ wezono?

UJesu weza emhlabeni ukuze ‘anikele umphefumulo wakhe ube isihlengo esenana abaningi.’ (Mathewu 20:28) Isihlengo inani elikhokhelwa ukukhulula, noma ukubangela ukuba kukhululwe othile noma into ethile. Isenzo segama lesiHeberu elihunyushwe ngokuthi “isihlengo” sidlulisela umqondo wokuhlawulela izono. (IHubo 78:38) Leli gama lesiGreki, elinjengalelo elitholakala kuMathewu 20:28, lalisetshenziswa ngokukhethekile ekubhekiseleni enanini elikhokhelwa ukuhlenga iziboshwa zempi noma ukukhulula izigqila. Ukuze kwenziwe ngokuvumelana nezimfuneko zobulungisa, kunikelwa into ethile ukuze kutholakale enye enenani elilingana nelayo.

Isintu sangena ebugqilini ngenxa yokuhlubuka komuntu wokuqala kuNkulunkulu. Njengoba kuboniswe kuGenesise isahluko 3, lowo muntu ophelele—U-Adamu—wakhetha ukulandela inkambo yokungamlaleli uJehova uNkulunkulu. Ngokwenza kanjalo, wazithengisela ebugqilini besono nokufa, yena kanye nenzalo yakhe eyayingakazalwa. Ngaleyo ndlela u-Adamu nayo yonke inzalo yakhe balahlekelwa isipho sokuphila okuphelele kobuntu.—Roma 5:12, 18, 19; 7:14.

Kwa-Israyeli wasendulo, uNkulunkulu wenza ilungiselelo lokuba imihlatshelo yezilwane ihlawulele izono zabantu. (Levitikusi 1:4; 4:20, 35) Empeleni, kwakunikelwa ngokuphila kwesilwane esingumhlatshelo esikhundleni sokuphila kwesoni. (Levitikusi 17:11) Ngenxa yalokho, ‘usuku lokubuyisana’ lwalungabizwa nangokuthi “usuku lwezihlengo.”—Levitikusi 23:26-28.

Nokho, njengoba izilwane zisezingeni eliphansi kunelabantu, ‘kwakungenakwenzeka ngegazi lezinkunzi nelezimbuzi ukuba lisuse izono ngokuphelele.’ (Heberu 10:1-4) Ukuze umhlatshelo ube nenani elanele lokuhlawulela, noma ukususa, izono phakade, kwakuyodingeka ube owenani elilinganayo nalelo elalahlekela u-Adamu. Isikali sobulungisa sasidinga umuntu ophelele (uJesu Kristu) ngakolunye uhlangothi ukuze kube nokulingana nalokho okwalahlekela omunye umuntu ophelele (u-Adamu). Ukuphila komuntu ophelele kuphela okwakungakhokha inani lesihlengo sokukhulula inzalo ka-Adamu ebugqilini uyise wokuqala ayithengisela kubo. Kwakuyoba “ukuphila ngokuphila” okwakungahlangabezana nezimfuneko zobulungisa bangempela.—Eksodusi 21:23-25.

Lapho u-Adamu ona futhi enikwa isigwebo sokufa, inzalo yakhe eyayingakazalwa yayisesezinkalweni zakhe, ngaleyo ndlela yafa naye. Umuntu ophelele uJesu, “u-Adamu wokugcina,” ngokuzithandela akazange abe nomkhaya. (1 Korinte 15:45) Inzalo yakhe engakazalwa yayisesezinkalweni zakhe lapho efa njengomhlatshelo womuntu ophelele. Ngakho-ke, kungase kuthiwe uhlanga lwesintu olwalungase lube khona olwalusezinkalweni zakhe lwafa naye. UJesu wathatha umkhaya ka-Adamu onesono nofayo waba owaKhe. Wadela ilungelo lokuba nomkhaya wakhe. Ngokunikela ngokuphila kwakhe okuphelele kobuntu njengomhlatshelo, uJesu wathenga sonke isintu esiyinzalo ka-Adamu ukuze sibe umkhaya waKhe, wazenza “uYise ongunaphakade” waso.—Isaya 9:6, 7.

Umhlatshelo wesihlengo kaJesu wavula indlela yokuba isintu esilalelayo sithole umusa kaNkulunkulu futhi sizuze ukuphila okumi phakade. Ngenxa yalokho, umphostoli uPawulu wabhala: “Inkokhelo isono esiyikhokhayo iwukufa, kodwa isipho uNkulunkulu asinikezayo siwukuphila okumi phakade ngoKristu Jesu iNkosi yethu.” (Roma 6:23) Sishukumiseleka ukuba simdumise uJehova ngothando nesihawu sakhe esihlobene nesihlengo, asilungiselela ngokuba yena neNdodana yakhe ayithanda kakhulu balahlekelwe kakhulu. (Johane 3:16) Futhi ngokuqinisekile uJesu waba ‘umsizi kuBaba’ lapho evuselwa ekuphileni kwasezulwini futhi ethula inani lomhlatshelo wakhe wesihlengo kuNkulunkulu ezulwini. * (Heberu 9:11, 12, 24; 1 Petru 3:18) Kodwa uJesu Kristu uzibonakalisa kanjani manje engumsizi wethu ezulwini?
