“UJesu uyasindisa!” “UJesu unguMsindisi wethu!” Emazweni amaningi emhlabeni wonke, kuchonywé amazwi anjengalawa ezindongeni zezakhiwo nakwezinye izindawo zomphakathi. Kunzima ukucabanga ukuthi u-Adamu no-Eva babengona kanjani. Kodwa umbhangqwana wokuqala ongabantu wahlubuka kuye kanye lowo owayewudalile—uJehova uNkulunkulu. Sisebenzisa inyoka, isidalwa somoya esinguSathane uDeveli sakhohlisa u-Eva ukuze angamlaleli uJehova, u-Adamu wamlandela.—Genesise 3:1-6.

Kwakungekho kungabaza ngalokho uMdali ayeyokwenza ngo-Adamu no-Eva. Wayeyibeke obala imiphumela yokungalaleli, ethi: “Ungadla kuyo yonke imithi yensimu ngokuthanda kwakho, kepha ungadli kuwo umuthi wokwazi okuhle nokubi, ngokuba mhla udla kuwo uyakufa nokufa.” (Genesise 2:16, 17) Manje kwase kunombuzo obaluleke kakhulu owawudinga ukuphendulwa.

Isintu Sibhekana Nenkinga Enzima

Ngokufanelekayo, umphostoli uPawulu kamuva wabhala: “Ngomuntu oyedwa [u-Adamu] isono sangena ezweni nokufa kwangena ngesono, futhi kanjalo ukufa kwasakazekela kubantu bonke ngenxa yokuthi bonke bonile.” (Roma 5:12) Yebo, ngenxa yesono sokuqala, abantwana okwakufanele bazalwe bephelele, belindelwe ukuphila okungenasiphelo, bazalwa belindelwe ukugula, ukuguga nokufa.

Omunye angase athi, “Abukho ubulungisa kulokho. Akuthina esakhetha ukungamlaleli uNkulunkulu—ngu-Adamu. Kungani kufanele silahlekelwe yithemba lethu lokuphila okuphakade nenjabulo?” Siyazi ukuthi uma inkantolo ibingase ifake umfana ejele ngoba uyise entshontshe imoto, lowo mfana ubengakhononda ngakhona athi: “Abukho ubulungisa lapha. Angonanga lutho.”—Duteronomi 24:16.

Ngokonisa owesilisa nowesifazane bokuqala, kungenzeka uSathane wayecabanga ukuthi wayengafaka uNkulunkulu kolukhulu utalatiya. UDeveli wagadla zibekwa nje emlandweni wohlanga lwesintu—kungakazalwa nazingane. Lapho nje u-Adamu ona, umbuzo obalulekile waba ukuthi, UJehova uzokwenzenjani ngezingane u-Adamu no-Eva abazoba nazo?

UJehova uNkulunkulu wénza okulungile futhi okwakuwubulungisa. Indoda elungile u-Elihu yathi: “Makube kude noNkulunkulu ukuba enze okubi, nakuSomandla ukuba enze ukona.” (Jobe 34:10) Futhi umprofethi uMose wabhala ngoJehova: “Uyidwala, umsebenzi wakhe uphelele, ngokuba zonke izindlela zakhe zingukulunga; unguNkulunkulu wokuthembeka ongenakonakala; ulungile, uqotho yena.” (Duteronomi 32:4) Ikhambi elanikezwa nguNkulunkulu weqiniso kule nkinga eyayidalwe yisono sika-Adamu alisiphuci ithuba lokuphila phakade emhlabeni oyipharadesi.

Yona iyakuchoboza ikhanda lakho [Sathane], wena uyakulimaza isithende sayo [ngokufa kukaJesu].” (Genesise 3:15) Kulesi siprofetho seBhayibheli sokuqala, uJehova wabhekisela enjongweni yakhe yokuba iNdodana yakhe yasezulwini ewumoya ize emhlabeni izophila njengomuntu ophelele onguJesu bese ifa—ilinyazwe esithendeni—ikuleso simo sokungabi nasono.

Kungani uNkulunkulu afuna ukuba kufe umuntu ophelele? Usakhumbula ukuthi sasiyini isijeziso uJehova uNkulunkulu ayezosinika u-Adamu uma ona? Sasingekona yini ukufa? (Genesise 2:16, 17) Umphostoli uPawulu wabhala: “Inkokhelo yesono ingukufa.” (Roma 6:23) U-Adamu wakhokhela isono sakhe ngokufa kwakhe. Wayenikwe ukuphila, yena wakhetha ukona, wafa-ke njengesijeziso sesono sakhe. (Genesise 3:19) Kuthiwani ngokulahlwa kwalo lonke uhlanga lwesintu ngenxa yaleso sono? Kwakudingeka ukufa kothile ukuze kuhlawulelwe izono zaso. Kodwa okukabani ukufa okwakungazihlawulela kahle zonke iziphambeko zesintu?

UMthetho kaNkulunkulu esizweni sakwa-Israyeli sasendulo wawufuna kuhlawulwe “ukuphila ngokuphila.” (Eksodusi 21:23) Ngokwalesi simiso esingokomthetho, ukufa okuhlawulela iziphambeko zesintu kwakudingeka kube nenani elilingana nalokho u-Adamu akulahla. Ngukufa komunye umuntu ophelele kuphela okwakungakhokha inkokhelo yesono. UJesu wayengulowo muntu. Ngempela, uJesu ‘wayeyisihlengo esihambelanayo’ sokusindisa sonke isintu esiwuzalo luka-Adamu esihlengekayo.—1 Thimothewu 2:6; Roma 5:16, 17.

Ukufa KukaJesu Kunenani Elikhulu

Ukufa kuka-Adamu kwakungenalo inani; kwakufanele afe ngenxa yesono sakhe. Nokho, ukufa kukaJesu kwakunenani elikhulu ngoba wafa engenasono. UJehova uNkulunkulu wayengalamukela inani lokuphila okuphelele kukaJesu njengesihlengo senzalo elalelayo yesoni u-Adamu. Futhi inani lomhlatshelo kaJesu aligcini nje ngokukhokhela izono zethu ezidlule. Ukube bekunjalo, besingeke sibe nekusasa. Njengoba sizalelwe esonweni, nakanjani siyophinda sone. (IHubo 51:5) Yeka indlela esingabonga ngayo ngokuthi ukufa kukaJesu kwenza ilungiselelo lokuba sithole ukuphelela uJehova ayekuhlosele inzalo ka-Adamu no-Eva kwasekuqaleni!

U-Adamu angafaniswa nobaba owafa wasishiya sicwilé esikweletini sezimali ezinkulu (isono) kangangokuthi ayikho indlela yokuba singaphuma kuleso sikweletu. Ngakolunye uhlangothi, uJesu unjengobaba omuhle owafa wasishiyela ifa elicebile elingagcini ngokusikhipha esikweletini esikhulu u-Adamu asithwesa sona, kodwa futhi elisinika okwanele ukuba siqhubeke siphila phakade. Ukufa kukaJesu akukona nje ukusulwa kwezono ezidlule kuphela; kuyilungiselelo elihle ngokumangalisayo lekusasa lethu.

UJesu uyasisindisa ngoba wasifela. Futhi yeka ukuthi ukufa kwakhe kwaba yilungiselelo elibaluleke kanjani! Lapho sikubheka njengokuyingxenye yekhambi likaNkulunkulu enkingeni eyinkimbinkimbi yesono sika-Adamu, kuyaluqinisa ukholo lwethu kuJehova nasendleleni yakhe yokwenza izinto. Yebo, ukufa kukaJesu kuyindlela yokukhulula “wonke umuntu obonisa ukholo” kuye esonweni, ekuguleni, ekugugeni nasekufeni imbala. (Johane 3:16) Uyambonga yini uNkulunkulu ngaleli lungiselelo lothando lokuba sisindiswe?
