Kushiwo ngamuphi umqondo ukuthi uHezekeli waba “yisimungulu” ngesikhathi sokuvinjelwa nokubhujiswa kweJerusalema?

Ngokuyinhloko, kushiwo ngomqondo wokuthi akabange esaba nalutho olunye lokulwenezela esigijimini sikaJehova esiyisiprofetho ayesesimemezele kakade.

Umprofethi uHezekeli waqala ukuba umlindi othembekile wama-Israyeli ayeyizithunjwa eBhabhiloni “ngonyaka wesihlanu wokudingiswa kweNkosi uJehoyakini,” okungukuthi, ngo-613 B.C.E. (Hezekeli 1:2, 3) Ngosuku lweshumi lwenyanga yeshumi ka-609 B.C.E., uNkulunkulu wamphefumulela emazisa ukuthi abaseBhabhiloni babeyoqala nini ukuvimbezela iJerusalema. (Hezekeli 24:1, 2) Wawuyoba yini umphumela walokhu kuvinjezelwa? Ingabe iJerusalema nezakhamuzi zalo ezingenalukholo laliyophunyuka? Njengomlindi, uHezekeli wayesesidlulisele kakade isigijimi sikaJehova sembubhiso esingashayi phansi, ngakho kwakungasenasidingo sokuba anezele okunye, njengokungathi ngandlela-thile ufuna ukwenza lesi sigijimi sikholeleke kakhudlwana. UHezekeli waba yisimungulu wangabe esakhuluma lutho olunye mayelana nokuvinjezelwa kweJerusalema.—Hezekeli 24:25-27.

Ezinyangeni ezingaba yisithupha ngemva kokubhujiswa kweJerusalema ngo-607 B.C.E., kwafika umuntu othile ophunyukile elethe izindaba zokubhujiswa komuzi ongcwele kuHezekeli eBhabhiloni. Kusihlwa ngaphambi kokuba lo muntu afike, uJehova “wawuvula umlomo [kaHezekeli]  . . , [futhi akabange esaba] isimungulu.” (Hezekeli 33:22) Wabe uyagcina-ke uHezekeli ukuba yisimungulu.

Ingabe uHezekeli wayeyisimungulu ngokoqobo ngaleso sikhathi? Kusobala ukuthi wayengesona ngoba ngemva kokuba eficwe yile nkathi yokuba ‘yisimungulu,’ wamemezela iziprofetho ezaziqondiswe ngokuyinhloko emizini ezungezile, leyo eyajabula lapho iJerusalema liwa. (Hezekeli, izahluko 25-32) Ngaphambili lapho uHezekeli eqala ukuba umprofethi nomlindi, uJehova wathi kuye: “Ulimi lwakho ngizolwenza lunamathele olwangeni lwakho, futhi ngokuqinisekile uzoba yisimungulu, ngeke ube umuntu osolayo kubo, ngoba bayindlu edlubulundayo. Futhi lapho ngikhuluma nawe ngizowuvula umlomo wakho.” (Hezekeli 3:26, 27) Lapho uJehova engenasigijimi afuna ukusidlulisela ku-Israyeli, uHezekeli kwakumelwe athule angakhulumi lutho mayelana naleso sizwe. UHezekeli kwakumelwe akhulume lokho uJehova ayefuna ukuba akukhulume ngesikhathi uJehova ayefuna ukuba akukhulume ngaso. Ukuba yisimungulu kukaHezekeli kwakusho ukuthi wayethule engasawakhulumi amazwi ayisiprofetho kuma-Israyeli.

Isigaba somlindi sosuku lwanamuhla, amaKristu agcotshiwe, besilokhu sixwayisa ngokubhujiswa kweLobukholwa, elifanekisela iJerusalema. Lapho kuqala “usizi olukhulu” futhi lubhubhisa “iBhabhiloni Elikhulu,” umbuso wezwe wenkolo yamanga, isigaba sikaHezekeli esigcotshiwe ngeke kusadingeka ukuba sikhulume okunye okwengeziwe mayelana nokubhujiswa kweLobukholwa, okuyingxenye eyinhloko yalo mbuso.—Mathewu 24:21; IsAmbulo 17:1, 2, 5.

Yebo, luyofika usuku lapho insali egcotshiwe kanye nabangane bayo beyoba yizimungulu, bengasenakho okunye okwengeziwe okudingeka bakudlulisele kweLobukholwa. Lokho kuyokwenzeka lapho “izimpondo eziyishumi . . . nesilo sasendle” zenza iBhabhiloni Elikhulu incithakalo zilihambisa nqunu. (IsAmbulo 17:16) Ngokuqinisekile, lokhu akusho ukuthi amaKristu ayoba yizimungulu ngomqondo ongokoqobo. Njengoba nje enza manje, ayodumisa uJehova futhi akhulume ngaye nsuku zonke “kuzo zonke izizukulwane ezizayo.”—IHubo 45:17; 145:2.
